"Clean, Intuitive UI That’s Easy to Navigate"
4/5
What do you like best about Attio?

Attio’s UI feels clean and intuitive. Everything is straightforward to navigate, and it’s easy to use without ever coming across as overly complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

The main thing I don't like is that deals and companies aren't as intuitive to navigate compared to other CRMs. For example, in HubSpot, when you open a company, you can immediately see the associated deals, contacts, and activity all in one place. In Attio, you have to click around more to find that information, so it doesn't feel as straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Cost-Effective CRM Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Attio?

I love the fact that Attio is so simple and straightforward. The interface is super clean, and even though I was a bit confused (because it was so simple, I thought I was missing something) at first, I found it refreshing compared to our previous CRM. It's great that all the information is centralised, which helps me cross-check client details with our own platform to ensure they're correct and up to date. I also appreciate that the setup was easy; even though I didn't need to set up much, the sales team said it was super simple. Additionally, I use Attio with Google Chat through Zapier, which works well. Attio feels like a better fit for us compared to HubSpot, which was too expensive and heavy for our needs. "Attio Makes Relationship-Based CRM and Custom Objects Easy for Our Wellness Programs"
4/5
What do you like best about Attio?

Honestly, what I love most about Attio is that it’s built around relationships instead of forcing everything into one flat contact list. At Vital Path Wellness Collective, our work isn’t just tracking individual members. Every member ties to a wellness cohort, an instructor, a payment plan, consent records, and follow-up check-ins, and most CRMs struggle to map all those connections cleanly.

A few months back, I needed to set up tracking for our seasonal wellness cohorts. I didn’t have to bug our part-time shared tech support or wait for custom development work. I simply created separate objects for cohorts, class sessions, coach check-ins, and consent forms, then linked them exactly how our teams operate. The granular role permissions attach right to these connected records too. Our instructors only see their own rosters, support staff access contact and follow-up details, and billing is limited strictly to payment fields. That keeps sensitive wellness notes locked down, which is non-negotiable for us.

The CSV import functionality is another massive win. I regularly pull sign-up exports from our landing pages and bulk load new participants. Attio handles messy real-world spreadsheets far more reliably than the other tools I’ve tested. When I imported roughly 270 fall program members recently, it didn’t mangle custom tags or consent fields like our old system did. I spotted duplicates directly in the import preview before they landed in our live dataset, which saved the billing team from sorting out incorrect invoices and reaching out to confused members.

I also value how quickly I can adjust automations. Our wellness programs cycle every six to eight weeks, so reminder emails, check-in triggers, and completion alerts are always shifting. I can update these workflows independently without relying on stretched tech resources.

So many CRMs push a one-size-fits-all sales pipeline that doesn’t fit wellness operations. Attio lets us build our data model around how we actually run our member programs. It cuts down tedious admin cleanup, keeps sales coaches, instructors, support and billing synced, and works really well for teams like ours with no full-time IT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

To be transparent, the biggest pain point I run into with Attio is around bulk CSV exports and how it handles large, joined datasets. Since we tie members to cohorts, instructor assignments and billing records, I often need to pull a combined export for our billing team or wellness leads. If I’m pulling data across multiple linked objects at once, the export can get slow, and sometimes it randomly drops a few custom fields without a clear warning. Last month I pulled an export for our spring cohort with around 220 members; three consent tracking columns were missing from the final CSV, and I didn’t catch it until our support team started following up with members based on incomplete records. That forced me to run smaller, separate exports and manually stitch the files together, which ate up a couple hours of my afternoon.

I’ve also found the automation builder a little rigid for our rotating wellness schedules. We run short-run programs that kick off on custom dates all the time, and I wanted to set up a conditional trigger that sends check-in reminders based on a cohort’s start date plus a custom offset. The logic works for simple use cases, but nested conditions get clunky fast. I ended up needing to make nearly a dozen separate automations for different cohort groups instead of one flexible rule. It’s doable, but it adds clutter to our workspace and makes maintenance harder when we’re updating cycles every couple months.

Another small but persistent issue is the permission preview. Even though the granular permissions are one of my favorite features, there isn’t a quick way to “test view” what a specific role sees. When I set up access for new part-time instructors, I have to log out and sign in under a test account every single time to confirm they can’t view private health notes or payment details. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it adds extra steps to my setup process, especially when we onboard several new instructors ahead of a busy season.

