## Bonusly Reviews
 ### 1. Simple, Visible Recognition with Real Rewards That Keeps Teams Engaged

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edson O. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It stands out because it makes recognition simple, visible, and tied to real rewards. Employees can quickly recognize each other with points and messages—often directly from tools like Slack or Teams—and those points can be redeemed for meaningful rewards, which keeps engagement high. It also reinforces company culture through a public recognition feed and value-based tagging, while giving managers useful insights into team dynamics through analytics. On top of that, features like automated celebrations for milestones and lightweight feedback tools help maintain consistent engagement without adding extra administrative work.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

It works well for recognition, but it has some gaps. Rewards can feel limited or slow to earn, the platform depends heavily on active participation to be effective, and its analytics are relatively basic compared to more robust HR tools. Some users also mention usability hiccups and the need for a solid budget to keep rewards meaningful.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the common problem of employees feeling undervalued due to inconsistent or delayed recognition. By enabling quick, peer-to-peer appreciation with real rewards, it keeps recognition constant and visible. This benefits you by boosting team morale, increasing engagement, and giving you clearer insight into contributions, which helps build a stronger, more motivated team overall.

 ### 2. Revolutionized Team Morale with Instant Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haritha P. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly for peer-to-peer recognition, which has really changed team morale. Being able to thank someone instantly with points when they cover a shift or lend a hand is fantastic. The Slack integration makes it super easy to use, and people get excited about redeeming points for Amazon gift cards or donating to charity. Bonusly makes recognition instant, public, and peer-to-peer, which means I can give recognition to my coworker at any time with points and a GIF. This really helps with those 'getting-lost thanks.' I especially recommend it for remote teams, as it helps new joiners become part of the team quickly. I love that anyone can recognize anyone and that it's easy to use, with the bonus of tangible redeemable gift cards that can be used for shopping, groceries, and movies. The initial setup was fast, taking under an hour, and the integration with our HRIS synced everyone automatically, making the rollout smooth. No IT help was needed, and it connected easily with Slack company-wide.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Monthly allowances reset whether you use them or not. If I'm out of office and miss a week, I lose points to give. A rollover option would be fine.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly for peer recognition, boosting team morale instantly, not just during reviews. It's public, peer-to-peer, so nothing gets lost in Slack. New joiners feel integrated quickly, and it's super easy with Slack integration for giving points.

 ### 3. Easy Recognition with Helpful Reminders, Slack Integration, and New AI Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Spiritual Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It’s very easy to use. I especially like the reminders to recognize my team, including the bar that shows which team members I’ve recognized this month and how long it’s been since I last did so. The Slack integration is a nice touch—though it can be a bit noisy—and I’ve never had any issues with the site’s responsiveness or overall performance. The onboarding was quick and easy, and the recent introduction of AI tools for recognition just increases the ROI.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I wish we didn't have to pay taxes on the rewards we redeem through Bonusly, but that's an issue with the American tax code and not with the site itself.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure we recognize our teammates, co-workers, and direct reports is easier than ever. Before Bonusly, we used a homegrown recognition solution that led to VERY sporadic recognition and rewards that felt hard to earn. Bonusly has made recognition quicker and simpler, and it feels more meaningful and valuable overall.

 ### 4. Bonusly is a fantastic, easy-to-use platform for recognizing coworkers and building morale!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | IT Manager, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly provides such an easy way to recognize the contributions that your coworkers make each and every day. The familiar interface, similar to social media, make it easy to navigate and interact with. Plus, the ability to utilize media like GIFs in posts really makes the system engaging and, dare I say, entertaining! Our organization integrates Bonusly with Okta for single sign-on, so it makes it extremely easy for our employees to access. To top it all off, the interface is quick and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There isn't much to dislike, to be honest. If I were to be really picky, I would prefer there to not be any fees associated with cashing out your points via PayPal, but I understand that those fees are from PayPal and not Bonusly directly, so there may not be anything that can be done to address this.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way for coworkers to recognize and encourage one another and Bonusly provides a great solution for that need. Employees love using Bonusly to thank their coworkers. Plus, we use Bonusly to issue prizes for company-wide recognitions, and to set rewards for following through with certain goals that the company establishes.

 ### 5. The easiest way to build a culture of recognition.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vasanth J. | Media Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The best thing about Bonusly is how effortless it makes peer recognition. I can appreciate a teammate in seconds, and that simplicity means it actually gets used regularly. Earning and redeeming rewards adds a fun element, and over time it has genuinely boosted our team morale. It turns everyday appreciation into something meaningful and rewarding for everyone involved.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The monthly points limit feels a bit restrictive, especially during busy months when there are multiple people to recognize. A little more flexibility in points allocation would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of unrecognized efforts in a busy workplace. In fast-paced teams, good work often goes unnoticed Bonusly makes it easy to call that out instantly. It has helped build a culture of appreciation on our team, where everyone feels seen and valued. The rewards system also adds a fun motivation layer, making recognition more than just words. Overall, it has improved team engagement and made collaboration feel more rewarding.

 ### 6. Unresponsive Support and Unreliable Zapier Integration—Plus a Costly 5% Fee

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's really useful, and my employees love it. The app is easy to use, and I love that it connects to Zapier (although the integration is not always reliable).

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

It is impossible to get in touch with anyone. They only offer email support, and I have waited 6 days to hear back from their Engineering team about an urgent issue with their Zapier integration. (Their integration suddenly stopped working for us, which rendered all of our zaps useless - which is a big part of how we reward our employees.) They also take 5% on top of every reward that gets distributed, which adds up quickly when you give out as much in incentives as we do.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to allow our employees to recognize each other for for their efforts.

