**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason P. | Professional Actor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

The videos are incredibly helpful and easy to follow! You can tell with their videos and teachings that they really care and want you to succeed in this field! Very thankful and can't wait for my career in SaaS!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Can't think of anything. The program was great!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've felt incredibly lost & discouraged with my professional next steps. Aspireship opened up a new world for me and has given me the tools to find a career that truly satisfies and has lots of room to grow! I know that because of this program I'll land an amazing job and have a wonderful career.

  ### 2. Highly Recommend for Skill Enhancement and Overcoming SaaS Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeni T.

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I really like that the lessons with Aspireship are taught by real industry leaders. It's not just about learning fundamentals, but also about hearing real-world experiences from extremely successful industry professionals.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Na

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspireship helped me overcome the hurdle of lacking SaaS experience, despite my customer success background.

  ### 3. The only sales training you need.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loyal C. | Filmmaker, Motion Pictures and Film, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Comprehensive and actionable. The format enables learn at your own pace, but also makes you feel like you're making progress - not just watching random content on Youtube.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Maybe false sense of security. The program is very good. I can see people thinking they will get a job automatically afterwords.

YOU still have to put in the work. They do a great job of setting you up for success, but you have to be the one to own your initiative.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gave me a comprehensive sales system to follow.
I had read a lot of books and had a fair amount of sales experience, but not enough to consider myself a sales professional.
Now I am. The numbers don't lie. :)

  ### 4. I've Already Referred with Friends and Family

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Results with Aspireship were more than I had hoped for! We began our search for an A-player to join our team and drummed up nearly 100 candidates. Out of the 100 candidates, I only interviewed 2 (and they were "ok"). I decided to give Aspireship a try. Within a couple of days, I had interviews lined up with 6 really great candidates. Here's what I liked best about working with Aspireship:
- Knowledgable, responsive team
- Great process enhanced with easy-to-use software
- Amazing pool of well-qualified candidates

Of the 6 candidates they brought to us, I would have hired 4 of them. I was originally only going to hire 1 SDR, but, due to the quality of the candidates Aspireship brought our way, I decided to hire 2 SDRs instead.

I couldn't be happier with my experience working with Aspireship and have already highly recommended them to family members and friends.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

If I'm being EXTREMELY nit-picky, the only thing I might recommend for Aspireship to improve is that their process places them between the candidates and the hiring manager a little more than it probably needs to. I'm sure they have good reasons for that. In the end, I am SUPER happy with the outcome.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've never hired a sales team before. Aspireship helped me know how to think about the SDR role and then helped match me with the best candidates for our business's needs from their pool of well-trained, well-qualified SDRs.

  ### 5. A great way to prepare for the mindset of tech sales

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Skip Miller's words of wisdom. Understanding the role and model of SaaS Sales. This looks a a great way to start your journey and I recommend it to every person that's interested in the career.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Could help better prepare you for the personalities and adversity you face in the role. Better preparation and how to deal with unkind people and people that will continuously ignore you and how to cope with this adversity. How to manage expectations. The recorders part of the test can be cleaned up. It's a bit glitchy.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding how to uncover painpoints and ask great discover questions. Understanding the moving parts of a sales org and how to apply your knowledge. How to listen.

  ### 6. Great Sales Training & Recruiting Platform that Can Sniff out the "IT" factor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna W. | SVP/GM of the Americas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Aspireship uses their years of aggregate team experience to find soft skills in candidates to determine sales career success. Their methodology hasn't been widely adopted in the Saas/Tech space, but has been used by the very best and fastest growing tech companies in the world. They are bringing their "secret sauce" to the broader tech recruiting and sales training space to help increase the hiring pool with talent that has little, to no sales training, but that show the skillset required to succeed in Saas Sales.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Unable to search based on location, but understandable being mostly a remote first workforce post Covid.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

Be clear about your role needs ,and have a job description ready prior to engaging with them to have the best chance at finding the right fit.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Aspireship team was able to help me find exceptionally talented sales support and SDR candidates. The talent we hired from their recommendations quickly made an impact building pipeline, engaging with outbound prospects that were historically difficult to reach, and also improving sales admin operational processes. On paper, these candidates would have been turned down by the typical recruiting firm, but with the right training and assessments, the Aspireship program is finding diamonds in the rough.

