What problems is Flowtrac solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a real lack of process before Flowtrac, now we have processes users follow. Those bad processes cause us to have around $100K per year in inventory write-offs, this year it will be around $10K and some of that is us writing off dead inventory. Inventory issues cost us money, time & customers.
RMA's - Flowtrac allows us to match an RMA to the order is was purchased from and links the serial number. This was extremely helpful since this information provided us with a purchase date on hardware and extended warranties we sold.
QuickBooks Integration - When an order is finished we move that order to QuickBooks as an invoice. PO's are moved to QuickBooks as bills which makes things much easier on the bookkeeper.
Repairs & Special Buttons - As our business developed, we needed Flowtrac software to change with us, and it did. We added a new section to the software that we used to manage a business we purchased until we were able to integrate it completely into our company. Flowtac created a green plus button that allowed us to associate inventory & its cost to an order without displaying all the line items to the customer.
