Conga has ramped up its cadence of releases in the last 18 months, introducing a rich blend of AI, usability, and ecosystem improvements to its Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) offerings.

1). Embedded generative AI for contract insight and risk control.
2). Smarter collaboration options that meet users where they live in their favorite productivity tools.
3. Broader post-signature governance to monitor obligations, analytics, and audit information. (releasing in july-2025).

Features i loved the most:

Speed – AI Configurator and Copilot reduces first-time setup and daily search time.
2. Risk Control – Redline AI exposes latent exposure prior to signature.
3. Collaboration – Google Docs Review greets users in Workspace; Conga Sign 2.0 reduces approval cycles.
4. Compliance – Obligations management builds a single source of truth for deliverables and audit.
5. Scalability – Bulk import + multilingual AI enabled enterprises to onboard millions of old contracts in a short time.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

Conga CLM is greatly valued for its powerful capabilities and integration with Salesforce, but there are a number of areas where users feel there is potential for improvement:

User Experience: The UI can be clumsy and is occasionally hard to use, particularly when switching between pages or searching within a repository of contracts.

Setup Complexity: Initial setup and template configuration are complicated, frequently needing technical support and much time to get up and running.

Support: Responsiveness of customer support can be sluggish, with occasional users complaining of delayed or poor responses when problems are reported.

Training & Learning Curve: Training and template design are particularly difficult for non-technical users, deterring adoption and onboarding.

Conga has solved multiple issues like it provides a good visibility and understanding of the contracts, and we can keep track of the signed/unsigned contracts. There is also a feature where we get to know the any issues or advice from the clients.

Conga CLM offers significant advantages in ease of use, implementation, and integration. It has the best streamlined process for the contract. Conga CLM is also integrated with quoting process of conga as well, we can integrate conga CLM while creating the contracts with microsft word and it can be integrated with different e-signature tools like conga sign, adobe sign, docusign. Conga CLM gives us the better understanding to manage the documents associated with contracts. We can publish it and made it stored in the cloud as well.

Conga CLM has ability to create complex contract templates with dynamic salesforce fields, clauses, section and also provide condtions to hide and show based on objects fields and its related objects.

Conga CLM helps customer with creating the agreement, generating the document, reivew it for legal team then send for signature to the client and then can we used as a contract for a particular purchase.

Conga CLM excels in user-friendly contract management, with strong customer support and frequent updates, enhancing efficiency in legal workflows.

Conga CLM can be frequently used for creating the contracts with customized templates and e-sign process

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

While Conga CLM offers many strengths, it does have some downsides. One notable challenge is the complexity of advanced customization. Conga has provided Fixed process and workflows for particular process, We have not much advanced customization on the CLM Part like callbacks and metadata settings.

There is a quite challange for the User training to create the templates for the contracts as it require a techincal person to have all the understanding on the salesforce and word end. User training needs more time instead of other products like conga contracts.

Conga CLM is not able to handle complex templates which requries third party integration and it is not useful when their is more dynamic things while creating the template.

The pricing is much higher as there are multiple users need to be purchased who needs to use the software. So costing needs to be taken in consideration.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM is helping us solve several critical business problems related to contract management. Firstly, it has streamlined the contract creation process, significantly reducing the time spent on drafting, editing, and approving contracts. By automating templates and approval workflows, it ensures that contracts are consistent and accurate, reducing human error and the risk of non-compliance.

Conga CLM reduces the risk for verifying it with the legal team as it has the option for reconcilation the document.

Conga CLM has integrated almost all the e-sign tool which gives the business flexibility while costing the e-sign tool.

Conga CLM is integrated with the conga order management tool which gives us the contracted data and we can order products/services accordingly and step on the deal values.

It is a user friend product, the documentations are easy to access and having detail step by step process to achieve the functionality which helps in implementing the use cases. The Conga Support is great we get 24/7 support from them and are always ready to help us. We use it in our day to day work.

Everything is great sometimes feature request takes time to reach to customer.

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If we can see that there is a existing functionaily working before but not working now, then we contact out Conga Support and they get on a call with us and help us resolve the issue with root cause and resolution. They also provide valid documentations and Knowledge articles which helps us to avoid similar issues in the future. They also provide 24/7 support.

As a consultant Conga CLM is Easy to Use. I am using Conga CLM on daily Basis to manage a contracts. while managing contracts sometimes I need to create a duplicate contract for that purpose Conga Provides Clone Functinality. When I faces any issues I conect with Conga Support Team. They are always available to solve my queries.

In Some point UI of Conga CLM looking bit complex.

While managing contracts sometimes I need to create a duplicate contract for that purpose Conga Provides Clone Functinality. By using this functionality I can wasily create a duplicate agreement. It saves my time and reduces too much of manual work.

Setting up a new product / new feature is very complex. The configuration must be done in several places. Error messages are not descriptive. Audit history is missing.

Our contract documents are relatively complex. There are various dependencies that need to be considered.

There are many features and customization options in terms of setting up the  Agreement object with Conga to generate templates.  They are also consistently enhancing and adding features.

 Easy to add trmplates and generate many different agreements.

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

Their support team is not always aware of the features /functionality/limitations which is frustrating when dealing with support on issues.

Conga  X-Author (for Word 365)  is visually engaging but not easy to find functions/options within the app and often glitches in the middle of working.

Their product documentation needs work - it does not provide extensive overview on correct setup/usage steps.   More involvement of Conga team when  exploiting new features /enhancements on existing  implementations

Automation  and Standardization  of our agreements and templates. Our legal team has also been able to increase efficiency and turn around time for   agreements.

It is been great using the CLM product in day to day processes and, easy to use tool, they have so many features in places also integrated with many other products. As far as I am aware it is easy to implement and great support.

There is nothing much, but sometimes its a little annoying to wait for the documents to get generated

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conga CLM is solving problems that are related to the agreement life cycle, the generation process, the integration process regarding the approval and signing of profucts and so on.

It has a very easy integration with other platforms ie salesforce and has real - time Collaboration between the clients and users

**What do you dislike about Conga CLM?**

It has glitches when we navigate to other platforms which the software very slow and for smaller businesses the price is quite higher

**What problems is Conga CLM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me in creating and editing workflow easily so that I can satisfy customers need easily in the time period. I am an able to identify risk factor in a very early stage.