  ### 7. An excellent way to get connected with high quality tech sales candidates in a fraction of the time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan W. | VP of Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Their platform makes it really easy to find quality, high-potential candidates in minutes, not days. You can quickly identify the best fit for your organization.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Not all of the candidates that come through are the right fit. The best thing to do is use their technology (via a video pitch) to either move on from a candidate or move them to the interview.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspireship solves the big issue in recruiting, which is finding quality candidates and understanding their capabilities beyond just a resume or an initial interview.

  ### 8. Great Network and Content for Interview Prep

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. B. | Trader - Recycle Commodity, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I enjoyed the video and audio role plays that vastly contributed to learning the SaaS terminology and helped develop hard skills to QUALIFY, DEMO, and Close in the mock presentations in interviews.

The Aspireship network is well respected in the industry, and their placement consultants do a great job of understanding current needs and how to place professionals.

Specifically, Christine Rogers was a lot of help through the process and provided personal communication.

Weekly/monthly Lunch and Learns and "Thursday Night Sales" are a great way to connect with other professionals working their way through the program and receive postive affirmations.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I enjoyed the entire Aspireship process.

The only thing I would have liked to see is the speed of feedback and access to network.

Aspireship needs to properly vet each individual as they will Vouch for each professional that passes the program.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to gain hard skills and speak in the industry terminology from reviewing the content within the program and participating in the role plays, where they would give feedback.

  ### 9. Aspireship review by Brandon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon R. | Director of Sales Operations, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

  ### 10. Aspireship for Enablement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peyton R. | Sales Enablement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

We use Aspireship on the Enablement side as sales training. What I like most about it is that the videos are put together in a great way that makes them easy to follow, and fun to watch! Since we have started using Aspireship, I've heard nothing but great feedback from our reps. The Enablement team loves it, and the reps love it so it's a win-win.

Additionally, Alexis is my point of contact at the company and she is always so helpful and timely in her responses. If I have a new rep to add to the system, she's my go-to!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Aspireship. Thus far I've only seen lots of positives.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have realized how valuable it is to have good sales training in place. In my experience, sales training is usually generic, boring, maybe even old. Aspireship, however, brings in leaders in the space and they do an excellent job facilitating discussions that bring a lot of value to the table, and in turn, they lead to great discussions among our reps. We have live discussion sessions after each video and the reps are genuinely excited to participate and discuss what they've learned.

  ### 11. Great program for career growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Aspireship is a wonderful option for career changers looking to enter the SaaS space. I like that it's affordable, comprehensive, and includes support with finding employment.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I haven't found any downsides of Aspireship. Ideally, I'd love to have more healthcare options on the SaaS employer side. (Meaning electronic medical records companies, etc.)

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had been looking for affordable online programs that would prepare my readers (clinicians) to enter the world of client success and sales for a long time. I was delighted to find Aspireship because it helps these people have a clear path to careers outside of direct patient care.

  ### 12. Great recruiting partner!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I love the whole concept of Aspireship. I love that they help professionals change careers and break into SaaS while also helping companies identify great talent!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

There's really nothing that I dislike. The team at Aspireship is great and the process is simple and helpful. I look forward to continuing to work with the team at Aspireship.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

The team at Aspireship is a great partner and has helped us attract talented professionals.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In this competitive job market, it is hard for smaller SaaS organizations to locate and attract quality sales talent. Aspireship finds the diamonds in the rough that are a good fit for the role and company culture. We've had a great experience with all of those that we hired as a result of our partnership with the team at Aspireship.

  ### 13. My go-to for all sales hire and sales training content! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The Aspireship video training library has terrific presentations on enterprise SaaS sales topics that always deliver. We use them widely on our team for training and refresh purposes. Whenever we have sales hires needed, we instantly notify our Aspireship contact and within a week we will have a full pipeline of great candidates to meet. I don't use any other sources for sales hiring anymore.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I wish I could share the sales training videos more easily from the video library. The content is great and it would be terrific if I could share it more easily with my team!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing and developing sales hires for early-stage SaaS startups is not always easy. Asprieship knows how to find candidates who are a good fit for our sector and also provides great ongoing training content we can use post-hire.

