"A Great Entry Level Host"

What do you like best about DreamHost?

Dreamhost is a great entry level hosting company. If you're looking for top of the line features, they're not your goto but if you're just starting out and need to get a website online, the price is right, the hosting is solid and they even offer their plans as monthly packages. Where some providers charge for bits and pieces (extras for email, extras for this and that) Dreamhost includes them as part of your package, so you don't need to shell out additional cash. The hosting interface is easy to use and it's simple to find the different features that you need. Their customer support is top notch. I've never had a problem that they wouldn't help me with within a hour or two. You can go live with in in about 30 minutes after you purchase so it's easy to implement and easy to integrate as part of your hosting solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DreamHost?

What do you dislike about DreamHost?

Their sales techniques and customer/client account engagment is over promised and under delivered. They LIE when when try to sign you up, and cause issues, when you question them. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR MONEY. Stay away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DreamHost solving and how is that benefiting you?

They sold packages across some of our domains to engage / set up email addresses. They offered us a deal, unlimited email addresses for a fixed monthly fee. We have around 75 domain names, and take security very seriously. We use a number of email addresses depending on location of clients. Hense, we require a large number of email addresses. After we got to 50, we had a problem. Their answer was to stop us. So we moved everything else where, and have had a great experience with the new player. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DREAMHOST TO ANYONE.
