"Freshworks Makes Ticketing and Customer Support Fast, Easy, and Efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

One of the biggest advantages of using Fresh works is its user-friendly and intuitive interface, which makes it easy to navigate while handling calls. It allows agents to create and track tickets efficiently, route concerns to the appropriate department, and provide guests with real-time updates during the same interaction. Fresh works also centralizes customer information, improves follow-up tracking, enhances team collaboration, and helps ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner, leading to a better customer experience and increased productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

"One challenge I experience with Freshworks is that it occasionally displays error messages such as 'You're doing too much' or experiences loading delays, especially when handling multiple tasks. This can temporarily slow down workflow and require refreshing or retrying actions. However, overall, the platform remains easy to navigate and effective for managing tickets and customer interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Feature-Rich Platform for Managing Customer Service"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

What I like most about Freshdesk is its intuitive interface and how it streamlines customer support management. Creating, assigning, and tracking support tickets feels simple and clear, which helps teams stay organized and respond to customers more efficiently.

Its automation tools—like ticket routing, SLA management, and canned responses—save time and boost productivity. Freshdesk also integrates smoothly with other business tools, making it easier to handle customer interactions from a single platform.

Another standout area is reporting and analytics, which offer helpful insights into team performance and customer satisfaction. The platform is easy to pick up, and the onboarding experience is straightforward, so new users can become productive quickly.

Overall, Freshdesk is a dependable, feature-rich help desk solution that strengthens support operations and helps deliver a better customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

While Freshdesk is a capable customer support platform, there are a few areas where it could improve. Some advanced features—such as stronger automation, deeper analytics, and broader customization—are limited to higher-tier plans, which can drive up costs for growing teams.

For first-time users, the platform can also feel a bit overwhelming due to the sheer number of settings and configuration options. On top of that, certain reports and workflow customizations require additional setup before they fully align with specific business needs.

At times, the web interface may feel slightly slow when dealing with large ticket volumes or when loading more detailed reports. Expanding the AI capabilities and making more advanced features available in lower-tier plans would further improve the overall experience.

Even with these drawbacks, Freshdesk remains a reliable, user-friendly help desk solution that supports day-to-day customer service operations effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Powerful, and Effective Helpdesk Software"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

Freshdesk has a user-friendly interface and an efficient ticket management system. It helps support teams organise customer queries, prioritise issues, and track resolution in one place. I also appreciate its automation feature, knowledge base integration, and multi-channel support, which improve productivity and enhance the overall customer experience. I also like Freshdesk because it is easy to use, helps me manage customer tickets, and offers automation features that make customer support faster and more organised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

While Freshdesk is a powerful and user-friendly interface that makes support work efficient, there are also some disadvantages. Some of its advanced features require a subscription, which can make it difficult to use for small and medium-sized organisations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freshdesk is flexible and can be made to work the way you do."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

I can customize everything, from my technicians Signatures, to prioritizing tickets to sending items to different departments. And as an MSP doing IT service for many companies, their users can reach me using a localized domain name to make life easier (help@yourdomain.com). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

The help and documentation system is not laid out well and often I have to ask support how to do things. Recently they have increased the price and removed discounts that I have had for 6 years, their responsiveness to inquiries about this has been slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Ticket Visibility and Canned Replies, but the New Contact Panel Slows Us Down"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

Keeping tabs on the individual enquiries and making them visible for our support staff to follow up on by allowing us to filter by open tickets first. The canned responses save a lot of repeat data entry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

The new contact panel is much more unintuitive than the previous one. It has increased double data handling, which means our staff have to copy contact details into another text editor instead of being able to pull the info directly out of the current email/enquiry, like the old contact system used to let us do. Freshdesk support say they can’t change it and that I have to get used to it.

Another issue is that some data fields don’t display until other fields have some kind of input. For example, when creating or assigning a new contact, the name field doesn’t show up until there is some data entered in the mobile phone field. This means that entering contacts without mobile phone numbers takes more clicks and more time than it should.

I’m also unable to reply to just one person within a case thread that has many recipients. If that particular person replies separately without the other contacts included, I still have to split the reply out just to respond to a single person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Global Communication, Needs Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

I find Freshdesk incredibly valuable for inbound and outbound calls, as well as for sending and receiving emails. Plus, it allows me to access and review call histories whenever necessary, which is a huge help in case I need to revisit a call for any missed information. I really appreciate how it enables communication regardless of location, especially since we're based in PH and often interact with clients and co-workers around the world. The chat and structured documentation features, like internal ticket notes, make working with global teams across different time zones smooth, fast, and organized. Also, the setup was very easy and intuitive, which definitely helped us get started quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

When I'm using a lot of tabs to pull up various tickets, especially when dealing with a complicated customer issue, I encounter an issue where my account seems to be making too many requests. This disrupts my ability to review past calls properly as sometimes I have to leave the tab and wait before finishing my notes. Additionally, there are instances where calls aren't ringing, which affects my metrics since these are considered abandoned calls. Opening multiple past tickets triggers rate limit errors, disrupting note-taking. It would be great to have features like a single tab history preview and real-time auto-saving notes, and perhaps a built-in audio test feature to check our headset before starting calls. "Fresh Desk is a great tool that we use to assist our customers with help."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

I love the analysis and history of Freshdesk. Freshdesk tracks agent productivity throughout the day and breaks down this data hour by hour. We are able to jointly find that the United Nations agency has resolved the most important issues or sends immediate responses. All this data is particularly useful once new tickets are assigned, as we are able to consult the history of our best collaborators. Previous tickets are simply searched by keyword, agent, or period. Once several people have participated in a project, it is very useful to decipher which United Nations agency did what and when! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

A factor that, in my opinion, is improved is having a choice of options to channel an associated email. It is not common to be forced to involve several people in a decision, but when we do, we must include them from the very beginning, as opposed to adding them to Group A. The data always ensures that everyone is on the same page, but it is even more difficult for the agent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, User-Friendly UI That’s Easy to Learn"

User-friendly interface with a short learning curve and very good UI, very intuitive and simple to use in daily life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

Product updates and release notes could be presented in a more intuitive way. In-app guidance and learning resources could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A usable ticketing system trapped behind an inflexible contract"
1/5
What do you like best about Freshdesk?

Continued use has confirmed that centralized email handling and searchable ticket history remain useful for day-to-day support operations. Agents can review previous conversations and coordinate ticket ownership in one place. However, we have not identified any significant new benefits since the original review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshdesk?

Freshworks should make the commercial terms as clear as the product pricing. Before signature, sales representatives should provide a simple written comparison of all available options and clearly disclose the contract term, cancellation restrictions, seat-reduction limits, and the difference between monthly billing and a month-to-month subscription.

When a customer is moved from a discontinued plan under the risk of service interruption, continuity pressure should not be used to rush a long-term commitment. Freshworks should also offer a reasonable process for reducing unused seats or ending the agreement early when business needs materially change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
