One area we feel E8 could improve is the user experience, as some features can take a little time to get used to. At times, navigating certain processes isn’t as intuitive as it could be, and having more flexibility and customisation would be helpful. Evalu-8 Software is very easy and straightforward to use, and most of it feels intuitive. It also allows you to personalise certain sections, such as reports, staff PDPs, and appraisal reports. For the smaller entrepreneur who is new to HR it provides all the information you would need in its templates and help features that someone would need to provide a goo HR system without an HR specialist. Sometimes there are certain functions that necessarily are deep within the system and not immediately visible, if they were the number of tabs would be ridiculous. But I have to say that I normally find how to get to them through the internet, and if that doesn't work a quick enquiry email gets me the information very quickly, sometimes the same day, certainly by the next working day. It has enabled me to have data about sickness and leavers etc at my fingertips through the reporting with out having to hunt for it. It is a brilliant tool for having all employee info collated together in one place. I sometimes struggle to remember how to do things on the system and I think there could be more guides or a live chat to help with small queries. Some of the options for editing or hiding fields feel a bit limiting, but the team is really responsive and seems to be taking this on board for future development. I like that employee profiles are easy to navigate with Evalu-8 HR Software. The web portal has a nice layout and I appreciate the immediate notifications. The Evalu-8 HR Software app is quite limited. Although it's helpful for booking annual leave, there are other features accessible on the web platform that could be added to improve the experience, especially for employees without access to a computer or laptop. I also found the initial setup difficult since we were transitioning from using an Excel sheet and paper storage for documents. It seems the setup assumes prior knowledge of HR laws, making it trickier for us as we use an external HR company. I use Evalu-8 HR Software for all our HR records, logging in and out, and storing all company policies. It helps keep all our documents in one safe place and gives me reports to manage absence, leave, and ensure staff compliance with our policies and procedures. I love that it's a one-stop shop for all our HR needs, quick and easy to use, and the dashboard provides a quick overview of our business HR needs.