 ### 7. A User-Friendly Platform for Employee Recognition and Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mrunmay J. | Research Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like the most about bonusly is its innovative approach to recognising and appreciating colleagues for their contributions and support. It provides a simple yet effective way to acknowledge help in real time, making recognition frequent, visible, and meaningful within the team.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One area that could be improved in Bonusly is the range and flexibility of reward options, which can sometimes feel limited depending on the region. Additionally, while the platform is generally easy to use, enhancing customization features or providing more personalization options could further improve the overall experience.

These are relatively minor aspects, but addressing them would make the platform even more effective and engaging.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly addresses the challenge of recognizing and appreciating contributions in a timely and consistent manner within a team. In many workplaces, recognition can be infrequent or informal, which may lead to efforts going unnoticed. Bonusly solves this by providing a structured and visible platform for peer-to-peer recognition.

For me, this is beneficial because it makes appreciation more immediate and meaningful. It helps foster a positive work environment, improves team morale, and encourages collaboration by acknowledging support and contributions regularly.

 ### 8. Bonusly Makes Recognition and Rewards Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis J. | Accountant / Closing Auditor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is an extraordinary tool for recognizing and incentivizing co-workers. What I like most is how easy it is to give and receive bonuses or incentives with teammates, and how simple it is to redeem those bonuses, points, and incentives when you’re ready.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I only get 100 points per month to give away, hahaha. I know this isn’t really something related to Bonsuly and is more of an employer policy, but I’d prefer to receive more points so I can share them and better incentivize my teammates when they exceed their KPIs.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t think this is a problem per se, but Bonsuly helps people give and receive recognition within the team rather than only from upper management. Because of that, the incentive system can sometimes feel more “democratic.”

 ### 9. Great bonus & rewards tool for the entire team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliott V. | PPC Team Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's very easy to use! The fact that everybody in the company can use it from top level management to new junior starters makes it very collaborative and helps us recognise and shout about people at all levels

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One possible downside to using Bonusly is that if you work for a fairly large company, each individual's pot needs to be sufficient so they have credits to last a full calendar month before they reset

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is helping our company solve recognition and praise in a remote/flexible working company who aren't based in one office full-time. The benefit of everyone seeing recognition and praise at all levels fosters a rewarding and helpful company culture.

 ### 10. Great way to recognise colleagues and a great motivator for the team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly gives people a chance to recognise others in the company who may not be very visible outside of their teams - an example being our engineers. I also like that you need to specify at least one of our company values a person has exhibited when giving Bonusly points - it keeps our values at the forefront of everyone's minds.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

A way to pool unused points into a shared bucket to use if you use up all of your points would be great - I regularly run out of points as I have a big team and want to recognise them often, whereas others do not use all of their points. Alternatively, a way to transfer points to someone else to give.

Better analytics too - it only recognises you giving points per post, not per person within the post

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great boost for people to receive public recognition for their efforts

 ### 11. Excellent tool for recognizing colleagues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The social feed feels more like a "work-friendly Instagram" than a corporate tool.

Features: The ability to add GIFs, images, and emojis makes the feed fun to read.

Add-on bonuses: Colleagues can "add on" to an existing recognition, which creates a compounding effect of appreciation for a specific project.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The most common complaint from regular users is that they simply run out of points too quickly.

When you have a large team or a very collaborative week, you might run out of points by the 10th of the month.

Users feel "guilty" when they can't recognize a peer’s hard work because their "wallet" is empty, which can temporarily stall the momentum of a recognition culture.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small wins and "behind-the-scenes" help would go unnoticed. Only major project completions get a shout-out in the monthly newsletter. Bonusly ensures daily contributions are seen by peers and managers in real-time.

 ### 12. Positive and fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas W.

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

We’ve had a great experience with Bonusly. It’s incredibly easy to use—no friction, no training required—which means people actually use it consistently instead of it becoming another forgotten tool.

What really stands out is how motivating it is, both individually and as a team. The public recognition feed adds a layer of visibility that reinforces positive behavior in real time, not just during formal reviews. It creates a steady drumbeat of appreciation that feels authentic, not forced.

The social element is also a win—the GIFs and lighthearted tone make it fun without undermining the value of the recognition. It strikes a rare balance between being meaningful and engaging.

Overall, it’s a simple system that punches above its weight in driving culture and morale.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Can feel transactional
The points system works, but it can shift recognition toward “earning” rather than genuine appreciation if people start thinking in terms of points.
Recognition quality varies
Some shoutouts are thoughtful and specific, others are generic. The impact really depends on how intentional people are.
Budget caps limit momentum
Monthly point limits keep things controlled, but they can feel restrictive—especially when you want to recognize more in a high-output stretch.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves a pretty fundamental problem: recognition was inconsistent, delayed, and often invisible. Good work would happen, but only a small portion of it got acknowledged—and usually only in private or during formal reviews.

Bonusly fixes that by making recognition immediate, easy, and visible.

 ### 13. Bonusly: Makes recognition visible and part of the daily workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly has made peer recognition at our company feel natural instead of forced. The tight integration with our existing tools (especially Slack and SSO) means people can give a shoutout in the same place they already collaborate, so recognition actually happens instead of being an HR checkbox. Posts are public by default, which helps amplify wins across teams and gives people visibility they might not otherwise get.

I also like how easy it is to tie recognition to company values using hashtags. Over time you start to see patterns around which values are really being lived, which teams are highly collaborative, and who is quietly having a big impact behind the scenes. The redemption side is straightforward, and people appreciate having a mix of options like gift cards, donations, and swag.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The allowance model is great for nudging regular recognition, but it does create an “end of month rush” where people remember they still have points to give. That can lead to a small spike of generic shoutouts instead of more thoughtful, timely ones.

