**What do you like best about Epoch?**

I love how easy Epoch makes it to manage ERGs and plan virtual and in-person events. The platform is really intuitive, from creating events to tracking RSVPs and engagement, everything stays streamlined and organized. 

One of my favorite features is how well it integrates with Slack. When an employee joins a Slack channel, they’re automatically added as a member in Epoch, which makes management effortless. We've also always struggled with reporting and analytics with previous platforms, but Epoch's reporting and feedback form is top-notch. The customer support team is also super helpful and engaging. Overall, Epoch has saved our team a lot of time and made it so much easier to manage our ERG programs all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

There’s not much to dislike, but if I had to pick something, the reminders within events that have multiple sessions can be a little tricky to navigate at times. That said, the Epoch team is super responsive to feedback and constantly improving the platform for everyone!

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epoch has made it so much easier to manage our ERG programming and company events in one centralized platform. Before, tracking attendance, engagement, event logistics, and reporting across different tools was time-consuming and scattered. Now, everything from event creation to communication is streamlined in one platform, with integration to Slack. It has helped boost employee engaagement by making it simple for people to discover and join ERGs and events that interest them.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

Our company has a lot of events happening all the time and there was a alot of confusion on how to figure out what was going on and when. Epoch takes care of that by having all events in one place. It's integration with slack and gmail makes things even easier. Now employees are able to find out about events, attend, and provide feedback with minimal effort. 

We have been able to use Epoch for events that you might not typically think of such a ongoing training courses and onboarding. 

The customer support at Epoch is great. From ease of implementation to day to day support we can always count on them.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

Like any new product, there is always room for added features. One that we have been looking forward to re-occuring events. Epoch is always adding new features though, which is great to see!

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epoch simplifies the expereicne for employees. From finding events, to RSVPing, to providing feedback for future events.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

As Zynga navigated being fully remote during the pandemic, we found that EX programming had a lot of friction surrounding every event. We struggled with creating events in consistent ways, addressing calendar overlaps and cross-programming debacles, advertising and collecting RSVPs, and intergrating EX event comms into Slack. Epoch solved all of this for us in one go-live! With Epoch online, we were able to reduce the management burden for everyone who drove EX during this particularly volatile and uncertain time in the company's history. The Epoch CX team were super responsive and implementation was pretty painless, compared to other elements of the HR tech stack. 

One of the biggest wins was for our ERG leaders, who served as an integral part of our global scale and  relevance strategy. These volunteer leaders immediately breathed a sign of relief when they could see a common calendar, create events that were cross-listed with other ERGs, advertise seamlessly through Slack, and collect RSVPs without friction! Between our EX teams, ERGs, and future of work team, Epoch utilization was through the roof, almost right from the start. Huge win for HR, the employees at large, and for Zynga at a time when EX mattered immensely to our shareholders.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

All of our expectations were met during our implementation of Epoch. No complaints!

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epoch solves for ERG efficiency, comms efficiency, increased engagement for remote team members, analytics tied directly to events, and reducing overlapping/counter programming efforts.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

We did not have an employee events platform prior to Epoch. Having a single place to communicate about all the cool events teams were hosting was super helpful. I used Epoch primarily for employee resource group (ERG) events. The built-in templates and surveys made it easy to promote initiatives and increase engagement while getting valuable feedback for future events.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

Our organization was large (5000+), and we weren't able to invite the entire company to our events. We asked for several features on the roadmap, including the ability to create recurring calendar invitations. This made it such that certain events were unable to be captured in Epoch. Sometimes people continued to use google calendar because Epoch didn't serve their needs.

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epoch captures data on employee events all in one place, and I was able to ask for a custom aggregate report. By incorporating this information directly into quarterly executive reports, I am able to demonstrate the impact of the program I manage. The platform also integartes well with our existing tools like Google Calendar, Zoom, and Slack.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

I learned about Epoch through a friend's invite to their Employee Experience conference. The conference was so insightful, inspiring, and fun, and other attendees had such great things to say about the product that I decided to do a demo! Based on the demo, the reporting features seems to be the most impactful aspect of the product. Having data to justify why certain events or programs are impactful to employees engagement is invaluable, and helps back up request for additional budget for these type of things.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

It sounds like the team is already aware, but it seems like this platform has the ability to go beyond internal communications and internal events. It would be amazing if they had a future for employee gifting and recognition as well!

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It seems like it would greatly help to streamline communications, and get better response rates to event invites! Which is something our team struggles with, getting accurate headcount for certain events when people just decide not to respond to invites all together

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

Epoch is a very direct tool. The ease of exploration and navigation make for a seamless user and admin experience.

Epoch is adaptable. Even when features are not made readily available, there is usually a workaround to get the job done.

Customer support has been efficient. The ongoing check-ins are beneficial and feel like a true partnership.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

More integration with Google Calendar would be a huge plus. At present there is no way to create a Google Calendar meeting link within a calendar event itself. In addition some of the more advanced features are not compatible within GCal such as a questionaire. 

Not being able to indicate the attendance modality of an invitee within Epoch can be a challenge, especially when it comes to having an accurate pulse on the metrics. 

As an admin, not being able to make modifications to a user's response, and having to reopen or ask a user to do so on their end, can be time consuming.

