## Azendoo Reviews
  ### 1. Organizer and manager of activities.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candice E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The functions offered allow you to carry out the management of activities, in a much more organized way, achieving better performance and development of each of them. I like the ease of use and integration it offers to users.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Some of the functions are not so attractive and useful at the time of handling and developing them or that is what I have noticed, it is the only bad thing that I can comment of the same one.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a tool that allows you to carry out the management of all the activities that are developed by each one of the members of the work team, managing to maintain an effective yield of each activity, obtaining an access to all the yield of the activities.

  ### 2. Very good to organize projects and improve teamwork

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven P. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The service offered by Azendoo is very good, has the ability to share work from anywhere, in a comfortable, fast and highly organized way, makes teamwork much more efficient, and reduces the time lost when organizing each draft. The ability to filter and classify priority emails in the inbox is very useful to be more aware of the most relevant information.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I did not like that the initial configuration time was more intense than we had thought so that the tool would be 100% operative, the learning curve was also a bit long. But good to note that all the time spent was worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

This tool is very reliable and efficient to manage large or small projects, devote the necessary time in learning to use the tool to perfection. That will make it easier to use the tool and make all the necessary configurations.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the use of Azendoo we are working more organized and more efficient, it facilitates the administration of projects, tasks and workflow, it also allows the different work teams of the company to work together and share information very easily, that keeps the teams informed of the changes and progress made to the project, another great benefit is the increase in the company's productivity.

  ### 3. Organize projects and daily tasks very well

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth V. C. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The ability of this tool to create and organize the projects of the company is very effective, it is easy to optimize the work flow and give priority to the most important tasks of the project, the user interface is very easy to understand and work on it.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

What I did not like about this software is that in principle it was a little complicated to incorporate all the necessary information to be able to work with it at 100%, all more time than estimated. However I have to say that after completing that process it was worth all the effort.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

This tool is very good to keep the work well organized I would recommend it without hesitation.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small company and this tool was very well adapted to our needs. we have been able to improve teamwork, this allows us to reduce the time lost when we are full of work, with this tool it is very easy to give priority to the most important tasks or that they are a little behind has been very good investment.

  ### 4. Versatile, Easy to use, fast setup!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather H. | Owner, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

LOVE being able to differentiate between Due Date and planned work date. BEST feature by far! ALSO loving the ability to create several tiers of subtasks on any given parent task. Very handy for my line of work.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I do wish that on the "My Tasks" page (when you click My Tasks in the top left corner to see tasks across all Subjects) would display what Section title each task is associated with when used. I sometimes have many tasks with the same name for different people/projects, and it can be confusing and frustrating trying to figure out which person's stuff I'm looking at.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

If you like Trello and/or Asana, this will probably be a fantastic product for you. It combines features from both but adds in its own spin to things. Fantastic platform! Took all of 30 minutes to learn and teach to my team.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminating the need to populate google calendar with my tasks to get a birdseye view of my availability. Also fantastic for ensuring nothing gets forgotten and keeping things organized. my project manager's work time has been cut in HALF!!

  ### 5. Changed the way I tackle my workday

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo G. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The service offered by Azendoo allows to collaborate and share work from anywhere, in a really comfortable and organized way. Through Azendoo (a platform that I consider also as a social media tool), I can gather all our content from different services like Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox or Box, and thus manage it all in the same place, simplifying the task of carrying out collective and collaborative work. Azendoo's main objective is to improve teamwork and reduce the time we waste when we're really busy. Without a doubt and, for the moment, this is the main advantage that I have experienced in different collaborative projects and with several service providers. One of my most loved features that this tool provides is the email sorting and filtering that it performs on our inbox, according to our priority projects. In this way, it only provides us with the relevant information for the tasks we are interested in at that particular moment.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Like every other project management tool, it only works at best when you fully use it. And, in Azendoo's case, is not easy to totally migrate to it. It needs some adoption and adaption time, and this time can multiply with every other team member that joins the project on Azendoo. Truth is, I've seen other tools do better in this "onboarding" and "adaption" area. But, if you manage to get pass through this barrier, it's totally worth the initial effort.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Take your time to make sure everybody uses it at its full capabilities.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documents, conversations and tasks were scattered among a lot of different channels and services - now we have all together and everyone is (almost) on the same page.

