Dreamhost is a great entry level hosting company. If you're looking for top of the line features, they're not your goto but if you're just starting out and need to get a website online, the price is right, the hosting is solid and they even offer their plans as monthly packages. Where some providers charge for bits and pieces (extras for email, extras for this and that) Dreamhost includes them as part of your package, so you don't need to shell out additional cash. The hosting interface is easy to use and it's simple to find the different features that you need. Their customer support is top notch. I've never had a problem that they wouldn't help me with within a hour or two.
