What do you like best about Flowtrac?

We started using Flowtrac software in 2015 and it has provided our company with a great operational structure. There is great traceability for inventory that allows us to figure out what happened. We use Flowtrac to pay sales commissions because we can rely on the data. We found QuickBook to be a joke when it comes to data integrity since transactions can be deleted or changed with little or no accountability. While it provides managers a lot of power under the hood, we also have views that are restricted to make it easy for sales reps to check on orders & inventory. Due to it being cloud-based, our CPA office can log in and verify PO's and other data they need without the need for a VPN connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flowtrac?

I have always wanted Flowtrac to handle the accounting side of things for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Flowtrac solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had a real lack of process before Flowtrac, now we have processes users follow. Those bad processes cause us to have around $100K per year in inventory write-offs, this year it will be around $10K and some of that is us writing off dead inventory. Inventory issues cost us money, time & customers.

RMA's - Flowtrac allows us to match an RMA to the order is was purchased from and links the serial number. This was extremely helpful since this information provided us with a purchase date on hardware and extended warranties we sold.

QuickBooks Integration - When an order is finished we move that order to QuickBooks as an invoice. PO's are moved to QuickBooks as bills which makes things much easier on the bookkeeper.

Repairs & Special Buttons - As our business developed, we needed Flowtrac software to change with us, and it did. We added a new section to the software that we used to manage a business we purchased until we were able to integrate it completely into our company. Flowtac created a green plus button that allowed us to associate inventory & its cost to an order without displaying all the line items to the customer. What do you like best about Flowtrac?

Flowtrac has changed our company! We use Flowtrac for all of our warehouse functions as well as billing! With Flowtrac's help, we went from a completely manual company to a digital company. I love that it can be designed and edited to meet our specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flowtrac?

The only thing I dislike about the whole system is that the filtering for reports gets a little confusing at times. There are so many options for what data you need that it almost takes more time to decide which data needs to be filtered in which way in order to build the grids to get the reports. Otherwise, there is not much I can complain about! It has been a workplace changer! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Flowtrac solving and how is that benefiting you?

Data collection and reporting and "loss of inventory" were probably the biggest things that Flowtrac has solved for me. Data collection when the entire company was "pen and paper" takes more time and effort to gather and condense to report. The "loss" of inventory was more like an employee would put a pallet somewhere and then we couldn't find it. Now, it's a transfer to the correct storage location in the system and everyone knows where it is! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The process of integrating what we already had in place was difficult, however once we figured out what needed to be done, the process move smoothly. Also i dont like how when you need to search for something it takes it a while to pull up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can utilize the entire program to run your business; or you can select to utilize only certain sections of their program- making them a customizable solution to your business.