  ### 6. amazing, i love it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armel N. | Creative Director, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

How it is optimised and easy to use both on mobile and pc. How easy it is to stay connected with your team. Check your teammates’ activity and easily get in touch by instantly messaging or calling them.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

There should be more colors for the subjects and support more file extensions. Easier calendar optimization, right now its ok but the calendar overview could be better done.
Maybe a Kant style one as well

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Its amazing try it for at least the trial period

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being organised, managing various accounts had always been tricky for us plus Azendoo integrates with Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, Box, plus over 80 external services through Zapier.

  ### 7. Great productivity app

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pierre B. | Change Maker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I really enjoy the listing features and the collaborative tasks. The UX Experience is really intuitive and it only took me 5 minutes to understand how to use the app. Great job!

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I don't really like the community sidebar on the left, I don't really understand its purpose and I don't feel like I will chat anywhere else than on the tasks themselves.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really improved my productivity with my team that can now assign task, great product !

  ### 8. Wonderful. Tried it myself, now my whole organization is going to use it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Easy to use with a variety of interfaces. You can have lists, or a memo board view. I LOVE the ability to take emails and make them tasks seamlessly. I've been looking for a long time and this product is great. The mobile app is great too.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Right now, I love everything :-)The only problem is that my purchasing dept. didn't fulfill the contract in time, and I've had to purchase a personal account while waiting for the work subscription. It's only $9 and the support has been great

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT has helped me personally managed several projects. We haven't used as a team yet, but once it goes through purchasing we will. Several people have tried it on staff and all of us are sold.

**Official Response from Grégory LEFORT:**

> Thanks a lot for your comments.
We look forward to having your team onboard!

  ### 9. I like Azendoo but I'm still missing Slack

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Direct messages is an amazing tool, wish I could have direct a message to more than one person at a time.
The tasking and the activity board are amazing, it's a great way to keep the whole team up to date about themselves as well as the rest of the team. The ability to manage different projects at the same place and being able to quickly move from one to another is wonderful.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

-No way to direct msg a group / Group chats
- When you want to push back the dates for a list of tasks the months are not moving forward according to the last task the was updated
-Direct msg feed is not always in sync with the phone
-Hard to review a shared document without it being downloaded - sometimes I only want to have a look and not download to my machine. I also hate Safari as the default to open files. There are no settings. Some files are not downloadable
- Based on the dates in the tasks, I wish there was a way to see a progress bar representing the whole project

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Supports a big team working on many projects at the same time. Easy to use.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Making sure the team is up to speed with the projects schedules and each individual knows his / her tasks.
- One place to share all documents and comments and an easy way to find them at any time

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

- All conversations are real-time and we opted for threaded conversations because they enable context based discussions, where group chat fails.

- Mobile apps needs to be refreshed via the pull gesture in order to be synced. We constantly update our mobile apps with improvements and this will be part of future improvements.

- The best option to collaborate on documents is to host them in shared cloud services such as Google Drive so there is always one version, updated in real time, and no downloads are required.
More information here:

http://help.azendoo.com/documents/how-to-upload-attach-and-share-documents

- The time tracking feature enables you to track advancement on your tasks via a progress bar. So does the subtask feature. However a timeline view based on task dates is on our roadmap.

  ### 10. Keeps me and my team organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I like the separate workspaces for larger clients otherwise some of the task lists get too long. With separate workspaces I'm able to break up subjects by type of task is in it. We are also going to start looking into making this a client facing product that we can use to collaborate with folks outside of our organization. This will ultimately reduce a lot of emails going back and forth which would be extremely helpful. Our design team has also started using the time tracking by task which will help us get a better understanding of how many hours are being allocated to certain kinds of projects, ultimately helping us to see when we need to hire more team members and where.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I find it difficult to read through a list of tasks and quickly find what I'm looking for. Search bar could have some filters added to choose specifically where I want to search. The boards function you recently came out with is a neat tool but not sure how much I use it on the project management side. We're still fine tuning how we want to use that.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

It's a lot to learn but it's worth it. Just need to keep using it and watch the helpful tutorial videos. I'm working in it most of my days.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every day business tasks, both internal and external also large projects.

  ### 11. It's like Facebook, but for work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piti Golf K. | eLearning Instructional Designer, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The ability to create a simple task along with subscribers. I can also create sub-tasks with priorities and due dates. The task also can include any attachment. The messaging and direct messaging features are awesome.