The reward catalog is solid overall, but international teams can occasionally feel a bit constrained in terms of locally relevant options. There are also moments where managers would like more flexibility—either to delegate their budget while they’re out, or to temporarily give a bit more in a crunch period—and that isn’t as smooth as it could be.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes good work visible across org lines. People who don’t naturally self-promote still get recognition when peers and partners tag them in posts, which helps with morale and career visibility.

Reinforces company values in a concrete way. Hashtags and examples in the feed turn abstract values into real behaviors you can point to.

Encourages frequent, lightweight appreciation. Because it’s easy to give a small amount of points with a short note, recognition doesn’t wait for performance review season.

Provides a simple rewards path. The fact that points convert into meaningful rewards makes the appreciation feel tangible without turning it into a complex incentive system.

Overall, Bonusly is a strong fit if you want a lightweight but impactful way to build a culture of appreciation and make recognition part of the operating system of the company, not a once-a-year event.

 ### 14. Bonusly a great tool for building a culture of recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is a great tool for building a culture of recognition. It makes it easy for team members to appreciate each other in real time, and the rewards system adds a fun incentive. It’s simple to use and has definitely improved team morale.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One downside is that the impact depends heavily on team participation, if people aren’t actively using it, the value drops quickly.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of inconsistent and often overlooked employee recognition. In many workplaces, good work can go unnoticed due to busy schedules, lack of visibility (especially for remote employees), or reliance on managers to give recognition. This can lead to lower morale and disengagement.

By enabling peer-to-peer recognition in real time, Bonusly makes it easy for anyone on the team to acknowledge contributions as they happen. It also brings visibility to achievements across the organization through a shared feed, helping ensure that efforts don’t go unnoticed.

For me, the biggest benefit is feeling more connected and appreciated at work. It reinforces positive behaviors, boosts motivation, and creates a more supportive team culture. The points-based rewards system adds an extra incentive, while also making recognition feel tangible and meaningful.

 ### 15. Effective Peer Recognition Platform with Strong Engagement, Limited by Reward Flexibility

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly makes peer-to-peer recognition simple, visible, and part of everyday work rather than a formal process. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, which lowers friction and encourages consistent participation. I especially value how it enables real-time appreciation across teams, helping reinforce company values and improving overall morale. The points-based system adds a tangible reward element, making recognition feel more meaningful while still being lightweight and quick to give.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The monthly points allocation can feel restrictive, particularly in highly collaborative teams where frequent recognition is needed. Reward options can also be limited depending on region, which reduces perceived value. Additionally, the platform’s effectiveness depends heavily on team adoption—if engagement is low, its impact declines. Some aspects like analytics depth, mobile experience, and customization could also be improved.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly addresses a common gap in many workplaces: recognition is often infrequent, inconsistent, and limited to managers or formal reviews. This can lead to employees feeling undervalued or their contributions going unnoticed.

It solves this by providing a structured, real-time, peer-to-peer recognition platform where anyone can acknowledge contributions publicly and tie them to company values. Recognition becomes part of daily workflows instead of a periodic event.

For me, this results in several tangible benefits:

Recognition is immediate and visible, which makes appreciation more meaningful
It increases motivation and engagement by reinforcing positive behaviors
It helps create a more positive and collaborative team culture
Contributions across teams are easier to see, improving alignment and transparency

Overall, Bonusly turns recognition from something occasional into a consistent, everyday practice, which improves morale and encourages stronger team performance.

 ### 16. Great reward system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo D.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like most about Bonusly is how easy it is to recognize and appreciate coworkers in real time. It creates a positive culture where small contributions don’t go unnoticed, and it helps strengthen team connections even in remote environments.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is especially helpful for boosting engagement and morale across teams. The ability to give frequent, peer-to-peer recognition makes appreciation more visible and consistent. It also aligns recognition with company values, which reinforces the behaviors that matter most. Another big upside is how simple and quick it is to use, so it naturally becomes part of the daily workflow.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the problem of recognition getting lost in the day-to-day work. Before, it was easy for people’s efforts to go unnoticed, especially in busy or remote teams. With Bonusly, appreciation happens more often and in a visible way, so it doesn’t just stay between two people.

For me, that’s made a big difference. It’s motivating to feel recognized regularly, even for small contributions, and it also helps me see what others on the team are doing. It creates a more positive and connected environment overall, which definitely makes work feel more engaging.

 ### 17. We love Bonusly!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly has been a great tool for reinforcing our culture in a very real, day-to-day way. It makes recognition easy, visible, and consistent across all locations, not just dependent on managers remembering to call things out. I especially like that it encourages peer-to-peer recognition, which helps highlight contributions that leadership might not always see. The platform ties recognition to our core values, so it’s not just “good job,” it’s meaningful and aligned with what we actually care about as a company. It also adds a layer of fun and engagement, while still feeling purposeful and structured.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Honestly, there aren’t any major downsides that stand out in our experience. Like any tool, its effectiveness depends on how consistently and thoughtfully it’s used, but that’s more about internal habits than the platform itself. Overall, it’s been a very positive addition and has delivered on what we needed it to do.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Bonusly, recognition was inconsistent across our locations. Each team approached it differently, and it often fell through the cracks with everything else going on day to day. Bonusly solved that by creating a centralized, structured way to recognize employees that doesn’t rely on someone remembering in the moment. The milestone rewards are especially valuable because they’re “set it and forget it,” ensuring important moments are never missed. It’s also had a big impact on engagement, since our team genuinely enjoys recognizing each other. Overall, it’s brought consistency, visibility, and a stronger culture of appreciation across the company.

