  ### 12. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Review: "Are AI and Outlook Integration your Primary Concerns? Here's the Pro

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan D. | Alumni Relations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Having options for both cloud and on-premise solutions. Some clients, especially government contracts do not allow cloud-based solutions and must have on-premise. However, for most the cloud is the better option.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Customization is tricky with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Javascript is primarily used, and due to this most business edition users keep their solution as "out of the box" as possible to save time and cost

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, the commercial commodity sales, residential commodity, and equipment sales side of our business are using the product. We're using it as two tenants integrating with our backbone ERP for real-time data.

It addresses the sales side of our organization and provides data on opportunities, in addition to prospect and customer communication.

  ### 13. A Dynamic CRM for sales that pairs nicely with Office 365

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Dynamics CRM is a easy to use cloud based CRM that integrates with many of the other Office 365 tools and Apps offered By Microsoft. The system is ready to go out of the box but is also highly customizable. You can pretty much make it do almost anything you want it to.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Sometimes updates can break the system. You are limited to front end modifications unlike internal systems that use SQL. It is very expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

If you are heavily invest in other microsoft cloud apps and tools, and want a CRM that will integrate seamlessly, this would make a good choice.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a CRM that could be customized to suit our business process and could grow with us.

  ### 14. Well-integrated CRM software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar S. | Temporary EDI Coordinator, Italy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I liked the sales tool in prospecting leads and create pipeline

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Scarse reporting tool, plus a technical consultant is required for rolling up

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead generation and prospecting.

  ### 15. Great Product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I am able to have everything synced up. As long as everything is updated Outlook works the best with all of the other products for one price.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Nothing much to dislike. Very useful and helpful when it comes to doing a lot of tasks at once and staying organized.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time Management, Task prioritization

  ### 16. Pretty robust for a web-based software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Dynamics has a great email marketing campaign that allows tracking via Outlook desktop as well. The detailed metrics that can be customized for each user group and type allow perfect control of the named users to avoid duplication and miscommunications, which always cause Customer Service disconnects.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Entry fields do not consistently autosave the information entered, which causes frustration for users and some redundancy. The number of variables available and the customizable fields make it easy to create categories that are very specific to the targeted markets. Intuitive save features would be a huge plus.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

Know the licensing requirements from your vendor/reseller before committing to any time or resources. We were unable to transition to full usage because the package we were promised was not actually available to be sold as we were originally told.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization is growing at a rapid pace. While we have traditionally relied upon the road warriors to bring in contracts and prospect new business, it is no longer a cost effective method of reaching out to customers. With Dynamics 365, we can customize our marketing efforts to utilize technology and tweak messaging with the personal touches our customers expect.

  ### 17. Absolutely necessary

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Absolutely necessary to identify the needs of potential customers, I think the price per month is more than fair

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Ok for medium or small companies but probably not enough for small companies

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

Quite affordable so you dont have anything to lose, if you try it you will probably keep it as an everyday tool

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not solving problems really but its really helping us to understand what the clients need, what can we offer, and finding more potential customers

  ### 18. Great product option for businesses that require high configuration and customization.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle M. | Logistics Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Easy to sign on and set up.
You are able to manipulate all data to your desired view and information needed.
Easy to track, view and follow up on customer data.
Sustains all functions of business.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Mobile application is not user friendly, crashes and very limited to what you can do.
User should be able to do most of what is possible in PC on the mobile device.
CRM is not very user friendly to beginners.or new users.
Slow af saving data due to cloud based service.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Dynamics CRM allows business to manage their customers and contacts in a single application with real time data. Specialized training is not required, however recommendations for more advanced integrations.

  ### 20. We use Microsoft Dynamics every day and it works well.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline S. | Group Exercise Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2018

I like that it compiles client information and allows the tracking of emails, phone calls, tasks, and notes, and allows me to set reminders and schedule activities.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I dislike that it seems to run slow multiple times during the day.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I enjoy the fluidity of the program. It is very easy to access the multiple programs when away from your work computer as well your mobile phone.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It is a bit confusing at times. Such as with signing in you must use the official employee number @mgmresorts email, when I infact use the more simpler escoggins

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Can’t say I have solved many problems so much with it but it is decently easy to use and I have enjoyed that aspect

  ### 22. Dynamics365 for Aussie Field Sales

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gus M. | Dynamics365 Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

