I have been using it for several years now and recently switched companies. After using a different service at my new employer I was convinced to switch to Uniqode. I love the ease of use and being able to quickly create great-looking QR codes that I can implement in our marketing efforts. **What do you dislike about Uniqode QR?** The price was initially an issue when comparing Uniqode and the other services we are switching from. I think in reality though the features and benefits you get from using this software overcomes the cost of the software. **What problems is Uniqode QR solving and how is that benefiting you?** The dynamic QR codes allow us to make marketing materials that can last longer without having to change the physical code. The ease of use is certainly outstanding. The frequency I use these QR codes are becoming more often to be sure, as customers are expecting them more often in print items that I design. Having this interface with plenty of options makes it easy to impliment and use. The number of features continues to grow! Wow. and integrating it into my print documents and business cards is outstanding. **What do you dislike about Uniqode QR?** The only thing I found slightly difficult was navigating the changes to some of my products as a result of aquisition or merger, but these things happen, and in this case it was far better in the long run. I'm able to change them as I go along. So if we rebrand, I can change the code appearance without ruining the function of any already printed codes. I can also put a QR code on a marketing banner and change the link or the landing page so that I can change the use of already placed codes. The program is also fairly easy to use and figure out. While it's easy to figure out, having a quick video or something would make it a little faster. But mostly illustrating the possibilities that I hadn't thought of before would be wonderful! Now, when I need to give someone my contact information, I simply pull out my cell phone and have the QR code on my screen and then ask the person to scan it and add me to their contacts in their phone. It is incredible simple and effective! People love that they don't have to try to type in my long last name and even longer e-mail address in to their phone. The software is really easy to use and customize your QR codes - which provide excellent legibility at any scale. The back end reporting tools are very good, and one thing I did not think to look for was how easy it is to organize my library - which really helps when you get the request for a QR - to be able to find the ones we've =created and used in the past. **What do you dislike about Uniqode QR?** There isn't anything I don't like. The product works, it is innovative. We have used them to bring our brochures to life. Why type out some big, long link that you know nobody is going to put into their browser when you can put an easy to scan QR code there? And you can put your logo all over the thing for some great branding too! **What do you dislike about Uniqode QR?** I don't know if it is fair to consider this a "downside" per se, but I wish the digital business cards were part of the main subscription as opposed to an add on. I spent a long time avoiding purchasing a software such as this. I thought there was no reason to spend the money and that a free version was all that we needed. A few faulty QR codes later, I gave it a shot and have never regretted it. Not only does beaconstac make sure our QR codes are accurate, but we have the ability to update it at any point and track it's usage. And, they are all dynamic codes so you can change them even after something is printed! I am not sure if it is the still the same and it did seem like something that once you set up would be easy to use moving forward. We were happily and succesfully using the product for months before things went south. They recently "ported" us to their new Cards platform without any notice and then informed us the price we would need to pay in the future will be 10x the price we signed up for ($99 -> $1000) a month. On top of that, this update broke all of our digital business cards and it stayed that way for weeks while we waited for them to fix it, and they offered no credit for loss of service. The other change they made is that it used to send the digital business card directly to the employee via email so they could add it to their Apple or Google wallet, but now it will only send it to the "owner" of the card which in our setup is one of three admin users, and now I have to forward the email to each and every employee myself manually. The solution they offered is to pay for 250 additional users and then I have to manually reassign each business card to the proper user, and then they can receive the email directly. Support has essentially told me too bad and either spend a LOT more money or deal with it. They are essentially telling me what would have been considered a bug before is now a feature, and one that I have to pay for in order for it to work correctly. The loss of development time and money, along with the new development we're going to have to do to interface with another provider, is really disheartening.
