**What do you like best about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

User friendly platform in helping to run organization and associated staffs. I have used this tool in tracking activities and transactions- helping to be in track with sales and revenue.

**What do you dislike about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

Pricing is expensive - it would be nice if we pay based on the module and usage of data (more like Saas)

**What do you like best about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

It is easy to navigate screens and very self-explanatory. It doesn't feel cumbersome but still allows us to utilize many aspects of the programs and reporting to keep up with memberships and program registration.

**What do you dislike about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

The biggest hurdle that I have encountered with the software is that it doesn't link to some of the marketing software that we have been utilizing. I would like it to be able to automatically sync with our email marketing to streamline all our messaging.

**Recommendations to others considering CivicPlus Recreation Management:**

We originally started using other software because they were less expensive during the bid process, however after experiencing constant issues with the prior software we switched to CivicRec and have so far been very pleased with the consistency of our reporting as well as the ability to easily move between various screens.

**What problems is CivicPlus Recreation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had massive issues with our prior software not accurately reporting accounting information and CivicRec has proven to not only be much more accurate in terms of reporting but also has been much easier to navigate and access all the various reporting options that we need.

**What do you like best about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

Simple user interface - visually it is easy to learn quickly

**What do you dislike about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

Most everything else. Buggy, unpredictable performance depending on browser. Limited functionality - specifically in communication with customers and scholarships. Not mobile friendly - we consistently warn our customers not to try to register via their mobile phones because it leads to so many issues. Registration/checkout can be confusion for some of our customers, and have had issues on high traffic registration days

**Recommendations to others considering CivicPlus Recreation Management:**

Be sure that it has all the functions you need - especially considering special features like scholarship tracking, specific reports, etc

**What problems is CivicPlus Recreation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not able to apply scholarships to accounts and also track the amount of scholarship funds used per child.
Searching for users can be difficult, would like to be able to search by phone #, email address, address rather than just name

**What do you like best about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

Rec1 never removes features or functionality but are continuing to grow and expand their accounting, user interface, and POS management and to this day accomplishes everything we want in a recreation/POS/facility software. Accounting is also streamlined and easy to use.

Another cool feature is the customer roadmap where you can submit or vote on ideas for further development. There were even times they developed new parts of the software simply because we asked. For the cost of 1% of our revenue, this service it's absolutely worth every penny!

**What do you dislike about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

Our only complaint when compared with other software companies comes from the lack of phone support. They do have an emergency line but generally correspondence is done through email. Having the ability to pick up a phone and immediately talk with an expert would be nice rather than the unknown timeframe of email (although still fairly quick).

**Recommendations to others considering CivicPlus Recreation Management:**

We looked for software that could do everything we wanted and it didn't exist at the time. Rec1 was the best option and with their continual development I can safely say they do EVERYTHING we want it to do. Besides, if it doesn't do it now, it probably will soon.

**What problems is CivicPlus Recreation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a city organization in Idaho and we've been working with Rec1 for about a year now and our experience has been excellent. We use this software for recreation signups and management, leagues & coaching, Aquatic Center and museum POS management, and facility signup & management. The software had a few small bugs and didn't do 100% of what we wanted when we signed up but that quickly changed. Rec1 worked though every "demand" we had and were very pleasant and knowledgable with all that their software can do.

**What do you like best about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

I like that they are very quick to respond when you have a question or an issue. The staff with rec1 are always looking for ways to improve their software and try to add as many features as possibly with each new version they release. It is also nice that the software is so easy to use on the backend when you are setting up your facilities and programs. When you are training someone that has never used the software you won't have to worry about them catching on. They also have nice features for creating membership cards and for streamlining coaches information. 

**What do you dislike about CivicPlus Recreation Management?**

The system is sometimes difficult for people to use when they are trying to register online. There are several steps involved with setting up accounts and getting through the checkout process. There is nothing really wrong with the system though. It is mostly user error. 

**Recommendations to others considering CivicPlus Recreation Management:**

I highly recommend you try this product and work with this organization. They are a great team and the software makes a HUGE difference in your day to day operations. 

**What problems is CivicPlus Recreation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went from being an all cash organization to having online and credit card capabilities. This helped to speed up the registration and reservation processes and also made it convenient for customers to interact with us from the comfort of their homes. We have definitely noticed growth in our sales since we partnered with Rec1.