Moreover, the analytical data showing the activity and project status is very useful. The tagging/mention feature is very helpful when I'd like to mention someone on team for the particular conversation or comment.

I've used Azendoo almost three years. They have been improved their features tremendously, making everything easier. You can access Azendoo by either browser, desktop application, or Mobile App!

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I don't have any particular feature that I do not like. All the features are very easy to use and effective.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

We use Azendoo to manage our large project like Online Program and Course Development at an institution. We have about 20 team members use Azendoo to communicate and delegate the tasks daily. It recorded the project status and workflow effectively and efficiently.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have about 5-6 team members working on the same project. Azendoo help us create a better workflow and effective communication without any interruption.

  ### 12. Free your mind and work better!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Déborah M. | Customer Happiness Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The tasks allow me to organize my work, to prioritize, to forget nothing and especially allow me to be focused on a task at the time without keeping the other tasks somewhere in my head by fear of forgetting them : free your mind and focus! (PS: I really like the boards!).

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I would like to have the possibility to organize the topics better (thanks to subtopics for example). Also, it would be great to have the possibility to give subtasks to different persons. Also, I feel like as a team, we are not using all the possibilities we have because it's not really clear what we can do.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

You think that you don't need Azendoo but when you'll have it, you'll realize that it's really necessary!

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azendoo means organization, prioritization and communication! It helps me to work better, faster and on a more efficient way individually and as a team. A good method to increase productivity.

  ### 13. The best organizational tool on the market.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah A. | Team Lead, Trunk Show Operations, Apparel & Fashion, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

It has cleared all of the sticky notes off of my desk!! When I work from home I have my to do list without planning ahead to bring everything home. I plan a lot of tasks for the future so I don't forget to do them. It's great to be able to put tasks on co-workers task lists. We as a company use this product between departments to remind each other of deadlines and project updates. I also really like that I can see the progress of a project without bugging someone on the status.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I don't like that the cancelled tasks are never really gone. Sometimes I make a mistake and I want to delete a task. I don't get what the activity list is for nor do I see it's benefit. And mine just shows myself and one other co-worker's tasks. I know others are using it just as much as the two of us.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

I would for sure recommend this product as it helps keep me organized and I'm sure it would do the same for others! I'm loving the board feature as I separate my tasks by things that HAVE to be done today.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Azendoo across departments to add tasks to each other's lists for the day. As apposed to an email getting lost in a inbox. This product is also great when a co-worker is gone, planned vacation or even sick, the rest of the team can pick up right where they left off.

  ### 14. The best tool to organize my work and collaborate with my colleagues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megane D. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I love completing a task and checking it and at the end of the day I can see all the work I've done, it is really rewarding! Moreover, I don't forget anything to do, I can easily write what I need to do today or in several weeks as Azendoo will remind me to do it.
Notifications are very efficient to follow projects and tasks.
Finally, the board view is really useful for development projects, it allows do the scrum method.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

There is no possibility to chat with several persons. So I don't really use the chat.
I'd like to organize my subjects in different folders or hide the subjects I don't use, because we have a lot in the team, so it is hard to find some subjects sometimes, even with the search tool.
If the co-workers don't use or check Azendoo regularly, it can be frustrating for others as they won't answer the questions or validate documents, so it can delay your own work.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

This is a good tool to facilitate, improve the communications in the company and work in collaboration with colleagues on different subjects.
For example, I can upload a document to have the feedback / validation of my colleagues, and I don't need to wait they are free to ask them questions.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The communication between co-workers is only via Azendoo, we don't use emails anymore. It allows us to remind the conversation to a specific task or project.

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

You may be able to get more value out of the threaded conversations than the chat conversations are available to all subject members. Also, they can be shared across subjects to reach wider or different audiences.

To better organize your Subjects when there are many of them: insert acronyms. For instance: Mkt event or Mkt website. By doing so you find more easily you Subjects in research bar.

Additionally you can pin Subjects as they can appear in priority in your Subject’s list.

Then when projects are over don’t hesitate to archive them, so that they do not show up in search results. More information here:
https://help.azendoo.com/subjects/subject-administration/how-to-archive-a-subject

One way to keep your co-workers on track is to check the notification settings with them directly. You also can make them install the mobile application so they get notified even when on the go.

Please reach out if you have questions or need any help.

