Bullhorn provides most reports and information you need from an employee to find the best fit for the client and associate. Files are saved and can be viewed up to years later storing all notes and not leaving anything behind. This helps us decide if an employee from the past is eligible for rehire with us, the client or needs to be contacted about why they are not. Easy to use and figure out the system after you get your hands in it. The system itself is pretty self explanatory, even though it does take a minute to figure out how to pass by a glitch. As a recruiter, Bullhorn has been a great tool for keeping everything organized and moving efficiently. It’s easy to use, helps me find candidates quickly, and keeps track of all communication in one place. I especially like how it combines CRM and ATS features, so I don’t have to jump between systems. The automation and reporting tools save a ton of time and give solid visibility into our pipeline and performance. It also integrates well with tools we already use, like email and calendars, which makes day-to-day work smoother. Overall, Bullhorn has made a real difference in how we manage our workflow and stay on top of recruiting. One of the biggest issues I’ve run into is the data export limitations—trying to pull reports or migrate data can be clunky, and sometimes it feels like you need a workaround just to get basic info out of the system. Another pain point is support response time. When something goes wrong, it can take days to hear back, which is tough when you’re in the middle of a hiring sprint. I’ve also heard from others that contract renewals can be a bit sneaky—some users have been auto-renewed without clear notice, which isn’t a great experience. As a Talent Coordinator I deal with the onboarding and verification side of the process and it is very efficient, mainstream, and easy to work with. The onboarding process for the talent is easy to use and quicker than previous systems. Saving notes is very slow and takes up a lot of time. Also the search function to find people in our database doesn't always populate the candidates we are looking for. I can have someone call in, search for them in Bullhorn, not find them, go to make a new profile, then when saving the new profile it will show me there is already a profile in the system.
