No back-and-forth emails, no double booking and only a few seconds to schedule an appointment with you. Its idea is simple: you create your calendar, set your availability and then share it with your clients or co-workers, who can easily schedule an appointment. Thanks to the integration with all major calendars and time-zone synchronization, you can be sure that everything goes smoothly. ## Appoint.ly Reviews ### 1. I dislike not being able to customize each link to a different time zone, not being able to make group bookings and not being able to choose which links are active and wchich aren't. **What problems is Appoint.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I simplify the process of students booking classes and it makes my life easier not having to organise appointments with them back and forth. ### 2. Using Appoint.ly cuts out a few steps in that process, allowing for external audiences to view your schedule and pick a timeslot. Internal colleagues could, of course, use it as well, but we use Outlook for scheduling our internal meetings so there's no need to use this, too. So it's basically a way of letting external people access your Outlook calendar so they can find mutually convenient times to schedule meetings, without a lot of back-and-forth conversation required to do so. **What do you dislike about Appoint.ly?** It took me a bit to figure out how to integrate it with my Outlook calendar. I'm doing it through my work account, but it tried to log me in by default through a hotmail account that I also access occasionally through that computer. I obviously don't do a ton of meeting planning via hotmail. I thus had to connect it to my work Outlook instead. This took a little while to figure out, though it's entirely possible (if not likely) that that was due to user error/ignorance rather than anything having to do with the software or its integration capabilities. **Recommendations to others considering Appoint.ly:** You should definitely give it a shot. It's free to use and requires minimal time commitment to set up, so there's really no downside. If for some reason you don't like it, all you 've lost is a few minutes of your time. If you do like it, then you've got an effective, efficient way to schedule meetings with external parties. And with how many videoconferences we're all doing these days, finding a way to schedule them more efficiently will save you a bunch of time. **What problems is Appoint.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem is the inefficiency of scheduling external calls and videoconferences via email. I was doing it by saying things like "Please let me know a few dates and times in the coming weeks that would be good for you and your team, and I'll try to find one of those that works for me and my colleagues." I'd then get a reply with a few dates and times that the external party suggests, and would hope one of the timeslots was free on everyone's calendars (or was already occupied by something that could be moved). This cuts that part of the process out, and lets external partners view your schedule so they can pick a timeslot when you're available that also is convenient for them. ### 3. Something sensible from an appointment management software. **What do you dislike about Appoint.ly?** Nothing i could think of at this moment. To nitpick, the platform could be more easier to use and better documentation **What problems is Appoint.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Avoids duplicate appointments is the main benefit I've obtained from appoint. ly. ### 4. I can choose which language, and it automatically reverts to the timezone of my clients when they book. **What do you dislike about Appoint.ly?** That I cannot integrate Sumup as a payment application. **What problems is Appoint.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clients from different time zones can book without me worrying about time differences! I only have to update my google calendar with the times I am not available. Even the free version gives my homepage a very professional look. ### 5. Less functions than Calendly but seems much easier to work with as a participant. **What do you dislike about Appoint.ly?** The pricing is not the best. As I was only a free user, I was only able to set one event type which wasn't ideal. **Recommendations to others considering Appoint.ly:** If you need several event types, just pay for it. We use to schedule about 80 appointments per month. Cancellations, rescheduling etc. is all in the hands of the user saving you time and phone calls rescheduling and setting client appointments. Also sends a reminder to the end user the day before their appointment in addition to sending them a confirmation when the appointment is set. **What do you dislike about Appoint.ly?** We initially set it up do use just the person's email address so we had to go back and make them enter their email and company name so that when we are printing/checking the schedule for the week, we know exactly who is coming. **Recommendations to others considering Appoint.ly:** Super easy set. No hard dollar cost. The design is really beautiful and it is really reliable. Managing clients has never been this easy. Appoint.ly is really useful for all kinds of businesses especially for people who want to balance their work life and personal life.
