The dashboards give me a clear snapshot. When I do need support, their team is responsive and genuinely helpful rather than giving scripted answers. It feels like software built by people who actually understand HR work, not just tech people guessing. **What do you dislike about Evalu-8 HR Software?** The main thing I dislike is that you can’t view or retain previous work patterns for individuals. When you update someone’s working hours, the system overwrites their existing pattern instead of storing the old one. That causes issues with annual leave calculations because any leave already taken gets recalculated based on the new pattern, not the one that was actually in place at the time. It means the remaining entitlement isn’t an accurate reflection of reality. It doesn't take long to learn how to navigate through the system. It's has a lot of customisation throughout. The customer support is amazing, I always receive a quick response in a friendly manner when I query something within the system. The Report building feature is my favourite, I like that I can customise the data I can pull out of Evalu-8. **What do you dislike about Evalu-8 HR Software?** I can't pull a report from a set date, it only allows me to pull from the date edited within the system, I have to manipulate spreadsheets before sending over to payroll which is time consuming. I can't make mass change to custom fields which means I need to go into employee files individually which is very time consuming. **What problems is Evalu-8 HR Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Evalu-8 is good for the recruitment side of the system which saves time when concerting into an employee. This was the first HRIS we implemented and Evalu-8 made the processes a breeze, they have everything in one place. One of my favourite things is how flexible both the system and the team are. You can add customisable forms which mean we no longer have to rely on excel sheets. The team at Evalu-8 are always willing to add or review suggestions on things we need for our business.