 ### 18. such a fun way to get rewarded (and reward your peers)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ludmilla S.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

its so easy to show appreciation to your colleagues and receive rewards as well. it doesn't cost me a dime to show support but it certainly brings a smile to someone else's face. since the company is also encouraging to use up our bonus points within the month, you actually take some time to think about all the peers and how they supported or showed greatness throughout the month.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I cant think of anything that I dislike, its an easy tool, has some nice products to choose from, its straight forward. not sure how redeeming rewards looks like as i havent done it yet, so cant give proper feedback on that just yet, but the choice of rewards themselves look good and cover most lifestyles.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

sometimes its hard to show how much you appreciate your colleagues and especially if you are not in a management position, it gets even harder, apart from the nice email or chat message, there is not much you could do. this way you get to reward your peers and managers for anything that is important to you.

 ### 19. Very good way to improve the working culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam A.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What stands out about Bonusly is how it turns recognition into something continuous and peer-driven, rather than a once-a-year performance ritual.

Instead of top-down praise, everyone can recognize each other in real time with small bonuses tied to company values. That tends to do a few things really well:
	•	It makes appreciation visible across the company, not just within teams
	•	It reinforces culture because recognitions are usually tagged to core values
	•	It creates a lightweight feedback loop—people don’t have to wait for reviews to know they’re doing well
	•	And the rewards element adds just enough incentive without making it feel transactional

A lot of tools try to solve engagement, but Bonusly’s strength is that it builds it into everyday interactions rather than treating it like a separate HR process.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The monthly allowance, if unused is not carried over to the next month. I would really hope if we can increase this to 3 months or something

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is solving the problem of lack of continuous recognition and low employee engagement in organizations.

In many companies, appreciation is either infrequent (like annual reviews) or top-down, which leads to employees feeling unnoticed or disconnected. Bonusly addresses this by enabling real-time, peer-to-peer recognition with small rewards, making appreciation part of everyday work rather than a periodic event.

It also tackles issues like:
	•	Disconnected teams (especially remote)
	•	Low morale and motivation
	•	Lack of visibility into contributions

From an individual perspective, the benefits are pretty tangible:
	•	I feel more recognized in real time
Instead of waiting for formal feedback cycles, I get immediate acknowledgment for my work, which keeps motivation high.
	•	Better visibility across the company
My contributions are visible beyond my immediate team, which helps with recognition and career growth.
	•	Stronger team connection

Bonusly has made recognition feel simple and genuinely meaningful in our day‑to‑day work. Instead of praise getting lost in emails or meetings, it gives everyone an easy way to acknowledge good work right when it happens. The peer‑to‑peer aspect is what really stands out—recognition doesn’t just come top‑down, it comes from teammates who see the effort firsthand.

Engagement can drop if teams don’t actively encourage usage

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 21. Bonusly Makes Peer Recognition Easy and Boosts Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie G. | SEM Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly is very easy to use, and it was also straightforward to implement. It allows me to encourage my peers, and they do the same for me. It really boosts morale because you can clearly see your hard work and effort being recognized. I use it at least once a month. I haven’t needed to contact customer support, so I can’t really speak to that part of the experience. Overall, the range of features makes it simple to fit into my regular work routine.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

It depends a lot on user engagement—if people don’t actively use it, it loses value.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps address the lack of recognition and encouragement in the workplace. In turn, it supports a more positive, motivating work environment where people feel appreciated and encouraged.

 ### 22. Fun, Easy Kudos with Small Prizes for Team Recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex W. | Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Being able to send kudos to team members along with a small prize.
The functions were easy to use and easy enough to cash out. Our reward system updated each month so team members would go on at the minimum once a month. Some people were on more than others. It was nice that it would send you occasional email reminders (not overly) and it would also email if you got recognized.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

How the comments are all public to the entire company. It would be nice to be able to send some of the comments/awards to a select few or just to the recipient.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to recognize team members with more than just words. It gave incentives to help teammates more and to give a kudos to different teammates.

 ### 23. Empowering, Inclusive Recognition with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosalyn D. | Patient Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Here’s what I think is best about Bonusly:

Peer-to-peer recognition that’s public and visible: Everyone can see and celebrate others’ contributions in real time, which boosts morale and helps reinforce a positive work culture. Recognition also isn’t just top-down—it empowers everyone to give kudos, which makes it feel more inclusive.

Microbonuses tied to real rewards: Small, frequent bonuses can be redeemed for gift cards or donations. That adds a tangible incentive and often feels more rewarding than just a “thank you.” The monetary value isn’t huge, but the gesture-and-reward combination goes a long way.

Integration with tools you already use: Bonusly integrates smoothly with Slack, Microsoft Teams, and other workplace tools, so it’s easy to use without disrupting day-to-day workflows.

Analytics and insights: HR and managers can track who’s getting recognized and what they’re being recognized for. It’s helpful for spotting top contributors, potential burnout risks, or gaps in culture.

The best!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Mobile App Limitations: Some users have noted that the mobile app does not provide the same full functionality as the web platform, which can reduce usability when working on the go. This gap may be a drawback for employees who prefer or rely on mobile access.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Challenges Bonusly Addresses

A major challenge in many workplaces is the lack of frequent, meaningful recognition. Traditional ways of acknowledging employees often happen infrequently, and the feedback can be too broad to make a real impact. Bonusly helps address this by enabling employees to give recognition that is specific, timely, and public, which makes appreciation a more regular and visible part of everyday work.

Another common issue is limited visibility into employee contributions. Managers—especially those leading large or remote teams—may struggle to see the full range of what their team is doing. Bonusly provides a transparent space where recognition is visible to everyone, helping managers get a clearer view of achievements and better understand the work being done.

