**What do you like best about FINTRX?**

Interface was relatively easy to use, although there is a bit of a learning curve. There's a lot of data, but it's up to you to slice and dice it, so when you first use the system, it's a bit overwhelming. You'll be assigned an account manager who will spend as much time as you need personally helping you.

**What do you dislike about FINTRX?**

Organizations mis-categorized. Contact data not accurate. Overall, we found the platform to be a waste of money. Unfortunately, Fintrx locks you into a year-long contract, and they will stick you to it. A very expensive lesson well-learned. We will never again use this company and hope others learn from our mistake. 

Also, the way they train their salespeople makes the experience feel more like buying a used car than subscribing to a B2B software platform. Perhaps it was just the salesman we got, but it was unpleasant and in retrospect, it is clear that he didn't care about providing value; he was just trying to make the sale.

We tried to use the platform for a couple of months, found that the learning curve was too high, found the data poor, and went to the company with a desire to leave or at least get a pause. These requests were met with a blithe "No." So, we let it collect dust for the remaining ten months of the contract.

Caveat emptor.

**What problems is FINTRX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ostensibly, it's to help firms find limited partners. As an emerging firm, we are mostly focused on family offices, and FINTRX tries to bring some visibility to that community along with other groups of investors. They say it's an opt-in for families to sign up, but several families whom I know were incorrectly categorized with poor contact information. That tells me that they're likely scraping the internet, which doesn't produce good results.