Don’t get me wrong, Attio still fits our model way better than most CRMs we’ve tried. These are friction points that pop up in our day-to-day wellness operations, and they slow me down when I’m juggling workflows without a dedicated IT teammate to help troubleshoot. "Fast, Low-Friction CRM with Real-Time Visibility and Automatic Enrichment"
4/5
What do you like best about Attio?

As an SDR at Vega, what I like best about Attio is how little it gets in my way. Enrichment happens automatically, so I’m not burning time looking up company details before a call — the data’s just there. Logging notes, updating deal stages, and moving leads through the pipeline takes seconds instead of clicks-deep menu digging, which means more of my day actually goes toward talking to prospects instead of babysitting a CRM. And since everything updates in real time, I can see the second a teammate touches an account, so I’m never duplicating outreach or stepping on a deal that’s already in motion. For someone doing high-volume outbound, that speed and visibility make a real difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

Honestly, a few things slow me down. Reporting and analytics still feel a bit thin compared to bigger CRMs like Salesforce — if I want a deeper breakdown of my call-to-meeting conversion by segment, I sometimes have to piece it together manually or export to a spreadsheet. The mobile experience isn’t as polished as the desktop app, so it’s harder to update records on the fly between meetings. Some of the more advanced automation and sequencing features also feel newer and less battle-tested, so I’ve run into the occasional workflow that doesn’t trigger quite right. And since Attio is still growing fast, documentation and support response times can lag behind actual product changes, so I sometimes have to poke around or ask teammates instead of finding a quick answer myself. "Attio’s Flexible CRM Keeps Our Biotech Partner and Compliance Data Audit-Ready"
4/5
What do you like best about Attio?

As the Business Development & Operations Manager at Veridian BioLabs, our small Houston biotech team works on preclinical research and biomolecule development, and we don’t have any dedicated IT staff. We tested several CRMs before landing on Attio, and what stands out most is its fully flexible custom data structure. Unlike traditional CRMs that force you to fit your work into rigid pre-built fields for sales deals only, Attio lets me build custom objects that match our biotech workflows exactly.

We don’t just track simple sales leads. We manage research partners, raw material vendors, lab testing contractors, and institutional grant contacts all at once. I created separate custom objects for lab project milestones, material supplier compliance documents, and research collaboration agreements. Last quarter we were coordinating with 32 potential university partners for our new preclinical study. I was able to link each university contact directly to their corresponding project records, IRB documentation status, and sample delivery timelines inside Attio. Before, all of this information was scattered across Google Sheets, email threads, and separate cloud storage folders. It was a nightmare to pull together clean, audit-ready records when our research leadership needed a status update.

I also really value Attio’s built-in data enrichment. When we add a new academic lab contact, it automatically pulls in background details about their research focus, affiliated publications, and funding information. This saves me hours of manual web research every month when I prepare for partner discovery calls. The AI summary feature is another huge win for our lean team. After every virtual meeting with a vendor or research collaborator, I drop in our call notes, and Attio instantly generates a concise summary and flags action items, like sending over our material safety data sheets or scheduling a follow-up lab demo.

Email sync works seamlessly too, all messages with partners automatically attach to the correct contact record. We need traceable communication history for compliance audits, and having every discussion stored right in the contact profile removes the risk of losing critical emails buried in inboxes. The interface is clean and intuitive, so our lab researchers who aren’t used to CRM tools can jump in and update project status without extensive training.

We set up simple automations to trigger reminders when compliance documents are nearing expiration, or when we haven’t followed up with a research prospect in 30 days. This keeps our BD process consistent without manual check-ins. Attio adapts to our unique biotech operations instead of forcing our small research team to adjust to a generic CRM setup. It’s cut down our administrative overhead significantly and keeps all our partner and project data organized, searchable, and audit-ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

While Attio’s flexible data structure is a major plus for our biotech team, there are some real pain points that slow us down, especially when handling compliance-heavy research records. The biggest issue is the bulk import tool. When we need to migrate batches of vendor contacts or historical project data from our old spreadsheets, the CSV import is really finicky. If there’s any minor formatting quirk, like special characters in lab document names or long text notes for audit logs, the import will fail halfway through without clear error messages. Last month I tried uploading a list of 80 supplier contacts with their compliance expiration dates, and it kept crashing. I spent over two hours troubleshooting before I had to split the file into four smaller batches just to get it loaded. That’s a big waste of time when our team is already stretched thin with no dedicated IT support.

Report building is another frustrating area. We regularly need to pull custom audit reports that show upcoming document expirations, active research partner statuses, and outstanding action items for our leadership team. Attio’s report builder feels limited compared to other CRMs I’ve tested. It can’t easily combine data from multiple custom objects in one single report. If I want to view vendor contact details alongside their associated lab project milestones, I have to run two separate reports and manually merge the data in Google Sheets. This adds extra manual work every time we prepare for internal compliance reviews.