From my perspective as an employee, I’ve seen several benefits from using Bonusly. Receiving recognition more regularly has improved my engagement and motivation, which boosts morale and encourages me to keep performing at a high level. Because recognition is public, my contributions are also more visible to both peers and managers. I also appreciate being able to choose my own rewards, since it makes the recognition feel more personal and meaningful. Overall, taking part in a culture of recognition has helped me build stronger connections and feel a greater sense of community within my team.

 ### 24. Bonusly Builds a Genuine Culture of Peer-to-Peer Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle V. | ?Verification ?Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is how it genuinely reinforces a culture of recognition and appreciation. The peer-to-peer aspect empowers employees at all levels to celebrate wins in real time, which helps boost morale, engagement, and collaboration. I also appreciate how Bonusly aligns recognition with company values, making appreciation both meaningful and motivating rather than just transactional.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One potential downside of Bonusly is that engagement can vary by team. If recognition isn’t consistently encouraged, some employees may receive fewer shout-outs than others. However, this is more about how the tool is implemented than the platform itself, and with strong leadership support and clear guidelines, Bonusly can be very effective.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

onusly solves the challenge of consistent and meaningful employee recognition by making it easy for anyone in the organization to give timely, public appreciation. Instead of recognition being limited to annual reviews or manager-to-employee praise, Bonusly encourages peer-to-peer acknowledgment in the flow of work. For me, that translates into a more positive team culture, higher motivation, and stronger alignment around shared values. Seeing frequent, authentic recognition boosts morale and helps reinforce behaviors that drive our success.

 ### 25. Fun, Visible Recognition with Bonus Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joselyn E. | Assistant Case Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly to recognize and reward my teammates for their hard work. It's a super easy and fun way to give small bonuses. What I like most about Bonusly is how it makes recognition fun and visible. I love being able to give quick shout-outs to teammates and see their contribution celebrated across the team. I also really enjoy how Bonusly makes rewards tangible and flexible. Team members can redeem points in ways that feel personal and meaningful. The initial setup was pretty good and easy for our team. I am likely to recommend Bonusly to a friend or colleague, giving it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think the mobile experience could be improved. I sometimes find it a bit tricky to quickly navigate between giving recognition and checking my points or rewards.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to recognize and reward teammates for their hard work, solving the problem of unnoticed contributions. It makes recognition fun and visible, with tangible and flexible rewards that are meaningful.

 ### 26. Fun, User-Friendly Recognition Tool with Room for Reward and Analytics Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandip P. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It supports peer-to-peer recognition, not just top-down appreciation, which makes appreciation feel more frequent and genuinely authentic.

The interface is very user-friendly and fun. Employees can send GIFs, emojis, and short messages, which helps reinforce a positive culture and makes it easy to share appreciation in the moment.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The monthly points allotment can feel restrictive for teams that give recognition frequently—once points run out, employees might stop recognising.

The reward-catalogue and redemption options in some regions are limited (especially outside the US), meaning employees may not see enough relevant or enticing rewards.

Analytics/reporting depth could be improved — for example, more insight into cross-team trends, ROI, or custom metrics.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It tackles the challenge of employees feeling invisible or unappreciated by enabling peer-to-peer recognition, not just manager-to-employee.

It also helps embed the company’s core values and desired behaviours into everyday work by tying recognition to what people actually do day to day, rather than saving it for yearly reviews.

Recognition and rewards become more frequent and visible instead of episodic. That, in turn, improves engagement, supports retention, and boosts morale.

Finally, it fits into existing workflows and tools (Slack, Teams, etc.), so recognition feels less like an add-on and more like a natural part of the daily culture.

 ### 27. I have loved working in a company culture that includes it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanner H.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

My experience has only been as a user and employee of a company that includes it as a part of our workplace culture. Everyone uses it and it connects us all through different timezones, locations, and shifts. It has allowed me provide reward to those who help and collaborate with me. Had never used it before here, but have loved it since.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The limitations when adding onto another post. I have had cases where i only have a couple points, and want to use what I have left but the original post gives to more people than i have points for. The ability to add what's left to the poster would be nice.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing as it relates to my work functions, but it has allowed employees to stay connected through different time zones, locations, and shifts in a way that provides rewards and reasons to engage.

 ### 28. Great for small every day recognitions of the team members

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronika P. | Security Operations Center Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Its very easy to use and you can exchange the points for giftcards in known shops like Amazon, etc. Recently they added even some cool items you can exchange the points for ! All the team members in my team are very excited when they receive bonusly and even make competitions that who replies correctly to a question or makes a task, gets bonusly.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Few times the gift card redemption for Spotify failed. The customer service though recovered the points quickly. It is a pity though we can't use this app for exchange the points any longer (at least in Spain)

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognizing team members for small every day things that helped your day, great way to highlight someone around the company also. The team members are quite excited when they get the points and even complete to receive them. It's always nice to get a small point from someone who recognized your work.

 ### 29. Empowers Team Appreciation with Seamless Slack Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candi L. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love using Bonusly to send kudos to my team members and others within the company. I enjoy that it's an easy platform that integrates with Slack, allowing me to give public kudos effortlessly. I appreciate that Bonusly uses AI to help me write thoughtful shout-outs, which show true appreciation beyond just saying 'great job.' I like being able to use emojis and giphys to express my appreciation in a fun way. It's great that I can use my pool of points for others if I run out of my monthly allotment. Plus, the options for gift cards to cash in my points are a feature I really like.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I might need reminders to give my points away if I still have some left by the end of the month. It would be nice to get Slack reminders in the middle of the month and end of the month if I have points available.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly integrates with Slack to give public kudos, using AI to ensure my recognition is meaningful, beyond just "great job."

