I was ripped off over 500$ for the plan upgrade I never took! I canceled my account on the 6th of August. At 20.48h on the 14th of August I receive an email with the plan update with the charge! I never entered the account in that period and it is easily proved by the access IP. The plan was updated from France, as is also explained in the "Access Management". I submitted numerous complaints and complaints, I tried a thousand ways to contact the Helium team and the answer was always the same "you are responsible for keeping your password safe". I have 2-factor authentication, and my password is completely secure. By the way, who else would be interested in upgrading to the most expensive plan after the account is cancelled, other than Helium? only Helium benefits, only Helium gets the money! Not any have had the decency to come up with any solutions to the problem. The customer is of no importance to this company. I demand to cancel the account and "they cannot", I demand that they remove my debit card and "they cannot", I demand that they delete my data from their database and "they cannot". After all, who owns the company? The case is being handed over to the police. Be very careful with this company! If anyone needs me to send you the screenshots as proof, just get in touch. It is a fight that I will go to the end. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get it set up properly after 4 weeks. The customer service reps will only offer assistance through text-chat. It takes forever. I have consistently run into adtomic and other bug-like issues that force me to log out - log in multiple times while working on one thing. Renders this powerful tool useless to saving time and money. **Recommendations to others considering Helium 10:** Start at free or with Platinum plans, don't let them recommend you to any higher plan without doing proper research and asking and verifying if you will get a full refund if it doesn't work for you within the first 7 days or less. Trust me, some plans will make you want to know if it's for you or not, I guarantee you'll be just fine with the cheapest options. I recommend watching their videos as well as a butt load on Youtube on how to use their tools, it's not easy if your new, it's not something you will learn overnight. But I can guarantee that with determination and time, you will figure out your way around Helium10 (so long as the tools are properly working) within a few weeks to maybe a month or 3, so remember that you will be spending approx. 3 months or hopefully less to figure out this "easy" tool. Trust me as a novice it's do-able, but it will take a lot of time/effort. I canceled my subscription to move it to a new email address. Helium 10 reactivated it without my knowledge or consent and kept charging my credit card for two months. There is no way to remove a credit card from the account. Helium refuses to refund the money. **What do you dislike about Helium 10?** The company is greedy and unethical. Their cancellation process is a major pain. Do NOT give them your credit card - they will continue to take your money whether you need their service or not. **What problems is Helium 10 solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is taking my money for no service provided and it is proving extremely difficult to cancel these unauthorized charges. **Official Response from Sean Chantaracharat:** > Hi there! In addition to the tools like BlackBox, Trendster, Cerebro, Scribbles. Every tool that comes with the Platinum subscription is a star. The insights you can generate about the other ASINs by competition, to your own products listed on Amazon are thorough and can be put to great use. **What do you dislike about Helium 10?** The subscription fee is steep for entry-level sellers/start-ups like us. We have only 10 ASINs and generate a small volume of business from Amazon. Spending $97 every month pinches the pocket at times. It'd be great if they can release a version that's open to only one seller account, or maybe has a cheaper plan without features like landing pages, etc **What problems is Helium 10 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helium 10 is a Holistic solution for any Amazon Seller, the tools are Remarkable. I heavily rely on; 1. BlackBox - for figuring out the opportunities that I can take up without much hassle(investment, procurement, etc) as it gives a good view of what upcoming products-in-demand can be. 2. Cerebro - For generating keywords based on ASINs from my competitors, it's important to add/delete keywords for optimizing. And Cerebro does a pretty good job at that. 3. Keyword Tracker - TO track the performance of each keyword in relation to my ASINs. Brilliant reports. 4. Adtomic - To manage my PPC campaigns, based of suggestions and insights. And many, many others. In fact, the complimentary subscription to Freedom Ticket is so very thorough as well.
