Foreman has been a huge help in running my general contracting business, especially around estimating and customer communication. It gave me one place to organize project details, build clearer estimates, track customer conversations, and keep better visibility into where each job or potential deal stood. The estimating process felt much more streamlined because I could keep scope, pricing, notes, and customer information together instead of bouncing between texts, emails, spreadsheets, and separate documents. The value for money is also strong because it helped save time on admin work and made my business look more professional to customers. Being able to access everything through the cloud made it easier to stay on top of projects from the office, the job site, or wherever I was working. What do you dislike about Foreman? It took a couple of hours to get fully set up, especially getting my projects, customer information, estimating workflow, and job details organized. That said, the upfront setup was worth it. Once everything was in the system, it made estimates, follow-ups, and project visibility much smoother down the line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Foreman solving and how is that benefiting you? Foreman solved a lot of the problems I was running into with Procore. Procore had a lot of functionality, but for my general contracting business it often felt too expensive, too complex, and too slow to use day to day. I needed something that helped me move faster, not another system that required a lot of extra admin work just to stay organized. Foreman gave me a more streamlined way to manage estimating, customer communication, project details, and deal tracking in one place. Instead of jumping between Procore, emails, texts, spreadsheets, and notes, I could keep everything more centralized and easier to follow. That helped me respond to customers faster, create clearer estimates, track where each job stood, and avoid details slipping through the cracks. The biggest benefit has been visibility. I have a better understanding of what deals are active, what needs follow-up, what information customers need, and where each project stands. Compared to Procore, Foreman feels faster, simpler, and much better suited for a contractor who wants the core tools without unnecessary complexity.
