What do you like best about AscentERP?

We liked the flexibility of the App. Over 6 years of using AscentERP, we were able to solve countless complex business and operational needs with speed. The Objects are Fields that are highly configurable and are easy to integrate into other operational apps. Since it is based on SAlesforce, it is highly integrated and scalable with the other parts of the business (sales, service, accounting).

In addition, the app comes with a lot of out of the box functionality around lot management, inventory management, purchase order planning, rentals, and BOM management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AscentERP?

In the early years, the documentation wasn't as consistent and developed as today. I would say that where we ran into shortcoming, the Team at Ascent were always there for us. From the owners to the front line, everyone cares about your business and wants to help you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AscentERP:

I don't know how you can go wrong by choosing Ascent as your ERP. I was a customer for 6 years and always felt supported and the App did not limit our growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AscentERP solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed an ERP for managing perishable lots for cosmetics as well as the pick pack and ship process the high-velocity aspects of our eCommerce business. On the Lotting/Batching we were able to achieve 100% traceability of where each raw material went in terms of finished goods, kits, and ultimately customers. We were able to create alerts and forecasts for materials that would hit best before dates. On the e-commerce side, we ran the entire operation of pick /pack/ship natively on salesforce with bar code scanners. We were not a big company so we did not have enterprise IT teams and consultants, we basically were able to take our warehouse operations to the cloud with a coupe of Salesforce Admins and Ascent's Support.