 ### 30. Builds a Positive Culture of Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugenia B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly to recognize and celebrate my colleagues' work in real time, especially across teams and time zones. It helps me highlight specific behaviors that align with our company values and reinforce great cross-team collaboration. I love that it creates a visible culture of appreciation where everyone can see and join in the recognition, not just managers. What I like most is how easy it makes recognizing people in a timely and meaningful way. Bonusly helps solve the problem of great work going unnoticed by making recognition visible, timely, and specific. I can quickly highlight cross-team collaboration and CX wins as they happen, which is a big deal for me. It really helps build a positive, supportive culture instead of recognition only happening during formal reviews. The cross-team visibility is huge for me because being able to publicly recognize partners in other teams strengthens those relationships and makes sure behind-the-scenes work doesn't get missed. From an end-user perspective, it was very easy to set up. I just logged in, connected with my team, and could start giving and receiving recognition right away.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I really like using Bonusly, but there are few things that could be improved for me. Sometimes it is hard to quickly see a person's recognition history in context (for example by project or time period), which would be helpful when I am trying to understand overall impact. The monthly budget can also feel a bit limiting when you collaborate with many different teams and want to recognize multiple persons on the same initiative. I would also love more guidance or prompts to keep recognition messages fresh and specific over time, so they don't start to feel repetitive. One additional area that could be improved is how insights are surfaced. More intuitive dashboards or summaries (for example trend by team, project or value) would make it easier to turn all the great recognition into actionable insights.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to recognize colleagues' work across teams and time zones, making appreciation visible and timely. It helps ensure great work doesn't go unnoticed and reinforces a culture of appreciation, keeping my distributed team engaged.

 ### 31. Bonusly Builds Team Spirit, Wish Points Refreshed More Often

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy S. | Special Processing Unit, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really enjoy using Bonusly! Not only does it earn points to buy gift cards monthly but it also connects me with my coworkers and helps build strong bonds throughout the workplace! It has really brought us closer together!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Honestly for the service that is being provided for free to me by the company I work for I don't really have any complaints and am very grateful it exists! It would be cool to get weekly points or do challenges to get extra weekly points though! Sometimes having to wait a month for the points to refresh cant feel like a while but I am still grateful to be getting points in the first place!

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is solving many issues especially socially! Thanks to Bonusly coworkers in a workplace like my own are able to engage more with one another and develop a common interest! This leads to a lot of bonds being formed and it benefits everyone in the long run! It has really helped my own personal workplace and everyone I know enjoys it a lot! We look forward to our points refreshing every month so we can share funny gifs and jokes with one another!

 ### 32. Transformative Team Recognition with Bonusly, Despite Minor UX Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael J. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that Bonusly allows us to share recognition among team members, promoting peer excellence. It’s particularly rewarding because the recognition is accompanied by the ability to cash in points for practical rewards—ranging from groceries to entertainment—that genuinely enhance my everyday life. The functionality of converting recognition into diverse incentives is incredibly beneficial and adds a tangible value to our professional achievements. Bonusly’s recognition feature stands out for its ability to empower individuals through acknowledgments highlighting collaboration, problem-solving, excellence, and commitment. I find it fulfilling that rewards are visible, encouraging a culture of appreciation where everyone can participate in acknowledging their peers. Finally, I highly appreciate the seamless integration with Slack for receiving Bonusly notifications, which keeps me engaged and connected with the recognition activities.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I found the learning process challenging after setting up Bonusly. The platform required understanding all the different elements needed to create a post, which felt complicated. Additionally, the user experience is hindered by the need for too many clicks, which complicates the process and makes interactions less smooth.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find the product fosters peer recognition and excellence, offering gift card rewards for motivation, enhancing teamwork, and personal benefit.

 ### 33. A Really Nice Perk: Easy Points and Sharing with Team Members

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathanael H. | Sr Audio Manager English Production Department, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Being able to gain points for little extra things or share points with team members so they can get a small item is a really nice perk to have.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I wish I could permanently set the give feature to a specific setting like team or public. As a manager, some of what I send out I would prefer it to be private to the specific team or employee. Having the opiton always default to everyone public has meant a more private thanks to a team goes public. My manager has called me more than once to apologize because a message to me was private and a peer manager was public. He felt bad because he thought it looked like he wanted to publicly praise the other manger and hide me, when he meant for both of us to be private. If not changing that setting, maybe adding a step of selecting fully public, team or private before sending so user doesn't accidentally select wrong one.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it's helped with the smaller recognition for the extra effort folks put in. There is a building of connection with the team since we've started using bonusly.

 ### 34. Motivational Yet Slightly Frictional

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Camilo V. | Operations Reporting Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really like the incentive program, my company provides points for coming into the office is a nice little nudge, and it makes optional stuff feel a bit more worth it. It’s basically a small reward for doing the grown-up thing, which I’ll take

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think the required hashtags feel unnecessary and add friction. Sometimes I just want to send a quick, genuine recognition, and having to pick tags makes it feel forced. I would prefer hashtags to be optional, with suggestions if helpful, so the process stays fast and natural. Also, during the initial setup, I ran into an issue because I tried logging in before HR had created my user, so my account didn't work and I ended up being without access for a few days until HR fixed it.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly basically solves two things for me: it makes it easy to give people a quick shoutout (especially teammates I might forget to recognize in the day-to-day), and it gives a little extra motivation to stay on top of the usual routines. The points thing turns some “normal work stuff” into something that feels a bit more worth it.

 ### 35. Fantastic Platform for Celebrating Colleagues' Achievements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hasitha A. | Managed Services Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

We have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our colleagues' achievements, and that's something I truly appreciate. When someone acknowledges my efforts or engagement through Bonusly, it feels fantastic. It's great to have a platform like Bonusly that helps foster recognition and encouragement among us.
The ease of implementation is one of the standout features. Selecting nominators is incredibly simple, and the MSTeam integration makes giving recognition even easier. Monthly, we seamlessly use the platform to share our thoughts, and any issues that come up are quickly addressed with support from the team.
Logging in and creating a review is a breeze—no complicated setup or manual installations are needed. You simply select the receiver, and you're all set. It’s a hassle-free process that makes regular recognition effortless.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Honestly, there is nothing to dislike about Bonusly.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can recognize or celebrate not only one person but also a group of people. Otherwise, we have to go to meetings and stuff. Since we work from different regions all over the world, we should have one place like Bonusly.

