# How does Canva handle large multi-page designs and longer video projects?

Something I've been checking is how Canva handles large multi-page designs and longer video projects, since most of what people make there is short and quick. For everyday graphics and short decks, it stays fast in the browser on almost any machine. From what people write on G2, very long presentations full of high-resolution images, longer videos and pages crowded with small elements are where responsiveness changes, especially on a patchy connection. The desktop version handles those better than the mobile app, and selecting elements through layers makes crowded pages easy to work with.

In content creation, that makes Canva a good fit for teams producing lots of everyday assets, with AI tools, background removal and real-time collaboration built in. Big decks and long videos are well within reach with the desktop version and a little preparation, so one tool can cover both.

What I'd like to hear from people with big projects:

Has the desktop version made a difference?

Did compressing images help?

Do you split long decks into several files?

What's the largest project you've built in Canva?

Has anyone split a long deck into sections and combined them at the end? I’d be curious whether that stays more responsive than keeping everything in one large desktop project.