  ### 15. Azendoo helps me keep organized with my team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy J. | Creative Strategist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Azendoo is an excellent tool for delegating, sharing and discussing tasks with my team. We have almost eliminated email entirely from our workflow, which keeps us focused, not distracted by incoming messages as we work on one task at a time.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

The only thing I *dislike* about Azendoo is that I can't make the design interface even more clean and clear - I'd love to have a background or color scheme option that brightens and lightens and provides more visual white space. Oh, and I actually would like to be able to mark a notification as unread if I want to go back to it later!

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been able to start delegating tasks with ease, assigning priorities and deadlines, and answering questions from my team quickly. I can also map out an entire large-scale project, item by item, responsibility by responsibility, and create a deadline to make it happen.

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words Amy! We truly appreciate your feedback and the time you spent reviewing our product.

There is a way to mark a notification as unread to get back to it later on. Here is how to do it: https://help.azendoo.com/notifications/in-app-notifications/notification-center

Oh by the way we are currently working on a new design that will make Azendoo clearer (more whitespace in task lists) and customizable! Stay tuned for news coming soon :)

  ### 16. Perfect For My Small Team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The fact that Azendoo is a major time saver for communication is a huge plus. We utilize the tasks and the calendar view mostly. As we move forward the discussions are great to document conversation about something rather than phone or email. I also like the notification system across platforms; desktop & mobile.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

The mobile app has a couple of bugs on iOS that sometimes affect my workflow. I also think that the base price should include more team members.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Azendoo has great features for small businesses. It's been a great project management system for us and I'm excited for the future using this program.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azendoo keeps our projects organized. Before Azendoo we were managing projects thru email and it was chaotic.
The benefits (other than keeping me sane as a project manager) is that I know exactly what's going on with every project I'm working on.

  ### 17. Azendoo is a lightweight, yet sophisticated project management platform.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben L. | Co Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I like the simplicity of task management with Azendoo. It's easy to enter in a whole bunch of items and fill them in/categorize/triage them later. Their mobile app nicely integrates with the larger platform allowing for project management on the go. Additionally, their spatial layout, which is important in any project management product, is a step in the right direction from the Byzantine layout of products like Asana.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I dislike that the first thing I'm presented with when I open the app isn't either my current task list or the last view I'd been looking at, but rather their "activity" dashboard. For any task or project management platform, I want to see what is coming up next, not stuff that has happened in the past. Secondly, I find Azendoo too easy to recede into the background. A project management or task management solution needs to strike a difficult balance between being too in your face annoying and just annoying enough to keep you on task. I feel like they could easily add more configuration options to improve this aspect of the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

I think it is important with any highly personal fit based tool like a project management platform that you use it for a reasonable amount of time. This is almost always longer than the "free trial" period. Give it some time and see if it works for you and your team.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Azendoo for personal task management of my startup of <10 employees. It lets me nest tasks, label, tags, etc. as well as divide my never-ending task list into logical groupings. After trying numerous platforms for project management such as Trello, Asana, Flow, and others. I've been using Azendoo for several months and find myself enjoying it at this point more than most other task management and project management solutions I've used in the past.

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hello Ben, and thanks for the review.

We are currently working on an interface revamp and opening your personal task list as a default is part of the changes. You'll also have a clearer separation between your tasks and the team tasks. Expect this change in the next few weeks.
About your second point, we are also on the brink of adding automatic reminders for each due date on tasks, meaning you'll be notified of each of your due tasks everyday (unless you opt-out). I hope this will make Azendoo just annoying enough 😉

Also please reach out to us directly if you have additional interesting feedback so we can keep moving Azendoo in the right direction.

  ### 18. Inter office organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista B. | Manager, Apparel & Fashion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I love that the office can stay on top of everything we have going on, in one organized spot. I can add links to the art work, keep as many tabs as we need. This program allows employees to know what exactly is expected of them for the week and what we having coming up. It makes for less questions and more time being spent on the actual work day. I have used this system at every shop I have been at and it never fails me. I would recommend this to anyone looking to organize and efficiently run their shop.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Nothing. If I had to pick something it would be the billing system. I would rather and lump sum for up to this many users instead of having to pay per person using it. With it being per person there are some people at the shop that are combined into users. Embroidery is one and screen printing is another. It would be great if everyone could have their own sign on. Coming from and small business we try to save money where we can.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

