We love playing the games at our monthly Social. So having a deeper library of games to choose from would be great. **What problems is CultureBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the past we have struggled to incorporate socializing and getting to know your fellow co-workers in a fun and engaging manner. Before Culturebot, it always felt like people were too busy to particpate in any extra -curriculars and CultureBot makes it easy for people to respond to Slack messages - which is a tool we are already in seemingly all day. ### 2. I would especially recommend it for their customer care, everything from setup to updates & catchups about updates - they are so highly dedicated to growing and developing their product, it's truly remarkable. Oh and they don't just update; they're interested in how you use each feature - so they themselves understand their product better and better. And I really appreciate the fact that there's more ways than one to set up different features to make them work best for your company. We currently mainly use the birthdays feature, some watercooler & trivia, and surveys. And let me tell you, setting up surveyss/polls is a breeze! The data compilation /presentation is spot-on, making it easy to track and analyze feedback. **What do you dislike about CultureBot?** Only gripe? Trivia is live-only, but hey, nobody's perfect. But I'm pretty sure they're working on it ;) **What problems is CultureBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Birthdays - it gathers (or asks) all the birthdays and sends out birthday wishes with a funny GIF each time so no one is left out and no one has to manually track birthdays+write messages :) Different types of quick surveys - want to gather quick feedback - it's doable on slack with culturebot. Our teams spend most of their time on Slack, so being able to add fun and engaging features directly into their day to day increases engagemement, and helps turn Slack into a more fun, social space, rather than one focused purely on work. They also have a fantastic product roadmap, and are extremely perceptive to customer feedback and suggestions, not only for the product itself, but also the broader hybrid and remote working space. Finally, the custom options are great for us, as we can add in tailored content for our company and our peers, and really reinforce the culture and engagement we want to see. **What do you dislike about CultureBot?** We've not found any downsides yet! We're always keen for more metrics on user experience and engagement, so any additional data on the team's feature engagement over time would be a huge help. **What problems is CultureBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a challenge with user engagement, and re-building company culture after periods of remote and hybrid working. We're also a very busy team so manual culture and HR processes like birthday or anniversary reminders can be neglected. Culturebot helps create spaces for fun and connection during the workday, many of which have been lost in the shift to remote work, as well as automate a lot of the bulky manual work. ### 7. After looking at lots of different culture apps/bots for SLACK, there were 3 main features we decided we wanted: - water cooler topics - employee shoutouts - birthday/work anniversary messages Culture Bot was the only app that did all 3 of these things to a high level. Importantly, after testing the bot and then letting the team know that we wanted the ability to show dates in Australia format (DD-MM-YYYY instead of MM-DD-YYYY), it was implemented just a few days later! Matt again then followed up after our trial and wanted genuine feedback on improving the bot, so I can only expect it to keep getting better. **What do you dislike about CultureBot?** Only feature missing right now is the ability to add custom icons/images to our employee shout outs, which the team says they are working on adding this in also. **What problems is CultureBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making sure employees feel recognised and appreciated! ### 19. First off, CultureBot is all inside of Slack, which is barely the case with the other tools -- the other tools have both a slack app and web app where the web app is used to actually configure the tool and set it up. CultureBot setup is quick and easy because of this, if you know how to use Slack you can setup CultureBot in what is likely 5-10 mins tops. CultureBot is also thoughtfully organized by "celebration" features (like birthday and work anniversaries), "engagement" features (like appreciation shoutouts and health tips) and lastly "team games" like trivia. We have been surprised by just how positively CultureBot has affected our team engagement in a matter of days. We even had one employee mention that it "made his day" with one of the appreciation shoutouts. **What do you dislike about CultureBot?** We haven't found anything we haven't liked so far. **What problems is CultureBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Remote team engagement and appreciation i would say are the 2 big ones. ### 23. It's a one-stop app for all things culture. It allows for easy automation of birthdays, anniversaries and other culture related activities. It takes the pain out of manually creating Slack messages and automates them. Where other apps only focus on one specific activity, such as birthdays, CultureBot excels in addressing activities we didn't know we needed. Bein gable to create a random Trivia game or posting a fun water cooler topic has never been easier and has seen an increase in employee responses and engagement. **What do you dislike about CultureBot?** For me, the Employee Lottery aspect is something I can't see myself using, but that might be different for others. I wish there was a limited free tier that gated other more premium aspects of the app, such as Health Tips and Water Cooler Topics but still allowed the ability to use the Birthday and Anniversary functions for free. The app has a lot going for it, and having a free tier could allow more companies to adopt it, and upgrade it later once the birthday/anniversary function has proven successful. The trial is only 14 days and is just not enough time. **Recommendations to others considering CultureBot:** I have only had positive experiences with using CultureBot, from both the product side, but also, more importantly, the support I received afterwards. If you are looking for a premium product that delivers both quality and features, look no further than CultureBot. I would say that CultureBot will become the de-facto standard for Culture apps out there. Its features are meant to be set up and forgotten, allowing you to automate things you didn't know you needed. Highly Recommended! **What problems is CultureBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to engage and celebrate with employees using the most basic and simplistic methods, such as birthdays, has seen a sharp rise in engagement. The challenge we face is that the majority of our workforce is now remote, all the time, so how do we still make people feel part of the company and make them feel seen and heard. CultureBot is a first step in the right direction, by helping us address the basic human need of belonging and connection. Knowing someone has wished you well for your anniversary or birthday is a huge way of recognizing and showing them you care, through a simple small act like a "Happy Birthday". Water Cooler Topics, something as fun as Waffles vs Pancakes caused a right stir and chat about which one is better. Lunchtime chats or random office encounters are now occurring over Slack and break up the work day in a positive way. ### 26. The automatic celebrations of birthdays and work anniversaries also takes a load off my shoulders, and makes sure that colleagues feel acknowledged, which is quite handy. Overall a good suite of tools, the most premium tool for the money, half the price of Donut with more features than Donut + BirthdayBot. Very easy to setup - lives in Slack! Now that we’re growing rapidly, culture is really a huge focus for us. The bot took all of 5 minutes to setup, lives inside of Slack (so we don’t need to learn yet another piece of software — or keep track of it), and we started seeing value in it right away. More specifically we really enjoy the positive feedback shoutouts, conversation starters, and automated birthday celebrations.
