**What do you like best about Fly with wren?**

Honestly, it’s the templates. I’ve tried a bunch of email signature generators before, and they all seem to spit out the same boring corporate rectangle with a blue line down the side. Wren’s templates actually look modern—there are around 20 of them, and the layouts feel fresh without being over the top. I picked one with a geometric style, and it even gets compliments from clients, which never happened with my old signature.

The editor is also really easy to use. You see changes in real time as you tweak things, so there’s no guessing what the final result will look like. I’ve wasted way too much time with other tools where I’d copy the signature into Gmail and then realize the spacing was off. Here, what you see is what you get. The editor loads fast, too—no lag when switching between templates or updating fields—which matters when you’re trying to get through setup quickly instead of sitting around waiting for previews to render.

I also like that I can use my company logo as the avatar instead of a headshot. I don’t love putting my face in every email, and this gave me a clean alternative without leaving a weird blank space.

Integration-wise, it works smoothly with Gmail, which is my main client. The signature is table-based HTML, so it doesn’t break when you paste it in—no weird formatting issues, no missing images, and no layout shifts on mobile. I connected my LinkedIn and added a Calendly booking link directly in the signature as well, so people can schedule time with me in one click straight from the email.

The banner feature is a nice bonus, too. I added a small promo banner under my signature linking to a case study I wrote, and I can actually see when people click it. The click tracking is smart about it: it shows me which banners are getting engagement, so I can rotate content based on what performs. I didn’t expect that level of intelligence from a signature tool.

Setup was straightforward. There’s step-by-step onboarding that walks you through everything, and I didn’t need to watch a tutorial or read docs.

**What do you dislike about Fly with wren?**

The free trial is only 14 days, which felt a bit short. I signed up and then got busy with other things, and by the time I came back to set everything up properly, I’d already used up half the trial.

I also wish I could tweak the templates a little more—for example, moving elements around more freely or adjusting the overall layout structure. The templates are solid as they are, but sometimes I just want to nudge something a few pixels to the left and I can’t. It’s not a dealbreaker, just a minor frustration.

The analytics are fairly basic right now. I can see clicks on my banner, which is nice, but I’d love more detail—like which emails led to those clicks, or what time of day performs best. That might be more of a team-level feature, though.

Lastly, I’m mostly using Gmail and it works great there, but I haven’t tested it across every email client out there. If you’re using something more niche, that’s probably worth keeping in mind.

**What problems is Fly with wren solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My old email signature was a mess. I’d built it manually in HTML years ago, and over time it started falling apart: it broke on mobile, the social links were outdated, and it looked unprofessional next to the emails I was sending to prospects. I kept putting off fixing it because rebuilding a signature from scratch is tedious.

Wren fixed that in one sitting. I chose a template, filled in my details, uploaded my logo, added my LinkedIn and calendar link, and that was it. Now my emails actually look polished and consistent, which matters when you’re reaching out to people cold.

The banner feature also gave me a low-effort way to promote content. Instead of dropping links into the email body (which can feel salesy), having a small branded banner in my signature feels more natural. I’ve gotten clicks from it without feeling like I’m being pushy.