  ### 14. Great place to begin your career pivot

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon B. | Sales Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

This team is dynamic in their approach and how they work with each candidate that comes into the program. No matter your background, there is a way for you to pivot, and the As[ireship team helps with that!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

There is nothing that I really dislike, but I would say that there are some product limitations that they are working on. Please note, they are MINOR and once addressed will just be an overall smoother process

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company who uses their referrals we are seeing dynamic candidates sent our way who may be new to SaaS but have a firm grasp on the industry as a whole and are always receptive to learning more!

  ### 15. "Success is a journey; not a destination." Aspireship is a perfect way to sharpen your sales axe

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie R. | SOLIDWORKS Territory Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Aspireship helped me validate my sales skills and formalize my sales process, as well as focus on my weaknesses.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

The downside to the program is it is largely self-paced, and you must be motivated and committed to improving yourself as a SaaS salesperson.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now that I have completed the program I'd say the most helpful thing for me has been Aspireship Live. A few of their sessions have really spoken to me as a career AE, and helped me understand that I am not alone in some of the things I have struggled with.

  ### 16. Fantastic hiring experience with Aspireship!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luci L. | Talent Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The team at Aspireship makes hiring incredibly convenient. They're always positive-spirited, communicative and understanding in shifts of priorities. You can tell Aspireship genuinely cares about their graduates; they check in with them regularly and continue a relationship with the Employer, too!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I honestly had such a quality experience with Aspireship. There wasn't one instance where I felt the team was pushy with their candidates or lacked quality. They understand that if a candidate isn't the best match, that it wasn't meant to be.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

Give them a shot! Their candidates are hard workers who are worth taking a chance on.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In an incredibly competitive employer market, Aspireship trains & ramps candidates who otherwise likely would be declined from interviewing at a Tech SaaS start up. Our team appreciates that Aspireship preps their candidates with knowledge of our techstack. Though we have an established Sales Trainer now, we continue our relationship with Aspireship as we recognize their candidates are of the caliber we want.

  ### 17. Aspireship is awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Aspireship really listened to us and was supportive during the entire process. We really enjoyed our kick off call with the team - they put a ton of personalization into identifying traits and characteristics that are critical for our top sales hires!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

We don't utilize their video library trainings as often, mainly because we haven't developed a deep L&D program outside of initial onboarding due to our size. But, that's something that we may work with more as the team continues to grow.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're growing rapidly (we doubled in size last year and are on track to double again this year) and the biggest growth needs are in the new business team. That along with the ever-evolving job market has posed new challenges. Aspireship has helped us keep a strong pipeline through all of those!

  ### 18. Education, community, & connections that truly matter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick D. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

It's hard to nail down what I found most beneficial about Aspireship but some of the things that jump to the top of my mind are the real world job training, the skills review from experiences SaaS profeissionals, the thoughtful job placement opportunities, and the pre-vetted hiring partners.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

The only downside that I've seen to the Aspireship program is the fact that they only have Account Executive training courses. The courses that they offer are transferrable across a lot of the revenue generating roles (AE, SDR, AM, CSM, etc) but only specific to the AE role

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've built confidence in my sales skills, been hired into an exciting role via their hiring channels, and developed relationships with like-minded people that are incredible role models.

  ### 19. Excellent experience, great candidates and team becomes an extension of your own.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh P. | Director of Sales Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Really thorough process where you can vet a candidate's communication style before connecting with them through the video pitches.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

It can be a little much in terms of candidate pool (not a bad thing), but it can get a bit overwhelming when you're using multiple vendors.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring SDR candidates who, while inexperienced, have been trained in the basics. It hasn't been universal across the board, but we've had a good experience overall with faster onboarding.

  ### 20. Successfully transitioned from the fitness industry to a SaaS Sales Career!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake W. | Regional Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The communication during the hiring process is fantastic. I always felt like I knew what was going on, and it made it so much easier to make this career change while being busy with my current job and family life. Finding a new job can be time-consuming, but with Aspireship it wasn't!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

It's hard to come up with a dislike. I suppose if I had to say something, my preference would be more written learning material. While the videos were GREAT, maybe some variation in the type of content would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If you're considering doing the program, just DO IT! You'll learn a lot, and the team is so great and supportive. You won't be disappointed.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making a career change (or pivot) can be challenging. It wasn't with Aspireship. I successfully found a job within just two months of completing the program. Not bad for only spending a couple of hours a week dedicated to the job hunt during the two months!