All modern CRMs fundamentally provide the same functionality, however, Dynamics is an absolute standout as it works within Outlook. I utilise it everyday as a Dynamics consultant and know that like most sales people we are resistant of doing anything that requires additional effort! Its nice that sales people do not have to choose to use a different system to manage activities; they just keep using Outlook email and calendar, Dynamics manages it all for you

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Dynamics 365 is a huge platform solution and there are many ways to implement and some features are just not intuitive such as enabling the Outlook connection. The form editor is not very user-friendly compared to other systems and dashboards although visually appealing are not very useful for field salespeople. These and other reasons are why I began AusDynamics365.com.au specifically for field sales as there needed to be a stripped back and specific offering for field sales with a rapid start - out of the box configuration.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

Dynamics is a fabulous business platform that will be an invaluable asset to your organisation. The key is defining what you are hoping to achieve with implementing this system and choosing the right partner that can guide and challenge you to ensure the outcome is met. I am happy to provide some overview of many successful implementations over 10 years, drop me a line at contact@ausdynamics365.com.au

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In field sales many organisations find each sales person has their own way or style in getting business through the door. The 80 / 20 rule applies in this industry where top salespeople bring in most of the business whilst the average to struggling field reps make up the rest. Dynamics provides the ability to replicate some of the effective processes the top salespeople use and assist the less performing reps with identifying real opportunities and nurturing the ones that are not ready to buy. The field sales manager finally has a holistic view of all sales team activities and can quickly identify areas that require attention due to lack of activity, neglected accounts, pipeline forecasting and close probability to report to delivery managers.

  ### 23. Really good CRM software, I'd suggest it to any company

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel L. | Software specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The software is really well done, the module is easily customizable and the code is up to date with today's standard

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

There still might be some things not functioning properly.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really helps me manage in easy way the relationship with the customers/businesses

  ### 24. Great concepts, especially when Sales Insights A.I. is fully realized

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The potential for an Intelligent CRM is there. It just needs to be fully realized as a cultural-emotional intelligent relationship tool

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The prices is quite high per user + the sales insights A.I. is far from specific relationship accuracies

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working with Microsoft to improve their A.I.
* relationship personalization from sparse inputs, not big
* cultural-emotional intelligence at each relationship step
* multi-modal identity from documents + audio, video and smart edge sensors

  ### 25. Easy Customer Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Everything is very clear which is rare to find in any software

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Take your time to go through everything, it will help you later

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It had all the features that you are looking for in a CRM

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It can be very confusing at times, and not streamlined enough for a novice.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tracking customer reports, clients information and having it all in once place for ease of access.

  ### 27. Mixed Bag of usefulness

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I really enjoy how easy it is to use this program and that i can focus on using its features instead of constantly teaching others how to use it. When new sales reps are onboarded and begin to use the program that can navigate and figure out the basics on their own. when it gets down into the reporting level data and turning everything in to charts is when they typically have more issues. It is convenient to use to search through an array of data we have national wide on any customer or potential customers.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It may just be the version out company purchased, or preferred but it is extremely difficult to update the existing data due to all of the locked fields. for example we need to update the DBA (doing business as) name on an account because it changed hands we have no option to update. Instead we have to create a new entry at that address and have duplicate information/old information that is no longer relevant.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we had each area of the company using many different systems of reporting and seeking out information on new customers. Now we all use the same unifying system nation wide and can roll information up or down to focus on opportunity.

  ### 29. D365 Is Taking Over

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The integration between Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft offering of products is incredible. For a CRM, it is often harder to integrate with other business applications, but with D365 a lot of the connections to other products are present out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Compared to competitors, the look and feel of D365 feels a bit old. For a CRM developer, the solution explorer is also a tad bit old fashioned; however, Microsoft has been rolling out UI updates which are improving that issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

Perhaps the most attractive piece of using D365 is the incredible functionality that can be added if you also use other Microsoft solutions. Whether it is Outlook, OneNote or even a PowerApp, the ever growing list of features you can add to your Dynamics solution is impressive. Microsoft has tons of resources for adding additional features to D365 for Sales, and that shouldn't be taken lightly. **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The strongest point of the Microsoft CRM is the integration into MS Office products. For primary desktop users that will be using Outlook and Office, the integrated options are big plus.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

There was no mobile option. If there was, it was very limited. If you have field sales contributing to the CRM, this is a challenge on the road when you need to boot a laptop to use it. this reduces the likelihood of people adding post sales call feedback.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

If mobile use is a priority, Microsoft Dynamics is no the right choice.

