What I like most about Avoma is how it helps me keep track of meetings without putting extra pressure on me. During calls it's hard to listen carefully and write notes at the same time. Avoma removes that stress because it records and organizes the discussion automatically. after the meeting. I can quickly go back and check what was said instead of trying to remember everything from memory. Another thing I like is that the notes are structured. Important points, decisions, and action items are easier to find. I don't have to scroll through a long recording just to locate one small detail. The search also works well, which saves time when I need to revisit something from an older meeting. It also helps when sharing information with teammates. What do you dislike about Avoma? One thing I don't like is that sometimes the automatic notes are not perfectly accurate. Most of the time they are good, but occasionally a word or sentence may not be captured exactly right, so I still need to review them quickly. Another small issue is that it takes a little time to get used to all the features. There are many options available, which is great, but at the beginning it can feel slightly overwhelming. Also, if the intent connection during the meeting is unstable, the recording quality or transcription can be affected. It doesn't happen often, but it's something I noticed a couple of times. In many discussions, people talk about many things, and later it becomes hard to remember exactly what was decided or who was responsible for what. Avoma captures the conversation and organizes it, which removes that confusion. For me, the biggest benefit is saving time. I don't need to write detailed notes during the meeting anymore. Instead, I can focus fully on the discussion and participate more actively. It also improves communication with the team when everyone can access the same meeting notes and recordings. Misunderstandings happen less often. People can quickly review the discussion instead of asking the same question again. It also helps when I need to check something from an older meeting. Instead of asking people again, I can just open the recording or notes and quickly find the answer. Another benefit is that I don't miss small details anymore. Sometimes in meetings someone mentions something important for only a few seconds, and Avoma helps capture that. It also helps when new team members join a project. They can watch past meetings and understand the context instead of asking many questions. I like that it reduces the pressure during meetings. I can expound on listings and talking instead of worrying about writing everything down. It also makes follow-ups easier. After the meeting, I can clearly see what actions were discussed and what needs to be done next. Sometimes meetings move very fast, and it's hard to keep up with notes. Avoma helps slow things down later because I can review everything calmly. It also helps when meetings happen back-to-back. I don't have to rush writing notes because I know everything is already recorded. Sometime after a meeting I suddenly remember something that was discussed. With Avoma, I can quickly open the meeting and check that part again. It also helps keep conversation clear. When someone asks, "Did we talk about this?" I can simply check the meeting notes instead of guessing. Another good thing is that it helps me prepare better for the next meeting. I use Avoma for listening to sales calls and recording recruiting and internal calls. It's really helpful with not having to take a ton of notes during each call I'm in, which allows me to be more present. I like the Ask Avoma AI feature because I can look up anything and there's always context from the system and all the calls I've been on; it saves me a ton of time by not having to manually go into calls and search through transcripts. I can just ask it a question and it processes the system to find the answer, providing all the context I need from all the call histories, which is really helpful. I also find the transcript feature and summary feature excellent for recapping calls so I can just skim and not have to relisten to everything. What do you dislike about Avoma? As a new user it has been a challenge to find certain functions but fortunately, the customer service team (specifically Jay Shah) has been most helpful. Remote meetings have become a necessity and while nothing can replace the face-to-face meeting, Avoma enables us to focus on our prospect and not note taking. The detail Avoma provides ensures we don't miss anything and still allow us to make a connection, albeit through the computer, to our prospects. The video replay allows us to go back and improve our presentation skills, revisit key moments and share with others on the team who were unable to join. As a new user, their Customer Support, when called upon is responsive and thorough. Jay Shah has been outstanding and enables us to realize the full benefit of the product. We still have a long way to go but in a few short weeks we are well on our way to a full ROI. In addition to the Sales team using the product, other departments are asking to be added to Avoma.
