# Which sensitive data discovery platforms have minimal performance impact during scanning and strong support?

The goal is coverage that doesn't slow production systems or leave you waiting on help when something breaks. What we're hoping to find:

Scanning that doesn't drag down production or endpoints

Support that responds fast and actually resolves issues

Setup that doesn't need weeks of tuning

Nightfall AI’s mostly agentless approach is interesting because scanning overhead can become a very different problem once coverage expands across more systems. I’d want to understand performance during the initial discovery scan versus ongoing monitoring, since those workloads can behave quite differently. Have teams seen resource usage stay consistent as the amount of data being monitored grows?
