Once you get your head around the interface, it's straightforward to use - the document field editing tools are nice and simple, and formatting is a breeze. The automation support is also great - I tested with both Zapier and Webhooks. We're now using a webhook-based system with Pabbly Connect to file our documents within our company GDrive and send notifications.

Can be a bit unintuitive at first - just spend a few minutes with it! For example, you have to set up a workflow just to get a link to a document form, even if you haven't got much of a "flow" to speak of. I have been using Mail merge in Word for long. And I dreamt of one day to be able to use Mail Merge for PDF files.

And I found DocDown. It's not the best of the world, but it did the job really well and effective.

I can just upload the PDF file, set the fields, specify automation workflows, and click a button - there it is.

I don't know if it is only me, but from time to time I got a bit slow to log in. But once I was in the app, it runs well.

The forms to capture data and signatures are extremely easy to create, and the end-user gets a beautiful side by side form/document view that makes it very professional. I had been looking for a platform that would easily allow me to provide a method for my clients to personalize PDF lead magnets that I was providing for them. Believe it or not, I was doing this by hand for each client. In my opinion, what really makes this program outstanding is just how much flexibility you have. I love the way I can connect it to Zapier, The forms have conditional logic as well. If you take a look at their roadmap you can see that they have big plans for the future of DocDown. The workflow setup required a little more attention and was not as intuitive. As I didn't have time to "figure it out" or "read the help articles," I just abandoned it for the moment as it wasn't necessary for my initial use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our business revolves around filing paperwork to the government and we had a lot of manual processes that we couldn't seem to automate. Docdown has cut down at least 5 minutes on each form saving us hours of manual entry each week. It's freed us up to work on more important and bigger things.