 ### 36. Engaging, Easy-to-Use Platform with Great Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric A. | Assistant Manager, Social & Influencer Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I appreciate the engaging ways in which you can provide points to colleagues. It's nice to include GIFs to make it more personable.

Generally, the platform is very easy to understand and utilize. I've made it a habit to ensure my points are disbursed to my colleagues every month, so I see myself opening the application 1-2x per week.

I think the rewards system also contains some great offerings.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

At this time, I haven't had any issues significant issues. I had a minor issue where a gift card code was not working and the customer support team informed me that they'd look into it. Fortunately, I figured that it was an issue within the manufacturer's phone app and not the gift card itself.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to show valuable appreciation to my colleagues. I think these small gestures (Offering Bonusly points) really showcase how appreciative one is.

 ### 37. Bonusly is a great way to recognize and appreciate the work of your collegues.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is a fantastic platform that provides a seamless and meaningful way to celebrate the great work colleagues do every day. It goes beyond simple recognition by offering a dedicated space to appreciate the team and thank individuals for their support, ensuring that even the smallest contributions are acknowledged. By providing a visible way to show gratitude, the platform significantly boosts team morale and fosters a more collaborative, supportive environment where everyone feels truly valued for their efforts.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The main drawback is the initial limit on the number of points available to recognize colleagues, which can sometimes feel restrictive when you have a large or exceptionally helpful team. However, this has been effectively addressed through the ability to convert your own earned points into "giving" points. This feature ensures that you can continue to show gratitude and celebrate your peers' hard work without being held back by a monthly allowance, making the process of sharing appreciation much more flexible and continuous.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the common problem of workplace silos and invisible contributions by creating a centralized, transparent feed for recognition. Before using the platform, many small acts of helpfulness or extra effort often went unnoticed or were only shared in private emails. By providing a public forum for appreciation, Bonusly ensures that everyone’s hard work is visible to the entire organization.

This benefits me directly by fostering a stronger sense of connection and belonging within the team. Knowing that my contributions are seen and valued—and having the tools to easily do the same for others—creates a much more positive and motivating work environment. It bridges the gap between different departments and levels of seniority, making it easier to maintain high morale and a collaborative spirit, even during busy or stressful periods.

 ### 38. The "Good Vibes" Machine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tommaso R.

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how easy it is to give a quick shout-out to my teammates directly through Slack. It makes recognition feel immediate and genuine rather than a formal 'corporate' process. Plus, being able to trade points for actual gift cards is a huge motivator.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes it can feel a bit like a popularity contest where the most vocal people get all the points, while quiet contributors get overlooked. I also wish there were more options for custom company rewards beyond just the standard gift cards

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the issue of 'invisible' hard work. In a busy office, small wins often go unnoticed by management, but this allows us to recognize each other in real-time. It benefits me by making the company culture feel more inclusive and rewarding, even on the days when I'm just doing small, behind-the-scenes tasks.

 ### 39. Spreads Joy: Love Using This Platform at Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daysha B. | 7th Grade Math Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

This platform is so easy to use. You are given a monthly budget of points that you can give to your colleagues. You give them shout-outs and points. Then, your colleagues can cash in these points for gift cards to so many places. It truly sparks joy when you read through the threads of compliments that people are receiving and to also read the ones you receive.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Having to include the hashtags doesn't necessarily make sense to me.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think this platform boosts morale. When staff receives the points, they are able to cash them in for gift cards. I have heard so many staff members talking about how they enjoy Bonusly and what they have used their gift cards to buy. I think also when the administration uses Bonusly to give people incentives for participating in an activity, you tend to see more engagement.

 ### 40. It’s a great place to show appreciation to colleagues

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly is a great way to recognize and appreciate colleagues in a simple and meaningful way. It encourages a positive culture where people can acknowledge each other’s contributions. I also appreciate the wide variety of rewards available, which makes it more engaging and enjoyable to use.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One thing I find less ideal is that the points can sometimes feel limited, which may make it harder to consistently recognize everyone’s contributions. Additionally, some rewards may not always feel relevant or appealing depending on personal preferences.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps address the lack of timely recognition in day-to-day work by making it easy to acknowledge colleagues’ contributions. It creates more visibility for the work people do and encourages a culture of appreciation. For me, it’s beneficial because it helps me feel more connected to the team and motivated when my efforts are recognized.

 ### 41. Easy, Intuitive Recognition—Wish for More Gamer Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan G. | Help Desk Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is great for a lot of reasons, but I think that some of the best are that it allows you to interact with your colleagues in a more dynamic way when it comes to feedback and getting help with things during your workday. It's simple and easy to set up and use, and very intuitive.

I like being able to give my colleagues a thank you that has some hard value to it, and Bonusly allows me to do that very often.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I'm an avid gamer, so I'd love to see more redemption options related to that! Some examples would be Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox gift cards

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making recognition a lot simpler across our whole company. We used to spend a lot of time thinking up prizes and rewards for employees who do good work, but Bonusly simplifies all of that.