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I'm the CO/Owner of A Little Touch Of Soul, INC. & handle all the marketing aspects of the business & I Found this product a little costly if it's Microsoft based I'm going to use it if I haven't already as I'm a major Fan of Microsoft & this product is just a little out there costly, inexeffective yet simulating.

  ### 41. Easy to use and understand

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

With most of my prior experience in CRM rooted into SalesForce I was apprehensive when I discovered my new sales role would require me to learn Microsoft Dynamics. Surprisingly I have found it very easy to understand and navigate with a nice User Interface that keeps me from getting lost when looking for records and specific accounts. With great easy to access analytics I have enjoyed learning more about this CRM and using it in my day to day outreach to my prospects.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Creating new custom views was a challenge to learn at first but it has become easier the more I do it.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping an accurate record of accounts and prospect interactions. Logging calls metrics, activities, and notes.

  ### 42. Easy to learn, difficult to navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I like how Microsoft dynamics pulls real time information from news sources, company websites, social media outlets, etc. to give you more insight into a company right away.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

I wish it was more intuitive and the views were more user friendly. Example - there are only so many ways to record a touchpoint with a client, so you have to choose the one you think fits best even if it doesn't make sense. Recording if you sent a gift to a client is hard.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier for everyone on the pursuit team to be on the same page and understand our clients better.

  ### 43. Lots of Potential

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco A. | Aftermarket Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The possibility of having everything in real time.
Dynamics permits you to have all different departments connected up to the point of dispatch to the customer. It is impressive what it can do

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Dynamics falls shorts in the repetitive screens. It does not permit the possibility to just flow immediately from sales order to purchase order. It is very picky with inventory adjustments which makes it difficult when needing to make changes.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

It will be one program for all your company needs. Just be aware that a lot of duplicate windows are in place unnecessarily and once you make a change or process an order. It is a hassle to reverse.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the software that is primarily used. Everything in one place is the convenience. Report are impressive. Very detailed.

  ### 44. CRM User Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay E. | Graphics Coordinator, Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

CRM allows you to input sales data all in one place. My favorite feature is connecting with Sharepoint, where now you not only have the sales data, but one place to keep documents and be able to collaborate as a team on one platform.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It can be a little confusing at first, but once you learn the software, it is extremely helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

It is a great tool for data and collaboration.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The significant collaboration aspect. You are able to keep track of important sales data while also being able to house documents that the entire team can collaborate on at once.

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It’s an easy to use platform and intuitive to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The desktop browser interface does feel somewhat slower than other CRMs I’ve used. Navigating with the back button reloads everything.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use global client management. Easy to find information on customers and service calls

  ### 47. Very nice service

  ### 49. Excellent software!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Ann B. | Realtor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Microsoft Dynamics is easy to install, set-up, and start using. This CRM design allows organize all clients by categories and allow file access too which is really good. This application is great not only for a sales perspective, but also a service and marketing aspect. Really help us organize the details.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

The price for the software is quite too high, other than that all is good.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

This program is very organized, allows you to manage the planning of your business resources and customer relationship management.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a structured, organized and defined program that any company can use and implement. Really help us manage things on a more professional level.

  ### 50. Worthy investment for larger companies

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karlis N. | Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

It has almost unlimited functionality and extensibility. Should satisfy most organizations. It can also be used for non-standard CRM processes and the new version has a bunch of apps that allow company to use specific workflows by paying only for them and not purchasing the entire suite.
Also we can recommend sticking to standard processes and not deviating.

**What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Sales?**

Can be heavy for smaller companies or companies with simple processes. Be careful with customization as they can prevent migration or even break the system in many cases.

**Recommendations to others considering Dynamics 365 Sales:**

Do some testing and see in maybe some smaller lightweight CRMs can do what is required with fraction of the price and easier implementation.

**What problems is Dynamics 365 Sales solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client and opportunity tracking, budgeting, forecasting. Order management and Sales quota fulfillment tracking by orders submitted to CRM for support staff to invoice to customers.