If you need organization in your business this is the software for you. I can not speak enough on how much this frees up my time as a manager. I do not have to constantly remind or tell employees what we have going on for the week, it is all right here for everyone to see. Assigning tasks and deadlines is wonderful and you can even have an inter office chat if need be all right from the software. I don't know why you wouldn't be utilizing this.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Even though we are a small shop it gives our owners who are not present during the work day and way to see the happenings on a daily basis. This creates less paper work, spreadsheets and steps for the myself and my employees, creating more time for other tasks. This allows the owners to see what are prospects are, what work we have gotten done, what we are working on and if all deadlines are met or lapsed. I like how everything stays on the system and we can search for clients, art work, or orders at anytime. Even though the job may be marked as completed we can still access the information and reference it at any time. This limits time looking through drop box or our computers, everything is here in on spot with easy access to all.

  ### 19. I love Azendoo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I and my co-workers simply love it. We've been trying so many task management tools, and there's no tool like Azendoo. It's easy to organize your tasks the way you want. The whole team can get involved with the tasks, and each one of us can manage our duties the way we feel it's more productive.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Translation to Portuguese (BR) isn't very good, so I use it in English.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Try it for one or two months. You won't regret.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Azendoo, we can manage tasks that involve a lot of people. It's easy to organize priorities and to navigate through projects. The big deal is: you can adapt Azendoo for your routine. The tool adapts to you.

  ### 20. Best organization tool I used !

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

It is a very easy to use, ergonomic & pleasant tool, and users do not need to be trained to be ready to use it, so it's easy for my customers or partners team to handle it. So I give recommandations to my customers to buy it.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

There is nothing I don't like really, but ideally if it could add others functionalities in order to manage clients by projects for example, it would be great (customer informations). And maybe to sync the organization in row of the general board with the subject board.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Try it and you'll love it !

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can follow my tasks and assign projects to my team and have a look on the work to be done in a glance. I'm more organized and efficient in work.

  ### 21. A good platform for group communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I like that we have effectively stopped work texts and emails from seriously infiltrating our days. In a restaurant scenario, we have people working nearly all hours of day and night and Azendoo allows us to optimize our communications into one transparent platform. Unlike a text where you may not be in the right mindset to consider and respond, Azendoo gives us to opportunity to take a focused time to check all these messages.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

The app offers fewer features compared to the site. As restaurant staff, we are more often on our app than on the full site. Also, we haven't figured out how to make the Tasks tool useful for our style work.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

More intuitive for our industry compared to slack or trello (it works and looks a little like facebook). More user-friendly than basecamp (we don't need all the bells and whistles).

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have figured out how to let people better enjoy time away from work by using Azendoo and not text messages. Transparency is also better with this platform, it's easier to access Azendoo message boards compared to google drive docs or email threads.

  ### 22. Good appreciation of the use of Azendoo

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The interface, the smooth interaction between users and the social network side.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

It is not possible to have a general or personalized summary at everyone's discretion without adding a tag of subjects visible to everyone. Also, the classification of tasks within a subject cannot be done by a tag or a color, but only by date, by deadline, by person responsible, or by section manually, which is not ideal. Other ways of classifying would of course be appreciated, including perhaps the possibility of being able to see only unassigned tasks (thus free).

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was a good stepping stone from another platform we had that was not very reliable. The biggest advantage with Azendoo would be the social aspect it provided us.

  ### 23. Azendoo helps us manage projects.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terry H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Azendoo has been a terrific product to help us manage projects. We are a virtual organization so a product like Azendoo is essential when we are working on large projects with multiple people in various countries. I also really like the ability to assign tasks to others - I use it for all the "reminders" we used to do by email.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

We set up recurring monthly tasks. However, if you don't "complete" the task in January, the reminder won't come up in February. It would be great if the recurrence happened whether the task was finished or not.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Discuss the benefits of Azendoo with your team - project work is all in the same place, it cuts down on emails and confusion, it streamlines work processes and gets completions done faster.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've cut down on the constant "back and forth" emails and confusion on projects that involve multiple people. This has made us more productive and allowed for faster completion of tasks.

