What do you like best about CXL?

CXL delivers the most practical, in-depth marketing training I’ve come across—built by pros. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

The quality of the instructors is outstanding. The content is focused, actionable, and immediately applicable to real-world projects. I especially appreciate how the courses go beyond theory and into the details that really matter (like ad creative breakdowns, analytics implementation, and actual frameworks). The structure of the minidegrees makes it easy to build deep expertise in a short time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CXL: The Ultimate Resource for Deep, Technical Learning"
What do you like best about CXL?

With two decades in my career, I rely on CXL for unparalleled, high-quality learning and insights. The content here is unmatched—expert-led, detailed, and focused on what truly matters. CXL features the industry’s best minds, like Simo Ahava, Andy Crestodina, Logan Bryant, Peep Laja, Fred Pike, and Neal Cole—professionals I admire and trust. This is exactly who I want to learn from. Unlike other courses that often feel padded with fluff, CXL dives straight into the technical details, delivering actionable knowledge that keeps me ahead in my field. Simply put, CXL sets the standard for professional education. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

First world problem: I can’t download the courses to binge on a flight. Seven hours in the air, and I could crush a ton of learning! C’mon, CXL, help me turn airplane mode into productivity mode! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great and detailed information!"
What do you like best about CXL?

All courses I've done are very detailed and easy to understand. The quizzes I took were also clear and, if you are attentive to the courses, they are easy to answer. On the other hand, customer support was great when I needed to download an older certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

Some of the courses are outdated, but they are still required and available to pass mini-degrees. Not a big issue, as I was able to download the certifications after reaching out to customer support. But it worsts keeping it clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brilliant platform for learning"
What do you like best about CXL?

I’ve had an outstanding experience with the CXL platform, completing courses like A/B Testing Mastery, People & Psychology, Principles of Persuasive Design, and Cognitive Biases. The courses are incredibly in-depth and detailed, providing a wealth of knowledge that has greatly enriched my understanding of these topics.

One of the standout features of CXL is its course structure. The mix of text, video content, and abundant additional resources—such as TED Talks and reading materials—made learning both engaging and comprehensive. I especially appreciated the mini-tests between topics, which helped me solidify my knowledge as I progressed.

The platform’s design and presentation are excellent, making it a joy to use. I highly recommend CXL to anyone looking to upgrade their skills, whether for professional growth or personal development. I’ll definitely continue using CXL for future learning! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

CXL could enhance the learning experience by incorporating more tests or quizzes between topics across all courses. While some courses included these (Psychology ones) ensuring consistent opportunities to check progress would further support knowledge retention and engagement. "If you want to take your marketing to the next level, this is for you"
What do you like best about CXL?

I genuinely love CXL and found their courses to be game-changers, especially the technical ones. Everything from SEO and analytics to brand strategy will give you an edge over your colleagues and get you ahead of the curve.

What I love most is their approach to creating well-rounded marketers. They're not just throwing random courses at you - they're helping professionals develop deep expertise in all marketing areas. It's definitely a must for anyone serious about growing their digital marketing skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

Some of the courses don't get updated quickly, but I can understand why. The sheer number of courses means they probably always have their hands full updating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great course for both new and career professionals"
What do you like best about CXL?

- I like that there are plenty of video lessons

- Lesson slides are available to download and keep

- A very impressive amount of topics covered from introductory courses to advanced career professional topics

- I like that there are recommendations for best in class documents to start CRO programmes in your company

- I like the opportunity to pay by month Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

- Some of the documents mentioned in the lessons aren't directly provided via link/download so you have to manually create them yourself which feels a bit of duplication of work if they already exist somewhere

- There's a lot of content (which is great) however as a working professional it's likely to take me 6 months worth of subscription to complete. Can start getting pricey especially if you are self funding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Community Building Course"
What do you like best about CXL?

The flexibility; the help from support in proposing courses, the time displayed for each course; the modularity, the extra resources, the transcript & handout available.

The teacher herself was very charismatic, and the course sctipt felt natural and very relevant. They referred to their experience a lot which made theory easier to put in practice Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

The catalog of courses is large, but the way they are displayed and the information on each course's learning objectives lack organization.

I was unaware I could pause my membership until it was too late, which was frustrating.

It would be better to be able to click on the link for downloadable resources and that it directly downloads on your computer; for me, I tried doing that, but it kept sending me to Google Drive or other links. Having it directly downloaded on my computer makes it easier to use and makes sure that I will have access to the resource and it is directly on my computer.

Additionally from my understanding you could do a skills assessment to know which courses might be the best fit for you - Although I think it is a great idea, I did not see it anywhere or was not nudge to take that step, which is a shame because I think it would've been valuable. So, great that they have it but not visible enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
