"A Must Have Analytics Tool for Content Creators"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like how much useful data Google Analytics provides in one place. The traffic reports, audience insights, dashboards and detailed analytics help me understand how people discover and interact with my content. Google Analytics provides excellent value for the price. The amount of data, reporting, and audience insights available makes it a valuable tool for understanding content performance and improving my overall content strategy. For a content creator, the ability to track traffic and user behaviour helps justify the investment because the insights can directly support better content and marketing decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

There are so many metrics and reporting options that it can feel overwhelming at first. It takes some time to understand which data is actually important for my content strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Real-Time Insights with Seamless Google Ads & Search Console Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is great for tracking website traffic and understanding user behavior in real time. I especially like the ability to see traffic sources, set up custom goals/conversions, and build audience segments. The integration with Google Ads and Search Console makes it easy to connect marketing efforts directly to results, and the free tier is powerful enough for most small to mid sized businesses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The learning curve can be steep for beginners, especially with GA4's event based model, which feels less intuitive than the old Universal Analytics setup. Data sampling on high-traffic properties can affect accuracy, and there's often a reporting delay before data fully processes. Customizing reports and dashboards also requires more technical know how than it should, and customer support can be slow to respond for non enterprise accounts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The platform has a lot of features and metrics, so it can feel overwhelming in the beginning. It takes some time to understand which reports and metrics are most useful for my goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dependable, Fast Insights with Great Free Value"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Overall, Google Analytics has been a dependable part of how we track performance at CargoX. The interface takes a bit of getting used to at first given how much data it surfaces, but once you're familiar with it, navigating between reports becomes second nature. It integrates well with the rest of our marketing and web tools, pulling data together without much friction. Performance-wise, it's fast and reliable even with the volume of traffic we're tracking. We're using the free version, which offers strong value for a startup since we're not paying anything for the level of insight we get. We haven't needed much direct support from Google on this, mostly because documentation and community resources cover most questions that come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The main downside is that the analysis side can feel complex, especially when you're trying to dig into more detailed or custom reports. It takes some time to really understand how to slice the data the way you want, and the learning curve there is steeper than I'd like for something used on a daily basis. "Valuable Insights, but GA4 is a Steep Climb"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like that Google Analytics is free and displays all the essential information in one place, like visitors, popular pages, and traffic sources. I don't need any paid tool or special skills to get the basic numbers, and reports are easy to share with the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The new version (GA4) is confusing. Many reports I used before are hard to find, and it took me time to learn where things are. Setting up events and goals needs some technical knowledge. I could not do it alone and had to ask someone for help. Sometimes the numbers don't match other tools, so I was not sure which one to trust. Also, some reports load slowly when I select a long date range. It would be better if the menus were simpler and basic reports were easier to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear End-to-End User Journey Tracking with Easy Google Ads & Looker Studio Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like how clearly it tracks user journeys from start to finish. Being able to see where traffic is actually coming from and which landing pages keep people engaged gives us clear data on what’s working. The integration with Google Ads and Looker Studio also makes reporting straightforward without needing manual data exports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The interface feels cluttered, and finding basic metrics often takes more clicks than it should. The reporting setup in GA4 has a steep learning curve compared to the older version, so simple tasks like checking conversion paths or traffic sources can feel unintuitive without creating custom exploration reports. "Google Analytics: The Backbone of Cross-Channel Client Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I'm a marketing strategist at a small agency, and Google Analytics is the backbone of nearly every client report I build across SEO, paid search, and content. What I like best is that it's the one place where I can connect what's actually happening across channels: I can see how organic traffic shifts month to month, tie campaign landing pages to conversions, and back up strategic recommendations with data instead of hunches. The integration with the rest of the Google ecosystem, especially Google Ads and Search Console, means I'm not manually stitching data sources together for every report. And since it's free, the value question answers itself for a small agency managing a dozen-plus clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The GA4 interface still doesn't feel built for people who live in reports. Things that were one click in Universal Analytics now take an Exploration or three menus of digging, and when I'm building monthly reports across multiple clients, that friction adds up. The reporting interface can also be slow to load, especially with longer date ranges or comparisons. My biggest wish is that the standard reports answered more questions out of the box, because right now it feels like GA4 assumes everyone has time to build custom reports from scratch, which isn't the reality at a small agency. "Reliable Analytics with Strong Integrations and AI-Powered Insights"

What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics has so many options for tracking and understanding our page visitors and their behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Sometimes it can be a bit confusing to have so many options. People who are already trained can handle it easily, but for newcomers it’s a bit difficult to understand everything and know more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Insights, Complex Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I find Google Analytics to be a powerful tool for understanding website traffic and user behavior. I like the detailed insights it provides, which make it easy to track website traffic and understand user behavior. The customizable reports and the ability to track specific goals and conversions are features I really appreciate. The real-time data and clear performance metrics are especially useful for quickly understanding what’s happening on the website. It also offers stronger integrations with other Google products, which is a great fit for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

One thing I think could be improved is the complexity of the interface. It can take some time to understand all the reports and features, especially for new users. A simpler layout, clearer explanations, and easier-to-use reporting tools would make it more accessible. The interface could be made more beginner-friendly by simplifying the navigation and organizing reports into clearer categories. Google Analytics could also provide more guided tutorials, tooltips, and explanations of technical terms so users can understand the data more easily. Customizing dashboards and creating reports could be more intuitive, with simpler drag-and-drop options. It would also be helpful to have more ready-made templates for common goals, such as tracking sales, conversions, or user engagement. Overall, a cleaner interface with fewer complex menus would make it easier for new users to get useful insights without spending too much time learning the platform. "Great Website Traffic Tracking"
4/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I like best about Google Analytics is that it allows us to understand how people arrive on our website and how they interact with our content. We use it to track website traffic, traffic sources, user behavior, page views and conversions.

It is especially useful for understanding which marketing channels are working better, such as organic search, paid campaigns, social media, newsletters or referral traffic. This helps us make more informed decisions instead of relying only on impressions or assumptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The main thing I dislike is that Google Analytics can be complex to interpret, especially after changes in the platform or in the way data is collected and reported. Sometimes metrics or reports seem to change, and it is not always immediately clear why.

It can also take time to configure events, conversions and reports correctly. For non-technical users, some parts of GA4 are less intuitive than expected and require learning or support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