  ### 21. Great to work with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Aspireship was a great fit for the type of role we were trying to fill. Prospects come in with a willingness to learn and have unique backgrounds.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Not much. If I was hiring for a more senior-level role I could see it being more difficult but I haven't had experience filling those positions with Aspireship.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking to grow our inside sales team. Candidates from Aspireship have come in well prepared and with levels of experience that match what we are looking for.

  ### 22. LEVELED UP OUR SALES ORG

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan F. | VP of Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

When we implemented our solution I needed a streamlined approach to training for my team. Since we are a startup it was difficult to always keep a steady pace with training and Aspireship was able to level up our sales team's skills. Aspireship was very motivating for the team because they were able to acquire transferrable skills, participate, and share their voice. I have rolled out many methodologies and training but this was so different because it is more about the reps and less about our company and product. After only 4 weeks of Aspireship, we saw a huge lift in our close rates.

On the hiring side this platform is like no other. I am a big believer in hiring based on grit and resistance and one of the hardest things to do is decrease time to ramp. Aspireship was able to help with this because the reps we are sourcing from their platform already are trained in sales process and systems. I also love that you can see how the reps interact with prospects before deciding to move forward with an interview.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

There is really not anything that I dislike about the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

Take the time to review the content before discussing it with your team so you are tying everything back to your own sales process or business. Create your own questions before your training so you can help your team get specific on how the lesson applies.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspireship has helped with decreasing time to ramp, accelerating hiring, and helped our sellers to be more effective. The biggest takeaway for me is one of the best ways to motivate sales reps is to give them transferrable skills and professional development and this is a very easy way to do that. It also fostered a do-it-yourself approach with the team that was very effective. When reviewing calls my reps would frequently reference older training videos and rewatch the training so they could improve. They would come to a sales meeting and say "I did a Discovery call yesterday that didn't go as well as it could, so I pulled up Skips video on Discovery and these were my takeaways of how I could have done things differently"

  ### 23. What an important mission, and they execute it with such passion and effectiveness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan W. | Salesforce Technical Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I loved Aspireship's online training program. It was the right balance of challenging, yet do-able. It's all online and they have an easy-to-use portal. The training is a combination of engaging videos, quizzes, and interactive practice.

I really appreciate that they don't do income sharing agreements (ISAs) like many of their competitors. Aspireship's services are completely free to candidates. They partner with lots of tech companies that pay to get good graduates from Aspireship's program.

I also really liked that they presented me to their partner companies instead of me applying directly. That way they could vouch for me. What I like about this model is that they ARE my connection in companies. This was especially important to me because I didn't have any connections in tech companies going into my job search.

One of the best things about Aspireship is its team. The people at Aspireship gave it that personal touch every step of the way, and I felt completely supported the entire time. They communicated with me in a timely manner via email, LinkedIn, video chat, and even text message. I really appreciated their attentiveness and support.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Their process is so quick, personal, and effective that I really don't have anything negative to say about them.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If you need a job in SaaS sales - whether you're new or experienced - start with Aspireship.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Breaking into the tech industry is a daunting challenge. I started to get discouraged for a while because I didn't have any connections and my applications were getting rejected without companies even giving me a chance. Then I started working with Aspireship, and in less than 2 months I've already been hired as a Sales Development Representative at a tech company. It was EXACTLY what I needed at this stage in my career to help me pivot into SaaS sales.

  ### 24. Aspireship is Amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittney G. | Sales Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The course content is highly engaging and hands-on. Instead of simply watching someone read slides off a slide deck, you get to do mini projects where you'll learn crucial skills for an SDR or AE role.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

There is no downside to using Aspireship. The course is full of relevant content. One suggestion I have is to include a video on crafting a product pitch to use when prospects ask what the product does. Also, I think they should add more role-play. The more practice, the better!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've learned so much about the BDR/SDR role and SaaS sales! I have entered the world of SaaS sales more confident and prepared. I love that SaaS industry leaders do content for the course, you gain such valuable insights from them. I am so grateful I found Aspireship, I've learned so much!

