I appreciate that you don’t necessarily need to have a landing page built out on a website. Beaconstac allows you to create linkpages, V-cards, and forms within the site so that you don’t have to utilize a third party service. And, they are all dynamic codes so you can change them even after something is printed! The best part is you can edit the codes to any color combination using hex codes and download in multiple vector format, never sacrificing quality. **What do you dislike about Uniqode QR Code Generator?** Two years ago the bulk upload situation was a little complicated with having to use a third party plug in / integration. I am not sure if it is the still the same and it did seem like something that once you set up would be easy to use moving forward. We were happily and succesfully using the product for months before things went south. They recently "ported" us to their new Cards platform without any notice and then informed us the price we would need to pay in the future will be 10x the price we signed up for ($99 -> $1000) a month. On top of that, this update broke all of our digital business cards and it stayed that way for weeks while we waited for them to fix it, and they offered no credit for loss of service. The other change they made is that it used to send the digital business card directly to the employee via email so they could add it to their Apple or Google wallet, but now it will only send it to the "owner" of the card which in our setup is one of three admin users, and now I have to forward the email to each and every employee myself manually. The solution they offered is to pay for 250 additional users and then I have to manually reassign each business card to the proper user, and then they can receive the email directly. Support has essentially told me too bad and either spend a LOT more money or deal with it. They are essentially telling me what would have been considered a bug before is now a feature, and one that I have to pay for in order for it to work correctly. The loss of development time and money, along with the new development we're going to have to do to interface with another provider, is really disheartening. Online analytics makes it much more usable. For example, after giving a speech at a conference/training/seminar, you can immediately see how many participants have used specific QR Codes. For safety purposes - if my customer sees a link with a familiar domain, it feels much safer to open or click. I've used dynamic QR codes to drive people to my email, website, landing pages, and social accounts, to name a few. PLUS, when using the wizard, you can't go wrong setting them up. I do use the paid account, but it's worth knowing that the QR codes work. Just today, someone used a QR code that was part of a VERY old presentation on YouTube that went to a workbook and handouts. Much to my shock, it still worked. So, dynamic really means dynamic. Also, the analytics that is behind each QR is outstanding. I know the # of scans, users, and unique users. Also, the top performing campaigns, the type of device used, and the location - just to name a few data points. The last bit, which is a "nice to have" but is still pretty cool, is that you can customize the look. I can create the QR codes in my branding colors with my logo centered on them. **What do you dislike about Uniqode QR Code Generator?** Nothing, it's so crazy easy to use. I rarely find a QR code that doesn't work in testing. **What problems is Uniqode QR Code Generator solving and how is that benefiting you?** I give frequent presentations on multiple topics. It can be hard to keep the resource links straight. I use the QR to send people to the resources page for that presentation. I can then change the resources without changing the QR code. Secondly, I use the QR codes for emails to send people my "one-pager" I set up the QR code with my email address and created a filter in Gmail. When I get an email from someone using that QR code, they are automatically emailed my marketing information. This can be easier than sending them to a website, as they have all the information they need in their hands. Third - I use the QR code to send people to product demo landing pages. Again, it's removing the barrier of hoping someone gets the URL correct. ### 35.
