What I dislike about FMG Suite is that some things can feel limited and not very customizable. Sometimes the designs and templates look too similar, and changing small details can be hard. I appreciate that it is highly industry-oriented, offering compliance-friendly content and CRM integrations with other systems. I also like the concept of having the entire basic marketing landscape covered, including email, social media, and even website management. As a Barron’s and Forbes Top Advisor, I have high standards for not just the type of content I share with clients, but how it comes across. I believe communication is so important in our industry; words have impact. I honestly didn’t think the DIFM content would be up to our standards, but in many ways, it is better than what I would spend hours writing myself. The voice is right, the topics are relevant and informative, and the warmth of the author comes through in a helpful way. It doesnt feel like marketing; clients feel important and heard. As with any digital platform, there is always room for improvement. I like that FMG keeps a running list of feedback, listens to their clients and is frequently making updates to improve their offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FMG (no longer called FMG Suite) is easy to use. It's great if you can't afford your own marketing team. You can have a whole website without knowing to code. You can do blogs and emails straight from the platform. They also have pre-loaded blogs, social media, emails, etc. Does depend on the plan you have with them. The pre-loaded content is a bit cookie-cutter and a little bland, but it is informative. Again, depends on the plan you have what content is available to you. The help desk is actually HELPFUL, which isn't always the case, and the design team did a fabulous job on the site. They are very attentive and response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is significantly shorter to list what I like, nothing. I was sold a "completely custom" website that would be designed from the ground up using their design and copyright staff. I was sold that there was a huge amount of content to use for marketing to the decision makers on defined contribution plans (CFO and HR).

Reality? Choose among maybe a dozen prebuilt themes, colors and a photo album. They will move your text from your current website and make changes you would like to change. Oh, content? This "service" offers the smallest content library I have ever seen of any of the providers and SURPRISE none geared toward my intended target audience.

The day I was provided credentials to access the system was the day, within minutes, that I cancelled. I have written proof from them that they acknowledged the receipt of my cancellation.

Now they want me to pay them a "buy out" of my contract. I've turned this over to my credit card company and state attorney for resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FMG is conveniently connected directly to my compliance department so everything done is approved and I'm adhering to rules and regulations. The peace of mind that comes with that is invaluable. Our site is clean. Content is easy to edit. And customer support is willing to go the extra mile to walk you through how to add things if you don't know how.
