"Powerful Behavioral Analytics + A/B Testing, but Setup and Reporting Can Feel Heavy"

What do you like best about Freshmarketer?

The combination of behavioral analytics and experimentation is what I find most valuable. Being able to see where users click, how they move through pages, where they drop out of a funnel, and how they interact with forms gives us far more context than basic traffic numbers alone. Session recordings are especially helpful because they let us review real user journeys and spot friction points that might not be obvious in aggregated analytics.

I also appreciate how easily these insights connect to actual optimization work. When we uncover a usability issue through heatmaps or session recordings, we can test an alternative version and measure whether the change improves the outcome we care about. Having behavioral analysis, funnels, and A/B testing in the same workflow makes it much more efficient to identify problems, test solutions, and then measure the impact. What do you dislike about Freshmarketer?

When analyzing a larger website or running multiple experiments at once, the sheer amount of data available can feel a bit overwhelming. It takes time to figure out which reports and behavioral signals are truly relevant to the question we’re trying to answer, and the initial setup for tracking and funnels often requires careful, detailed configuration.

I’d also like more flexibility for customizing reports and bringing insights together from different sources. The current analytics are helpful for spotting friction points and understanding user behavior, but deeper segmentation and more advanced reporting would make it easier to compare specific user groups and translate findings into more targeted optimization decisions. For smaller teams, cost can also become a factor as traffic grows and the number of features needed increases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