  ### 24. Azendoo is a useful tool but a little bit anxiety provoking

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RAIET R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Visualizing the tasks in a chronological order.
Not emailing anymore for thanks, for done task, for sharing docs.
No 15 people mail loop with unconcerning answers anymore.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I dislike that task are turning red the day I'm supposed to do them : that is anxiety provoking.
I dislike I can't create following tasks : from a task you should create a task related to the one you've just done.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Tagging people allows better answer rate, but be careful it is better written with a short explaining sentence.
Emoticons are convenient too for better understanding and communication.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My boss solves business problem with Azendoo, not me. I would say Azendoo has alleviated business intelligence process.
For me, talk to everybody at once is the best benefit.

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

The option to add a due date is not mandatory. We have a Planned date that is usually enough to define when work should start and get work done on time without the anxiety of using a due date :) More on Planned dates here:
http://help.azendoo.com/tasks/what-is-a-task-card/plan-a-task

Due date flags go from blue to orange on the specified date, to red once the due date has passed and can be associated to a reminder when necessary.

You can create a Follow-up task that refer to a another task from a task card. Sorry if this feature is not visible enough! Kindly check the instructions here:

http://help.azendoo.com/tasks/doing-more-with-tasks/how-to-create-follow-up-tasks

Of course we stay available to explore these topics together, please reach out if you need further help.

  ### 25. We use Azendoo in our office on a daily basis to collaborate with stakeholders on multiple projects.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I like that there is a record of all project activity. I also like the ability to create sub-tasks within a task, as it helps me break down a project/task and keep track of smaller items.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I honestly cannot think of anything that I dislike about Azendoo.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Azendoo as a project management tool. We are able to task other team members or departments with assignments and other items related to our course development process, from the very beginning of a project to the very end. We've found the tool helps keep all stakeholders, both in-house and those who work remotely, on the same page. The instant messenger feature is great for communicating with our remote employees as well.

  ### 26. Everything our mid-sized company needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I like the quick way I can build tasks, set up checklists in them, copy/duplicate them and then assign them to members of the team.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Searching for and organizing (pin) subjects on the left bar is not a intuitive at first. It takes a little getting used to.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Azendoo is occasionally adding new features and updating existing features. One such feature that was recently introduced is the boards. There seems to be features offered for almost every project management style.
Also, implementing something like roadmaps, similar to https://www.officetimeline.com, a quick overview of tasks an moving dates around by grabbing the timelines might help show more bottlenecks and be helpful in other ways too.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of current ongoing projects that start, pause, stop, and deviate at the same problem. Azendoo helps us keep projects of various sizes and complexities from falling through the cracks and helps us identify "bottleneck" areas.

  ### 27. Privacy first collaboration platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** André V. | Head of Digital, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

- Hosted in the EU (Privacy)
-
- High Reliability
- Modern communication features (allows emojis, GIFs etc.)

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

- Search could be better
- Could make more out of Direct Messages (as of now can't replace any third party messenger service)
- Should have the option to deactivate Social Graph features (showing thumbnails etc.). Especially when sharing large link lists that can be annoying (takes a long time)

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Don't start using all the features at once.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Keeping track of the workflow
- Assigning tasks and collaboratively working on them
- Reduces amount of mails

  ### 28. Mostly effective tool for tracking task progress

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

There is a great history for each task: who made it, who reassigned it, and a timestamp for when all those things happened. Channels are nice for keeping things segmented.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I dislike that tasks cannot be assigned to more than 1 person. Also, there's no ability to add a default due date (ex: 1 day from task creation), which is a feature that I'd really like and would use often.
-When sorting tasks by due date, tasks without a due date just are not shown at all. This is not helpful!

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a distributed team (4 countries), and so it's hard to get everyone in the same room for a meeting. Azendoo lets us all stay in the loop about task and project progress.

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

Tasks are assigned to only one person to enhance the responsibility of the assignee. If there were multiple task assignees no one would truly be responsible to see the task though completion.
However, an enhanced subtask feature is coming to enable you to assign subtasks to collaborators. That should allow you to divide a task into smaller ones and share the assignments to your team members.

Thanks for the feedback concerning task lists sorted by due date. We will look into the possibilities to make it easier to identify the tasks without due dates.

Please reach out if you have questions or need any help.

  ### 29. Azendoo is a perfect blend of easy communication & project planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Our team loves the activity/"newsfeeds". We are able to very easily post comments about a project or just notices. Being able to easily keep up with top line changes and communicate with each other is a big plus. Other project management tools we've used before (Wrike, Asana, Trello, Zoho, etc) were too rigid in communication. This is a perfect blend of task planning and communicating. Its the first tool we've all stuck with.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

We could use better task breakout - like subtasks of subtasks. Create a project line and then tasks under them under each subject. Perhaps ability to group subjects as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Give it a try, it is a tool that makes keeping in touch and informed easy and not cumbersome.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize this for our task management and team communication tool.