  ### 25. Started a New Industry in a Month's Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ron G. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I instantly respected the insight the courses provided. You can tell that these are people who have had success in the industry and are very capable of presenting that information in a digestible way. After the coursework was complete, the process of being placed in a new role began immediately, and I signed an offer within a week. They rewarded and validated the effort that I put into learning a new industry.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

The only thing I disliked about the program and process was the lack of a functional glossary. I found myself searching the internet for some of the terms that were used in the presentation. Minor hiccups. No one can do everything.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If you're willing to put in the work, it will absolutely pay off.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are clear- the program and people took me from in-person sales to remote SaaS sales in a month. They created a thorough course and saw me through to job placement.

  ### 26. A must for anyone trying to break into saas sales

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** zoë h. | Community/Partner Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The team and resources can't be beat. It's also incredibly inclusive. If you can't afford some of these programs or don't want to deal with an ISA then Aspireship is your best (and the only) option.

I walked away with actionable information, and valuable resources to help me be a better seller.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Love the role play practice - I wish I had more role play practice, available to me through it.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

You have to use this if you need to freshen up your sales skills or are looking to reskill/jump into the saas sales world.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally it helped me dial in some of prospecting skills so that I felt more dangerous on the phone.

  ### 27. Great learning and support in the job placement process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon D. | Director of Sales And Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Great instructional videos, relevant quizzes and assignments, straight-forward job-placement service. I really appreciated how they helped me through the recruitment process as I transitioned from running my own companies to integrating into another, larger company.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

The assignments were a little awkward, because they were pre-recorded and didn't necessarily align with my portion of the prompt. Not sure if there's a solution to this at this time other than a live instructor, which would require the service not be free.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

Just do the work and it will go great. This program really sets the foundation for modern sales and has great content. Their job placement service is top notch and really helped me in the process of completing the hiring process with my new employer.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was interested in an SDR role with SheerID. One of their AEs told me about Aspireship and how well graduates were doing in the company. I completed it in about 3 days of work, they interviewed me, and helped me apply with SheerID. They checked in with both the hiring manager and me to keep the process moving and were very helpful throughout the process.

  ### 28. Professional - Thorough - Best in Class Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff J. | VP Sales/Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The level of communication and thoroughness to make sure that we were matched up with the most suitable candidates is second to none. We were provided with multiple choices in qualified SaaS sales candidates and had a hard time choosing because of the time and effort they put into making sure we have the perfect match for our company and culture.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I can't think of a thing that was a negative in our transactions.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding highly motivated and qualified SaaS sales professionals in a tough job market. They took the grunt work away from us, so all we had to do is interview and decide. Major time and effort saver.

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The Aspireship SaaS Sales Foundation course gave me the tools I needed to get a better understanding of an industry that's new to me and the opportunity to practice what I learned. I can't thank the Asipreship team enough for their encouragement, guidance and genuine excitement for my transition into the tech sales industry. Hard work pays off, I completed the course, graduated and landed my first tech sales role in under 30 days!

5 reasons why I choose Aspireship
1. To build a solid foundation in SaaS for FREE and ensure this was the right career transition for me
2. Valuable content delivered by industry experts with practice projects. Need to do the work to graduate
3. Rockstar team invested in understanding YOU as a person and WHY you're doing the program
4. As a newbie to this industry, I knew I needed guidance and wanted to learn from the best
5. The Aspireship team cares! I'm so happy to be a part of this awesome community.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Some video lessons can be long, my personal preference is shorter vids/chunks of information. Other than that, no complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

Once again, I have no previous experience in tech sales. Aspireship is a great place to start and your efforts will determine your results. Sign up for free, plan, prepare, graduate, communicate with the Aspireship team and trust the process.

No surprises, you will have to continue putting in effort after you complete the program to ensure you get hired. You can do it!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed guidance on what the tech sales industry looks like and how to start a new career. Going through the program I realized that sales is serving and having the passion/care to help serve others is key to being successful in this industry.

  ### 31. Moving into SaaS sales from another sales industry, proved difficult until I found Aspireship!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel F. | Field Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I was having a difficult time transitioning into SaaS from the Beverage Sales industry. Aspireship literally bridged this gap for me with their course work, hiring partners and even companies I was looking at prior on my own. I loved being able to learn as much as possible about what I was getting myself into prior to making the decision to continue down this path.

