**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

What I like best about Equisoft/connect is that everything is centralized in one place: client data, emails, activities, and documents are all linked together. This makes follow-ups effortless and helps me stay fully compliant without any extra effort.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

My biggest frustration is the lack of flexibility. Customization options are very limited, navigation takes too many clicks just to reach basic client information, and reports are cumbersome to build. The mobile app also feels underdeveloped, especially since there are no push notifications for tasks.

**What problems is Equisoft/connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest thing for me is that everything’s in one place, client emails, policy info, meeting notes, so I’m not bouncing between five different tools anymore. That alone makes my day a lot smoother.

Because it connects directly with the insurance carriers and Equisoft/plan, I’m also not copy-pasting data all over the place. That means fewer mistakes and a faster turnaround, and clients definitely notice.

Cost-wise, yes, it’s an investment. But if you’re managing a big book of clients, the time you save on compliance tasks and follow-ups more than makes up for it.

Onboarding took a little while to get right, but once everything was set up properly, things don’t really slip through the cracks anymore. The workflows keep you on track and help make sure nothing gets missed.

And the AI features are actually starting to feel genuinely useful it flags which clients need attention and surfaces things I might have overlooked. It’s less about reacting to problems and more about staying ahead of them.

**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

The available fields to truly quantify, identify, and segment all our contacts, the ability to create a database of insurance products and associated commission percentages for quick calculation afterwards. The gateways allowing us to have a quick overview of our clients' investments. All the available automations and not to mention the infinite report creation available.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

A lesson rather than discontent: Many trainings are available about CRM. Make the effort to go through them. Some programs had to be redone from scratch because the appropriate fields were not properly selected, which caused problems in report creation. Follow the trainings, it will save you time and effort later.

**What problems is Equisoft/connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Equisoft requires identification to access it. Since all our clients' confidential data can be saved there, it fulfills a compliance obligation, namely to securely preserve our clients' documents. Moreover, it frees up space on our side, both physical and digital. The reports that allow us to assess the progress of our organization are very practical. The possible segmentation of our clientele for future communications, mailing groups, opportunities, definitely makes the task more pleasant for us.

**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

I use follow-up tasks to keep a close track of my clients. It is very easy to link a task to a contact as well as to different products (insurance policy or investment plan). So everything is synchronized together and it is very easy to see the history of communications, appointments, or tasks completed for clients. They have a huge help section to guide us and several training videos to help explore and take advantage of the different aspects of the software.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

The possibilities with the software are very vast and I feel like I'm only taking advantage of a tiny part of the potential of the management software. I still have a long way to go and training videos to watch!

**What problems is Equisoft/connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize all my clients' contact information, keep the history of my follow-ups and notes from my appointments. Makes me much more efficient in my productivity and allows me to not miss any follow-up.

It helps us organize our work and see everything going on in our business.  Everything is tied to the contact ( client) and is linked to our emails, so we leave a trace of everything we do with clients with the most details.  Equisoft makes our business better.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

The interface could be better looking to the eye and somewhat modernized, but it is not a dealbreaker.

**What problems is Equisoft/connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the fact that we need to leave a trace of everything we do with clients. It is very important in our business to do so for legal reasons. Equisoft makes it a lot easier to manage.

**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

First, I have been supported from the outset.  Throughout the process, I was notified of the progress of my project.  The trainings are numerous and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

For now, very little negative point.  I would like the access security to be with two identifiers. Ex. password and text message on cell phone.  It has been confirmed to me that this procedure will be put in place soon.

customer transfer with the new CRM.  Everything was done according to my expectations

Very user-friendly, easy to create folders and archive documents. There is direct online support, as well as documents that can guide us towards new possibilities that we have not yet used.

Nothing unpleasant to say! I am very satisfied!

The ability to group and associate all conversations, communications, and documentation with a client. To note, to share with other users of the group system, the reports on a file.

**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

Simple, advisor centric. The data migration offered by the company was great. Not clumsy like so many systems. The service from the company is responsive and helpful

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

Not thrilled with the subscription price increase after the first year, don't feel my office should pay for two full subscriptions-one for me and one for my administrator.