I’ve also noticed occasional lag when we attach large PDF files, such as full safety data sheets or signed collaboration agreements directly to records. Some of these documents are 20MB or larger, and the upload process can freeze. When that happens, there’s no clear notification whether the file saved successfully. A couple of times we thought we uploaded critical audit documents, only to find the attachment never went through. That creates risk for our record-keeping, which is non-negotiable in preclinical research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Attio’s Flexible Data Model and Fast UI Make CRM Work Feel Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Attio?

Attio's biggest strength is how flexible the underlying data model is. You can create custom objects and build real relationships between them without fighting the tool. Setting up a many-to-one relationship or a join between two objects takes minutes, and records stay cleanly linked across the entire workspace. Most CRMs force everything into a rigid contact/company/deal structure, and Attio just doesn't do that, so you can model the CRM around how a business actually works.

The interface is also genuinely fast. Filtering and sorting large lists doesn't lag, even on workspaces with thousands of records, and the keyboard-driven navigation makes day to day data work quick once you learn it.

The API and developer experience are another real strength. It's well structured and predictable, which makes automations, integrations, and imports straightforward to stand up. Between the flexible schema, the speed, and the solid API, it's one of the few CRMs that gets out of your way instead of dictating how you have to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

The flexibility that makes Attio powerful also makes it the hardest CRM to onboard people onto. There's a real learning curve. Because you're building the data model yourself, a new user staring at a blank workspace has a lot of decisions to make, and the docs don't always keep pace with how fast the product ships. Non-technical team members tend to need hand-holding before they're comfortable.

Some of the schema work is also locked to the UI. Certain things, like creating relationship attributes between objects, can only be done in the interface and not through the API, which slows down building or replicating a workspace programmatically. A few of the field value formats are also finicky and not obvious until you've hit the error a couple of times.

Reporting is still maturing. It covers the basics well, but if you need deep, highly customized dashboards it's not yet at the level of the older, heavier CRMs. Pricing per seat can also add up quickly as you bring a whole team on, so it's worth planning seat count before you scale. "Attio: The Best Single Source of Truth with Game-Changing AI Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Attio?

I love how Attio is a single source of truth for everything in our organization, and that AI is an integrated aspect of every part. The new workflows have been an absolute game changer, and adding our own models that we want to use into separate agents is even more helpful. Overall, Attio as a single source of truth is the best in the game right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

The downsides of using Attio are that it's not as developed in niche areas as maybe some other legacy CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce. For instance, the permission granting and restricting certain people from seeing certain attributes of objects is pretty surface level right now and gets us by, but it definitely could be better. There also aren't as many integrations quite yet with Attio as there are in legacy CRMs, but that's to be expected at this stage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly CRM with Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Attio?

I love how Attio serves as our team's CRM by tracking sales calls, contacts, partnerships, and customer onboarding effortlessly. It's become our single source of truth, maintaining all customer context and ensuring seamless handoffs between sales and onboarding. The way it seamlessly connects with all our tools to automate sales tracking is fantastic, and the automatic research on prospects saves us hours each week. Attio is incredibly user-friendly; as a non-technical person, I had it set up and running in just two weeks. The dead pipeline, revenue agents, integration with Calendly, and call recording are features I find particularly valuable. Initial setup was very easy, taking less than a week, and the onboarding resources provided were incredibly helpful. I also enjoy connecting it with tools like Typeform, Calendly, Google Workspace, and Claude. Overall, I'd rate it highly, giving it a 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

The integrations offered by Attio aren't as robust as HubSpot or Salesforce. There were a few other vendors we looked at for marketing or knowledge sharing that didn't have native integrations with Attio, so we had to build a workaround. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic All-in-One CRM with Intuitive Workflows and Powerful AI Agents"
5/5
What do you like best about Attio?

I really enjoy the 'ask attio' feature and how intuitive it is when putting together the perfect workflow suited for my business needs. Attio's custom AI agents make the workflows so seamless and has been a tremendous help in overcoming persistent roadblocks. As for Attio in general, it is absolutely fantastic and its all-in-one features make being a CRM developer an enjoyable experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attio?

Sometimes workflows can lag behind and aren't as fast as other CRM tools when it comes to execution. However, this is directed towards dense workflows so it is not something I am overly fussed about. Also, Attio needs to allow lists to connect to other objects instead of just one in particular. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