All of the course work was more than informational for someone coming from a different industry, it definitely gave me a more realistic peak behind the curtain. The course helps shed light on how different SaaS sales is and how the conversations differ from some of the more traditional face to face product sales roles.

Coming from a product sales role I needed to gain the understanding of what "solution" based selling was and how different that sales process looks, in comparison. As a salesperson, many of us have the belief that we will do everything we can to get whatever the "product" is, sold. In all honesty that is not how SaaS sales is done, the better you are at listening and discovering what the potential prospect's issues and or need for solution may be, the better off you will be at providing them a "solution" for their short comings.

If you are unsure about the time commitment the team says it takes to complete this course, I would say this, if you are highly motivated to move jobs or change industries or shift your career, it is very possible to finish this in less than the highlighted 20-30 hours. I found myself in a position to make the move to SaaS with whatever resources I had, so by the time I found Aspireship, I had a hard time stopping the course once I started and was able to complete the course work in a couple days (all while holding a full time job).

There is no chance you will be disappointed with this course and the team! The team made this experience especially enjoyable. Katelyn, Ana, Christine, Corey, Alexis, Jaclyn and Jason even if indirect, made me feel like I was being taken care of and that I was absolutely in the right place to help propel my career in the direction I wanted!

I am forever grateful for these people, company and the path I am now headed down!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

This is a hard one because I can't say that there is much negative energy surrounding this company and their mission. I feel like they are doing some tremendous work and would be doing a disservice being ultra picky about what they could improve on.

The communication is the biggest piece of how they get this work done and it is near flawless. They do their best to stay in lock step with their candidates once they enter their Graduate Network and interview with their hiring partners. The feedback is next to none and you absolutely won't have this hiring experience if you were to interview on your own.

How many times do you over analyze an interview once it is over, while you wait to hear back from the recruiter or hiring manager? You won't need to worry with Aspireship because of the direct lines of communication with the hiring partners. You know exactly what is going on, for me this was the most transparent interview process I have ever been through.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If you are looking to transition into SaaS Sales from another industry or type of sales, Aspireship can only help increase your chances in landing your dream role! If you're motivated, go for it! What's the worst that can happen? (you learn something?)

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Aspireship I landed a new role with a startup here in Denver as an Account Executive. I am now know that chivalry is not dead and that people actually can have a significant impact with the work they do by simply, helping people achieve their goals. One being changing industries and careers.

The network has been the largest impact for me due to how many people are willing to bend over backwards for someone they have never actually met face to face. The people you are able to connect with and share stories with are what makes this process all the more while. You definitely understand you are not the only one going through this and that there is a community of people out there you can lean on! (Grad Network!!!)

  ### 33. Fantastic resource for current and future SDRs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryce K. | Sales Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The Aspireship team is hyper-responsive and does a great job in finding candidates that are great fits for our organization. In addition the current team benefits from the awesome continuing content and resources that they provide. The Aspireship team is also super proactive in the hiring process and this helps prevent any chance of losing out on awesome candidates and keep me in the loop with any changes as well. It feels like they are an extension of my team and they are just as dedicated to the success of my reps as I am.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I wouldn't call this a dislike per say but it would be really cool if the sales training could go deeper into some of the tactical / technical aspects of the different common technologies. I am basically saying I want them to deliver a top performer without any effort on my part, and they certainly come close.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If your tired of SDR mills that have already put the SDR in an awkward position of needing to payback a large loan and are looking for a true partnership with a group that cares and will give you high quality candidates, look no further.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipeline of motivated candidates that are quicker to ramp up and also receive continuing training and concepts that make them more successful day one and continues to help support their continued growth and development.

  ### 35. The BEST SaaS Sales Training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carter R. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

What I liked best about the Aspireship Sales Training course was that it was easy to follow for someone who didn't have any SaaS experience. For me, I had sales experience but not direct industry experience. They did a great job of breaking each part of the training down and making it easy to understand. I love that they had guests and interview them. And also really benefitted from the practice quizzes and role-plays before the certification assessment!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

There was nothing that I disliked about the course!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After passing the Aspirechip certification, I started working as a BDR for a SaaS company. There were so many benefits to the certification and training that have helped me during my first few weeks on the job, such as how to reach prospects, how to catch their attention, and most importantly how to qualify leads.