 ### 42. An Easy Way to Appreciate Your Coworkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayco O. | Customer service representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is that it provides a simple and engaging way to recognize my coworkers’ efforts in real time. It helps build a positive team culture and keeps everyone motivated by celebrating small wins consistently.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

What I dislike about Bonusly is that sometimes the point limits can feel a bit restrictive, especially when you want to give extra recognition to multiple teammates in a short period. It would also be great to have more reward options or localized choices to make redemptions even more meaningful.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the problem of underappreciation in the workplace by making recognition easy, visible, and consistent. It allows team members to acknowledge each other’s efforts instantly, which strengthens collaboration and morale. For me, it’s helped create a more positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to keep performing at their best.

 ### 43. Empowering Peer Recognition with Tangible Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mo A. | software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Peer-to-peer recognition means that anyone, not only managers, is able to give recognition. This approach fosters a positive and inclusive culture, encouraging appreciation to move throughout teams rather than only coming from the top down. The rewards are tangible as well—the points given hold real-world value and can be exchanged for gift cards, charitable donations, or custom rewards established by your company.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Recognition sometimes comes across as repetitive or superficial, as people may give quick, generic 'thanks' simply to use up their points. This can make the recognition feel less genuine or meaningful. Additionally, the monthly point budgets can seem limited, particularly if you want to acknowledge several people frequently.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly has made it simple for us to acknowledge and celebrate one another’s contributions. It has strengthened our team bonds and helped make recognition a regular part of our daily work life.

 ### 44. Fun, Engaging Recognition Tool That Makes Everyone Feel Appreciated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** María Renée L. | ]Resource Deployment Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I absolutely love using Bonusly. Not only is it fun, but it’s also an excellent way to recognize the people I work with. I enjoy it because it lets me express my gratitude through written messages, and I can also add gifs and pictures, which makes sharing my feelings even more enjoyable. It really helps others feel valued and appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Bonusly. If I had to mention something, it would be that my allowance occasionally feels a bit limited, but that's really the only issue I have.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are times when simply saying thank you doesn't quite capture how much I appreciate someone. Bonusly allows me to show my gratitude in a way that makes others feel valued and recognized. I also find it to be an enjoyable and engaging way to express appreciation.

 ### 45. Great for morale and encourage of colaboration!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that it's a very user-friendly platform, the interface is intuitive and easy to use, making it accessible for everyone.
The platform emphasizes simplicity and empowers employees to celebrate each other's contributions, which feels more genuine than usual top-down recognition. The Slack integration is also really helpful at making recognition a natural part of work

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The GIF library is disorganized and search functionality could be improved. Additionally, there's no ability to type emoji syntax; you must choose from predefined options making it more complicated than it should be As well, as some employees don't allocate their monthly recognition points to anyone, and there's no automatic rollover or raffle system for remaining points

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps me recognize my peers for all they do and let the rest of the team to know they do great!

 ### 46. The Easiest Way to Celebrate Wins in a Busy Workday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo C. | CRM Solution Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It democratizes appreciation. It’s not just top-down; seeing peers recognize each other for small wins creates a much stronger sense of team unity and visibility for hard work.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The 'use it or lose it' monthly point system can be a double-edged sword. Sometimes it leads to a flurry of less-meaningful recognition at the end of the month as people try to use up their allowance before it expires.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the isolation problem in remote work. The social feed keeps us connected and gives us a space to celebrate together, regardless of where we are physically located.

 ### 47. Bonusly Makes Employee Recognition Meaningful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumeet P.

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The Slack integration is a big plus because it fits smoothly into our daily work, and seeing shout-outs publicly is always a nice morale booster. The rewards are practical too, which makes the points feel meaningful. Overall, Bonusly helps create a more positive and connected team environment.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

For larger teams, meaningful contributions can occasionally get overlooked since recognition depends heavily on peers noticing and taking action. While the platform is easy to use, having more customization in rewards or point distribution would make it even better.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of recognition being inconsistent or overlooked in day‑to‑day work. In many teams, good effort often goes unnoticed, especially when everyone is busy. Bonusly makes appreciation quick, visible, and easy, so recognition happens more regularly instead of being saved only for reviews or big milestones.

 ### 48. The Impact of Bonusly on Engagement and Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jorge Luis M. | Accounting Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like most about Bonusly is how it turns recognition into a daily habit rather than a formal process. It makes appreciation visible, reinforces company values, and strengthens collaboration across teams. I also like that it connects recognition with real rewards, which increases engagement and motivation in a meaningful way.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

While Bonusly is a great tool for recognition, its impact depends on consistent participation and thoughtful use. At times, recognition may become repetitive or concentrated among certain groups. With stronger guidelines and broader engagement, the platform could be even more effective.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly addresses the lack of consistent recognition and feedback. It benefits me by making appreciation more visible, improving team morale, and reinforcing positive behaviors.

 ### 49. The Best Employee Engagement Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really like Bonusly because it incentivizes people to recognize each other and, at the same time, incentivizes people to help each other, it is the extra little push that comes nicely.

I enjoy bonusly because it is public all recognitions and that translate into something on real life with the Gift Cards available

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't like that we must have a minimum amount of Bonusly Points to convert into a Gift Card, but I understand it is necessary, and the currency of the Prepaid Card is USD, so sometimes, if I use it in a store I need to pay extra fees because of the conversion to another currency. Maybe if I could select my own currency could be nice!

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teammates helping each other and earning money because of that.

 ### 50. Bonusly is the greatest tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie B. | Senior Sales Engineer, Growth Products, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how easy it is to provide a nice thank you to colleagues for assisting with things and bringing transparency to their actions using Bonsuly. It is a tool that my team uses daily and we love it!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I really haven't found any negatives with Bonusly. It provides great incentives inside our organization and allows you to take your points and choose whatever rewards fit your needs, whether it be gift cards or Paypal cash.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is allowing our organization to incentivize and reward each other internally for a job well done, and it really does bring a high level of transparency for individuals who are always going above and beyond to be a dream team!