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epoch is solving efficiency. It is allowing for an organized one-stop-shop for all of our org-wide and ERG events.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

Simple design with very straight forward UI. This system allowed us to manage and maintain events with ease, as well as allowed us to customize based off of what worked best for us.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

There were a few issues with notifying employees when changing scheduling. I believe there is a feature to disselect when it comes to notifying employees. It's important to keep an eye out for these features so not to confuse attendees.

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utlized Epoch as an alternative LMS Solution. The ease of use allowed for users to enroll into needed courses as well as ease of tracking attendees. It allowed for SSO users to enroll as well, which assisted in security needs.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

I love the relationship that we have with Epoch. A downside to a lot of event platforms is customer service and with Epoch they are always there with a friendly smile to help answer any questions or resolve any issues. It's a great platform that allows you to do it all! From fully customing event invites to in person check-ins and detailed metrics; they have you covered. The platform itself is super user friendly and easy to use! Working with Megan Dietrich has been amazing!!! I would reccomend to anyone looking for a all in one events platform!

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

There is not much that I dislike about Epoch! Our outlook integration was a little bumpy but that was also due to our companies policies and procedures!

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Specifically for our company they are solving our issue of spaming employees inboxes with a million event invites. Having Epoch allows us to let the employees opt into which events they would like to get information and calendar alerts for.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

I love the simplicity of the platform and how user friendly it is. Also love the creative look and feel of the events once published! Customer support team is on point and answers to my questions have always been answered in light speed!

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

There were few times when features that worked perfectly starts to have issues and I wasnt aware until events are published as this causes a bit of a confusion as a creator + receiver.

keeping event details in one platform that can be used to publish in different resources. This really does take many steps away and in return I save so much time

-Ease of use for Admins on their platforms
-Accessibility to the Epoch team for help, questions, feedback
-Epoch's help deciphering our data with QBR's and monthly reporting
-Being able to communicate with Epoch through email and Slack
-Quick responses from the Epoch team, even if it's just an update

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

-Understanding the impact of invites/notifications on end users, depending on which options we choose
-Knowing whether Epoch data is comprehensive (how is it including the Zoom data, what isn't captured for the in-person events)
-No calendar view of everything

The question didn't have drop down options besides "other HR" so just selected that.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

Epoch enabled the my team to host 30+ events in one month allowing all employees visibility and easy access to attend.  Through the Epoch platform we were able to easily customize each meeting for the session speakers such as inviting external people, adding session descriptions, setting reminders. A great feature that we took full advantage of was the feedback survey after the meeting. Great tool for these types of events!

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

Removing an event from epoch was initially difficult but once I knew how to do do it, it was smooth sailing!

I absolutely appreciate the ease of adding events, the Epoch team's willingness to partner with clients on innovative employee engagement features, and tracking data easier.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

It's a new platform, so I understand baseline functionalities need to be added. I was a bit shocked when I found out the multi-day event was a new feature recently.

Real-time data and quantifying impact of employee engagement programs on various HR functions.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

With Google Calendar as our primary scheduling system, Epoch integrates seamlessly. Updates to event invitations are instantaneous. But what provides the most value for us is the integration with Slack, which aligns well with our company culture. Our employees appreciate receiving reminders in a way that feels more personal than a random system email. The design of Epoch is intuitive and it was adopted very quickly by employees after implementation.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

The survey features are a bit limited, and there currently is no way to connect events together as part of a series (i.e., part 1, 2, and 3 that should be attended sequentially). However, the Epoch team has been highly receptive to feedback and I have seen them implement features based on client needs in our time working with them.

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Epoch we had to manage registration of events manually with Google forms, which was a huge administrative burden. We were also sending email reminders manually which were often ignored. Epoch solves for this by automating reminders through Slack and email, and allows learners to easily self-manage their RSVP (cancel, find a new session, join a waitlist, etc.)

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

Epoch is a really great resource to share information about upcoming internal events. Creating the events in the dashboard is super intuitive and the integration with Google Calendar makes it very easy to post invites. The team at Epoch is attentive and always offers amazing customer service and thorough troubleshooting. They are always open to feedback and often implement features that are important to us.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

Epoch is always improving their platform and offering new features! So this may not apply in the future, but one change we would like to see would be around the feedback surveys. Currently, the surveys are available through a convenient Slackbot. We often like to send follow up emails or other comms after events, and would love to have the option to link out to the form outside of Slack.

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epoch has become a source of truth, so our employees always know where to go to find out about upcoming events. It is great to be able to categorize events in different ways so that a variety of teams (Events, Learning and Development, DIB, etc.) can go in and own the events they are hosting, including invites to certain groups of people. Google calendar integration saves us a lot of time, ensuring that the right people are invited to each event even if they don't go on our Epoch homepage. On top of the product itself, I love the community of other HR and events folks that Epoch has cultivated.

**What do you like best about Epoch?**

We have GCal as THE centralized calendar for anything under the Instacart umbrella. So, I appreciate that we have a tool like Epoch that reduces meeting calendar noise, and is tailored to how end-users and admins want to see events.

**What do you dislike about Epoch?**

Outside of event details and having a high level overview of what's happening at the company, I feel there is an opportunity to integrate this with other tools. For example, I would love to see a simple integration with our Instacart-owned and operated employee directory tool.

**What problems is Epoch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a company calendar resource as part of our GSuite. However, there isn't a one-stop shop owned by multiple admins across employee populations and departments where event details and high-level overviews across the company are easily enabled.  Epoch allows us flexibility in events management and to empower others to get involved and create event tiles, too.