  ### 36. Fantastic resource for anyone that wants to break into a SaaS Account Executive role

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dane T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The on-camera role play seems a bit uncomfortable at first, however this exercise really helps hone and refine the skills needed for being successful in an AE role. Especially with the influx of Zoom, Teams, GTM video calls during the era of COVID.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

The quiz questions should be a tad more difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If you're wanting to transition into a SaaS AE role or looking to build upon your current role as an AE, this is the training you've been looking for. Even though I've been in SaaS sales for years, I learned a ton and the team at Aspireship will put in 110% effort to ensure your success. Once you complete the course, that's not the end of it. Their continuing education and webinars are extremely valuable and I encourage anyone to get on the Ship!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been in an AE role for quite some time. Since the SaaS buying process has evolved over the years, I wanted to see what new changes have been implemented and learn about new tools of the trade. Listening and learning about new or alternative methods from Corey, Christine, Skip and team has been extremely valuable in my role.

  ### 37. Great experience!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The team is responsive and proactive. I appreciate that they are genuinely concerned about how to provide us the best candidates for our business. These guys believe in their mission, and that is refreshing in a partner.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

The platform UX could use some additional features. But, I would assume that will get refined over time.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspireship has helped us diversify our sales organization and bring in candidates we might not otherwise have found. We had a lofty hiring goal for this year, and the team at Aspireship has been a great partner for us. We are getting candidates hired, and are excited to see how the organization grows.

  ### 38. Quality Conversations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy C. | Inside Cloud Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The simplicity of the platform, ease of information delivery and the quality of the information taught in each course.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I was pleased with the overall program with no dislikes. A course on the technical aspects of Saas could be valuable to candidates who may not be familiar with SaaS or have any tech experience.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding how to have quality conversations when selling technology, but why and why not to sell, when to sell and making sure your conversations are with the gatekeepers and buyers. The biggest benefit is being able to go back and revisit the platform to continue gaining more knowledge in the selling process.

  ### 39. Aspireship is paving the way for career transitions to tech!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie B. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I love that the Aspireship team realized the gap in education and resources for people wanting to transition to tech sales or sales adjacent roles. They saw the need and built a movement around it.

The team is super friendly and accessible, making sure you have what you need to succeed. The 30-day trial was great and plenty of time to complete the coursework. I took pages and pages of notes throughout, and the role-play simulations were a great exercise. I really enjoyed the weekly webinars with guest speakers, which in turn helped introduce me to other sales communities.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I can't think of any real downsides, per se. The only bummer for me was that I was also interviewing for other roles separately, so with the timing and availability of Aspireship partner companies, I wasn't able to interview with any of them before I moved forward with my own lead.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspireship was a great crash course and best practices training to experience right before I started a new job.

  ### 40. Extremely informative, eye opening, and easy to follow along to learn the basics of a new industry.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

The variety of topics discussed in Aspireship. It exposes you to every avenue of the SaaS industry AND different view points from different leaders with many years of SaaS experience and career paths. I also like the combination of Live videos, projects, courses, and community channels to keep you engaged.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Learning a new industry, I honestly did not see a downside to Aspireship. IF I had to say something I disliked it would be long presentations sometimes, consisting of an hour or longer but I would not say that I "disliked" it.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

If you are job searching, career pivoting, or wanting to learn something new or continue learning in the SaaS industry, give Aspireship a try! You will meet so many great people along the way that are there to help you, connect you to others, and build great relationships. The job placement is great! Aspireship helped me land my new job in SaaS.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My current problem that I'm using Aspireship for is learning and mastering the skill of prospecting in SaaS. There are plenty of prospecting, SDR tactics and interview discussions, and outbounding tips that I am learning every day. I've realized that Aspireship helped prepare me for several job interviews the past few weeks and also provides the backbone to the new specific on-the-job SaaS training that I am about to begin!

  ### 41. If you’re new or looking to make a transition into SaaS sales, Aspireship is for you.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorothy H. | Enterprise Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

1. 30-Day Free Trial
2. Self-Paced

Combine those two together and you could complete the course before the trial ends.

The reason why you stay though, goes beyond the amazing course material. The team was super helpful in helping me find a job after I passed and answer any questions I had during my job search. Furthermore, the network you build is priceless. I was able to connect with other graduates and many leaders in the industry that also helped me in securing a new job.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I would say the post-certification period was a little organized. However, they have hired more people since to support incoming members.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am both new to SaaS Sales and looking to step away from my design + marketing background. Aspireship gave me the foundation and support to translate my skills, communicate them effectively on paper and in interviews, and ultimately land the job of my dreams.

