The automation support is also great - I tested with both Zapier and Webhooks. We're now using a webhook-based system with Pabbly Connect to file our documents within our company GDrive and send notifications. Also the experience for users is simple and effective - it feels fully professional from the get go. **What do you dislike about Docdown?** Can be a bit unintuitive at first - just spend a few minutes with it! For example, you have to set up a workflow just to get a link to a document form, even if you haven't got much of a "flow" to speak of. It really does what it says on the tin, though, and it's great value for money. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to work with partner forms that are print, fill, scan PDFs - yeuch - so we turn them into Docdown forms and automate the filing and emailing around. It saves us a tonne of time, and helps our accuracy too. ### 2. And I dreamt of one day to be able to use Mail Merge for PDF files. And I found DocDown. It's not the best of the world, but it did the job really well and effective. I can just upload the PDF file, set the fields, specify automation workflows, and click a button - there it is. I don't think there could be any app that handle the work that simple. DocDown nails it with a very intuitive interface, and agile work flow. **What do you dislike about Docdown?** I don't know if it is only me, but from time to time I got a bit slow to log in. But once I was in the app, it runs well. It is not difficult to go around and navigate the app, but at first I need to spend sometimes to truly understand how and what, despite they have good guidance. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** DocDown is one of the most effective tool for generating customized contents using PDF templates. It is similar to Mail Merge, but in PDF. And you can select either Online Form creation, or using Webhook. This is super convenient. The workflow is visualized by diagram, and it makes it truly easy to imagine the process - which is a big plus for me. ### 3. Besides that, the platform is very flexible, so you can use API/Webhook to move the data/docs as you need. **What do you dislike about Docdown?** It would be great to have workflow templates; In my case, I just recreated what I had used in other software for digital signatures, but DocDown has a lot more capabilities so that a template would help those of us with low creative abilities **Recommendations to others considering Docdown:** If you want a more flexible and functional digital signature solution, DocDown is an excellent option. I had previously used either too limited solutions or way too complex; this is way better because you have the complexity but with great UI/UX that makes it easy. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having ready-made document templates for my clients and collaborators to fill and sign given specific business processes (quotes, contracts, NDAs, vacation and leaves, etc..) ### 4. It lets you connect with almost any of your favorite third-party apps really easily via Webhooks, Zapier, Integrately, or API! **What do you dislike about Docdown?** I have no complaints! I've asked for word document support, and I got it. I've asked for an Integrately integration, and I got it as well. They keep improving, and I keep getting happier and happier with this software. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** Docdown is helping me saving money. I ended up making a complex onboarding process and the automated document generation and the signing process of that file got made via DocDown... it really is a powerful platform! ### 5. Believe it or not, I was doing this by hand for each client. In my opinion, what really makes this program outstanding is just how much flexibility you have. I love the way I can connect it to Zapier, The forms have conditional logic as well. If you take a look at their roadmap you can see that they have big plans for the future of DocDown. **What do you dislike about Docdown?** I sometimes have problems trying to get the fields positioned just the way that I want. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed a solution to make it easy for my clients to personalize the lead magnets that I created for them. ### 6. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast it took. PROS: - Ease of Use - Integrations (Love Rest API and Webhooks) - Ability to create multiple workflows and automate the document signing process **What do you dislike about Docdown?** The workflow setup required a little more attention and was not as intuitive. As I didn't have time to "figure it out" or "read the help articles," I just abandoned it for the moment as it wasn't necessary for my initial use case. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** The major problem that DocDown solves is the mundane task of online digital signing and also online course completion certificate creation for students. You just set up the workflow once and forget about it. As a one-man show, automation is paramount. Thank you DocDown. ### 7. Docdown has cut down at least 5 minutes on each form saving us hours of manual entry each week. It's freed us up to work on more important and bigger things. **What do you dislike about Docdown?** I think the UI could be improved a bit. Though it's not complicated to use or understand the boxes could be more clearly labeled making it quicker to edit. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** Human error is the biggest problem we avoid by using Docdown. It helps us perfect accuracy and again saves us a lot of time each week. ### 8. Either through forms, API or Webhooks, I can now fill PDFs automatically. **What do you dislike about Docdown?** The signature field is not eIDAS compliant with the advanced signature security level. It would be an excellent addition. **What problems is Docdown solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm building a worflow for real estate documentation that needs to be filled with a lot of duplicate content. Ever since they added the audit trails, I've been even more excited about the product. It has integrations with zapier or, my preferred, konnectzit. It is worth checking out if you have clients sign repetitive documents. ### 12.
