The ability to search properties by location, availability, price and number of beds and rooms. I also appreciate the fact that you are competing directly with AirBnB, so you are listing private rooms or flats, or small commercial bedsits in addition to traditional hotels. I usually find that, thanks to my discount, I can book the same property more cheaply via Booking.com. I also appreciate the assistance from a customer service person when required. A long-time issue I have experienced is that search specification of number of rooms or beds seems to be ignored. For each project I am booking for a set number of colleagues, some of whom I can ask to share twin rooms and some of whom need their own bedroom, so replies thrown up which assume that two adults can share a double bed are of no use to me.
The system of adding names of travellers is of no use to me. When booking I usually do not have confirmation of the names of the colleagues travelling with me as they are freelance and may be swapped before the booked dates, or for overseas projects I am probably booking the rooms far in advance, to lock in the prices I am quoting to my client, before I have engaged the crew.
I was disappointed recently to find when the chatbot could not answer my query re a stay double booked by the property, I was simply directed to a voice chatbot, which also couldn't help, so as it was the middle of the afternoon with nowhere to stay that night, I had to risk going ahead and making another booking without confirmation that the first booking would be refunded, though later communication stated that it would be.
