What do you like best about Booking.com for Business?

The ability to search properties by location, availability, price and number of beds and rooms. I also appreciate the fact that you are competing directly with AirBnB, so you are listing private rooms or flats, or small commercial bedsits in addition to traditional hotels. I usually find that, thanks to my discount, I can book the same property more cheaply via Booking.com. I also appreciate the assistance from a customer service person when required. What do you dislike about Booking.com for Business?

A long-time issue I have experienced is that search specification of number of rooms or beds seems to be ignored. For each project I am booking for a set number of colleagues, some of whom I can ask to share twin rooms and some of whom need their own bedroom, so replies thrown up which assume that two adults can share a double bed are of no use to me.

The system of adding names of travellers is of no use to me. When booking I usually do not have confirmation of the names of the colleagues travelling with me as they are freelance and may be swapped before the booked dates, or for overseas projects I am probably booking the rooms far in advance, to lock in the prices I am quoting to my client, before I have engaged the crew.

I was disappointed recently to find when the chatbot could not answer my query re a stay double booked by the property, I was simply directed to a voice chatbot, which also couldn't help, so as it was the middle of the afternoon with nowhere to stay that night, I had to risk going ahead and making another booking without confirmation that the first booking would be refunded, though later communication stated that it would be. I did later receive a call from a customer service person which was much appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the easy booking management and payment with Booking.com for Business since all my cards are registered. I appreciate the payment efficiency, especially when booking at local hotels. What do you dislike about Booking.com for Business?

I had a really bad experience with Booking.com for Business last summer, and I want to avoid using it as much as possible. I booked a hotel, but then I received WhatsApp messages from the so-called hotel saying that payment wasn't received. after many attemps i booked another hotel but was charged the amount of 950 euro anyway. I find your customer service very difficult to reach, and I've never had an answer on my mail. I lost 950 euro and you did not even get in toutch with me, I hope you guys go bankrupt. I use Booking.com for Business for regional travel, and it makes it easier to find something that is good value for money. I like that it has recommendations too. The ease of use is really nice, and it's all compiled for you with a filter function that takes the stress out of booking travel. I like the Genius program too. The initial setup was very easy. Booking.com for business is more expensive than booking directly with the hotels. I've tried several times to unsubscribe from my business account and switch back to private, even sending a few emails, but so far no response. The problem is that it is so cumbersome to log into the site. All the bookings are in one place and that we can add individual users to book their own accommodation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Booking.com for Business?

When bookings have been made with multiple hotels over the course of a week, it requires contacting each hotel for a VAT invoice. Although we have this option ticked, not one hotel provides an invoice.

Also, payments are taken in advance of the booking - weeks/months in advance. We have also had hotels take deposit payments, with no confirmation that this was their policy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