An easy system to implement. Other systems needed to be programmed and customized at considerable cost and aggrivation. We wanted something 'plug and play'. We now have a simple CRM system for our practice with great technical support should we need it.

The possibilities of the system seem limitless as long as one takes the time to make the entries. Mutual fund gateway gives mixed results.

Information on meetings, calls, and correspondence kept and protected. Easy to trace discussions and dates.

Wish you could track growth of AUM over a greater length of time.

Everything!!! Managing my clients, tasks, group emails, the multiple possible reports...

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

To date, I have nothing negative to say, everything is perfect for me.

The service is quick when there is a problem, we are taken care of promptly. I had some email connection issues but everything was resolved quickly with excellent service.

**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

Equisoft Connect is the best CRM and planning tool for Life Insurance advisors. The ability to link activities, clients, policies, documents, mileage and opportunities is fantastic. Equisoft gave me the ability to become truly paperless.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

The program has features that are not advertised or known. For example, I have discovered a mileage-tracking ability.

**What problems is Equisoft/connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get up-to-date investment summaries for clients without going to every provider's website for the information.
I can stay in control of new business with the Opportunities module. The Opportunities funnel shows at a glance where I am.
Retirement analysis is now easy.
Portfolio statements are easy to produce.
Documents can be linked to several clients.
The history is all there. Record keeping became easy.

Possibility to enter a multitude of information or databases. Very powerful tools to make queries and create reports in order to analyze the data.

The presentation of the screens for data entry is not very "user friendly."

When I have a problem, equisoft always resolves it very quickly.

Great all in one CRM solution with full integration for calendar and em-mail.

Not enough automation and intuitiveness for a modern CRM. Also a lack of training and responsiveness from customer service.

The CRM is very powerfull. I can't see any downside.

Equisoft is great for keeping track of our clients and their investment and insurance accounts with us! We use it exclusively to track the activities of our clients and our staff members. Equisoft helps us to be well organized and to take great care of our clients.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

We have been pleased with Equisoft and its functionality. We can send a service ticket to Equisoft if we are experiencing any difficulties and the service team has been great at taking care of our needs.

Equisoft is crucial to our daily business. We use it to correspond with each other and with our clients. We can link our correspondence with our clients to our client files, which is so important, as communication is key to our success!

**What do you like best about Equisoft/connect?**

The calendar. It tracks appointments under contact names. The task tracker is great for maintaining follow-ups. It also stores documents for compliance purposes. The software was built by a true financial advisor. It covers all areas of tracking and it is great for compliance as well as remembering information from a client meeting.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

Only one small thing. There is no area for Contingent Beneficiaries.  There should be a drop-down for Primary and Secondary Beneficiaries in the beneficiary area.

Equisoft always gets back to me quickly with issues and answers my questions through the help center.  Great training information on the website. The software is user-friendly.

Logging communications with my contacts. Linking other related contacts to each other. Phone call recordings. Custumizable pdf forms to my data.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

The viewing format. I'm used t  on office outlook format. It would be nice if it resembles it. Not crazy on the email format. Much prefer the MS outlook format.

Gets the job done efficiently and quickly without any hassle. It's user interface looks stunning and offers ease while using the app. The features arr eay to understand for first time users.

There is nothing I dislike maybe the customer service could be better. Also the price point can be modified I personally found it on the pricier side. Otherwise no cons

I would like to be able to switch from English to French by using a simple button without going to setup.

Data feed from my mutual fund dealer (not Equisoft's fault).

The ability to import from insurers and Mutual Fund Dealers. Note taking section is great.

**What do you dislike about Equisoft/connect?**

Constant duplication of information, gateways are not importing information correctly. Many of the features that are supposed to make our lives easier just are not there yet.

Simplified source to view all client data. Appointment/call reminders. Task tracking. Those things have helped us for sure.

I have used another CRM, this one is just far more capable

there is no Two facto authentication an essential in this day and age

getting used to integrating my practice with a junior advisor it is allowing us to see a lot more of what each other are doing and keep up to date