  ### 42. Best Decision I Ever Made

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison B. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

I really loved the Aspireship team as a whole. Everyone I worked with was incredibly supportive during what can be a very challenging time. I loved all the positive energy and team spirit!

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Honestly nothing. I had a really great experience!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aspireship helped me speak the language of the SaaS world. I had many interview before Aspireship that went no where because I had a hard time bridging the gap between SaaS and my current field. Aspireship helped teach me all about the SaaS world, which helped so much in interviews and eventually landed me the job!

  ### 43. Exactly What You Need to Successfully Transition to SaaS AE/SDR Role

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle D. | Business Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

Career transition support, Applicable course content, graduate community

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

There isn't much downside other than the course needs to be completed within 30 days if you want to do it at no cost. However, the team is flexible if you need a bit longer, and the monthly cost is minimal anyway.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

Take the course, even if you're not sure if a SaaS AE/SDR role is right for you - there is insightful content that will not only give you perspective but includes general tips on professional development. If you do pass the course, you will join a community of graduates and have continued access to trainings and webinars throughout your journey.

The candidate success team is A++++ and will work hard to get you in front of the right hiring partners. They want you to succeed just as much as you do! Based on my personal experience, I could not have made this transition from hospitality & events to SaaS without them (let alone within 3 short weeks after graduating the course) - just do it!

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be difficult to make a career transition, especially in the pandemic job market. The Aspireship program not only gave me applicable insight and perspective as a SaaS AE, but more importantly was the bridge to connect me directly with SaaS hiring partners.

  ### 44. Where Creative Content Meets Exceptional Staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

It is evident that Aspireship structured their course so that it would be applicable to students in varying degrees of their careers. It was easy to listen to the videos because they were conversations instead of someone lecturing. The course took me out of my comfort zone with the role playing, this was something that I needed because it showed me what skills I have and what I needed to work on.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I think the ONLY feedback that I would give is to make sure that it says somewhere in bold on scheduling emails that the times are in MST.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Aspireship I was able to connect with a really amazing company. Prior to taking the course I didn't have SaaS sales experience so although I have a ton of sales experience I wasn't the fit most companies were looking for on paper. Aspireship helped me get my foot in the door and coupled with my knowledge from the course and my experience I was hired immediately.

  ### 45. Aspireship WILL help you land your next role at an innovative tech company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yanira S. | Manager, Customer Onboarding Team, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

In addition to the friendly Success Manager I was paired with, what I liked best about going through the Aspireship program was the video simulations. Their audio and video role plays that simulate the SaaS sales environment really made me feel like I was putting into practice what I was learning. And since we all learn by doing, I felt the content was more "sticky" than going through other programs and just taking notes.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

I can't think of anything I disliked. Aspireship even gives you a free 14 days on them to explore the program. What I thought was particularly great on their part was giving me unlimited access to the Aspireship SaaS sales curriculum, live classes, expanded video library and SaaS sales assessment.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I was solving with Aspireship was building up a foundation on Sales knowledge and how to better recognize a good/bad discovery call, demo, close, etc. My work is in Customer Success but I work every day alongside Sales Reps so my goal with Aspireship was to better understand what the customer journey is like before and during the sales process.

The benefits I realized were how to humanize the sales conversation, how to drive a conversation forward, and how to develop relationships with prospects. To me, working in Sales seems very intimidating but going through Aspireship gave me the confidence to have sales-oriented conversations moving forward.

  ### 46. Valuable Learning & Networking

**Reviewed by:** Blake F. | Business Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Aspireship?**

It helped me land a SaaS sales role, with no prior experience in SaaS. I learned so much that still rings true in my job today, and it is a super valuable program to network in, and keep honing your skills while you are currently in a SaaS role.

**What do you dislike about Aspireship?**

Nothing that I would say I disliked, but I do think live role-plays with another person would be valuable.

**Recommendations to others considering Aspireship:**

The course material is so relevant to what you will do in a real world Saas sales role.

**What problems is Aspireship solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me land a SaaS sales job.