  ### 30. Easy to use task management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Makenna U. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

I like the fact that multiple teams can work cross-departmentally on projects in a transparent way. I also love the phone app! I am able to track any changes to active projects and quickly reply to any questions or comments. It's nice to not have to wait for an email notification to come through, then to reply so much later.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Nothing to report at this time. If we have ever had something we want from the program, we've emailed them and it has been fixed! Really great response time and open to ideas to help the program work better!

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our events and marketing teams work cross-departmentally a lot and this has clarified expectations and helped keep all parties accountable.

  ### 31. Amazing tool to work with a team, and write less e-mails!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

List of task easy to use, the fact that you can add a task to a collaborator or subscribe a collaborator to one of your task so that he can be aware of the progress.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I use Azendoo at work + with an professional association (2AM). I created 2 different profiles and I have to log out to switch account. At the end, I tend to use Azendoo at work, but I don't visit 2AM's Azendoo too often (I am too lazy to log out/in!).

At work, we tend to create more and more subjects. At the end, we have too many subjects (we should delete some of them but we don't).

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Less e-mails / Better communication

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

You can regroup your subscriptions under the same account to switch faster (reach out if you need help).

Also, concerning your growing number of subjects, you should consider these options to keep them under control:
1) Star your favorite subjects so they are always within reach
2) Use and abuse of the search bars (on top and in the sidebar)
3) Archive unused subjects - you can always reopen them later on

Here are more information about starring and archiving subjects:

  ### 32. Pretty Good!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Ability to assign tasks to someone else.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

The set up is a bit clunky - having just the initials in the circles on the left is difficult because I can never remember all of them and have to hover my mouse over them to see what the actual title is. It's confusing as how to see all of your tasks and sort them by deadline. I also wish you could assign separate deadlines for each subtask.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

It's helpful. Good but could be better. It does what it needs to but it could be more efficient.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps us organized.

  ### 33. Azendoo Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

Easy organization and being able to task things to others while having full transparency. Like that it is electronic so I can assign tasks to others when out of office or to our other international offices.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Some formatting could be improved. Wish there was a way to see today and upcoming tasks in one page

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Helps reduce the number of post its on your desk and emails in your inbox. A great way to organize everything in one place, collaborate with other teams and offices, and have full transparency to what you and others are working on as well as deadlines.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has improved hand off of tasks to international offices

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

> Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

Can you be more specific about the formatting improvements you have in mind?

Thanks for your feedback about the task list idea, we are adding it to our idea box ;)

Since they released the "Board" feature, this is what I like best. It replaces Trello in everyday's tasks for our development team.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

The only thing that I could dislike is that the "Time tracking" feature is not included in our plan.

**Recommendations to others considering Azendoo:**

Just try it and you will see you cannot do without it ! Especially if your job is "software development", you enjoy Azendoo everyday :)

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | Sr. Digital Strategist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

It's extremely easy to use and the new card feature is great

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

Desktop app is a little buggy. It would be nice to have a chat function so we don't need to use Slack and Azendoo together.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everyone on task and visibility into what the team is working on

  ### 40. Still struggling to understand.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Azendoo?**

The best part of azendoo is certainly the tasks. You can create it and share with other people, who can follow the project - even when they are not part of it.

**What do you dislike about Azendoo?**

I don't like the chat. We usually lose things there and we never get it back. It's not really dynamic. Also, sometimes I want to see both the chat and the task, but it's impossible.

**What problems is Azendoo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see the whole picture of my tasks when I'm using Azendoo. It saves me a lot of time.

**Official Response from Victor Lebret:**

>
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

We feel sorry to hear about your experience around our chat feature.

You may be able to get more value out of the threaded conversations since they allow to store information and documents within subjects and can be displayed with task cards being opened.

When used with related features such as pinned conversation - to keep a conversation on the top of a subject activity feed - and the possibility to create a task from a conversation, you should be able to manage your tasks and communicate more effectively with Azendoo.

Please reach out if you need further help. We are always available to give personalized demo so our customer get the most out of Azendoo :)
