"Great Product for the Money"

What do you like best about Continuous Evaluation?

IDentix is a patented, cloud-based platform that continuously evaluates an individual's background and proactively alerts organizations when relevant risks emerge. The unit had the best software of anything else that my company has utilized in the past. because of this, it was very simple to learn how to use it and be able to use the entire program with minimal supervision and training. What do you dislike about Continuous Evaluation?

The Identix unit had the worst verification success rate of all products that our company used, which ended up with multiple log-on attempts and occasional failures. It's okay for individual use (consistent lighting and hand placement can improve results), but if it's moved around or used by several people, log-on times can suffer. This was especially true for my company. We had one at our front door next to the guard station and we ended up going with another product rather than this because it had so many issues with being able to log users on because it was used so often. This was really the only bad thing about the product. Along with issues with the USB scanner, Identix had a PC Card reader that also proved finicky. Lighting requirements seemed to be the culprit, as Identix was the only unit with both automatic and manual lighting adjustments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Continuous Evaluation:

Remember that some of the items may malfunction on the product and it is better for a small group of users rather than a large one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Continuous Evaluation solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used the product to try to increase security for our office and it did work, but only when used by a small group of people rather than the entire office. It did help us to see that we had a need for more security in our office even though we ended up sending this product back to the manufacturer, but it did its job while we had it.
