"Intuitively make reports with XLCubed that noobs can use."

What do you like best about FluenceXL?

The very intuitive way to build reports in an environment I like very much, namely Excel. XLCubed adds functionality and formulas to a program I use daily. The published reports are easily accessible to the end-users and I can control every folder the end-users can see either by roles or by AD groups. The add-in gives me the ability to create calculations in the report to add on the info in the Cube.

The number of possible connections: SSAS, SQL, Oracle, SAP, Google BigQuery, IBM TM1 and many more, keeps growing as well as the number of ways to graphically present data.

And support is fast in answering my questions or fixing bugs and adding new suggested functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FluenceXL?

The full width of functionalities to build reports requires the add-in to run in Excel. The web version has fewer possibilities compared to the add-in in Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FluenceXL solving and how is that benefiting you?

Many of our customers are not strong on interpreting data and combining the info from different systems to one picture where it all connects. XLCubed gives the possibility to make it understandable with tables, graphs, charts, drill through, drill down.

It also gives me the possibility to add comments to the slices so I can talk with my colleagues or boss.

And being able to write back data to the data warehouse using the same reports is very beneficial for forecasts, corrections on budgets etcetera.

The reports are distributed via a website and that makes it possible for end users to work from home and being able to e-mail reports via schedules as Excelfile of PDF is perfect! Many of our end users in the higher management want to access their reports by tablet or smartphone and with XLCubed I can make reports responsive to the screen they're using.

If necessary, end users can take a deep dive and analyze the information back to the extracted data from every system or even have real-time data in the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FluenceXL?

I have found XLCubed to be well suited to most organisation sizes.

While we implement against Microsoft Dynamics we have also successfully used XLCubed against all types of data. This includes hospitals, manufactures, distributors and financial services providers.

I also like that its authored in MS Excel. This is a tool most users are already familar with. Often they have used Pivot Tables so the BI concepts are soemwhat understood. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FluenceXL?

Is not well suited to "live" reports, but it doesn't pretend that it does.

What do you like best about FluenceXL?

We have found that because XLCubed is an Excel add-in which allows for a direct connection to the live data in our cubes, our Excel users feel empowered by the ability to create their own reports for Analysis and presentation. The ability for users to build and own their reports has helped to push the concept of a single source of truth, replacing information housed in multiple Excel workbooks. The barrier of entry is low, because most users are familiar with excel and knowledge can be directly transfered.
