**What do you like best about Ambassador Software?**

This company is very hands on, and it was necessary because I needed thorough explaining when it came to the set up, although I was surprised to see that the overall integration was very fast and easy! My web team were able to help us reach the deadline thanks to their organization and follow up, and my Boss was extremely happy that we could launch on time. I am very happy to have our company Smart Choice Warranty as a part of the Ambassador family and feel confident that our customers will have ease of service and our brand looking good because of them!

**What do you like best about Ambassador Software?**

The platform has made a fair deal of upgrades over the past couple of years, including a better user interface, more customization for programs, and more ways to offer rewards to our customers.

**What do you dislike about Ambassador Software?**

My only critique is that custom experience does have limitations as it pertains to what we need for our program. There are some competitors out there who can do what we need at a similar or slightly lower price point.

**What problems is Ambassador Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our refer a friend program is hosted by Ambassador and the process for those who use it is very user friendly. Everything is automated, except issuing payment.

**What do you like best about Ambassador Software?**

I was very happy with how quickly they set up with us. It was about a three-day turnaround, which might be the fastest they've ever had. I also like the fact that they create a unique URL for us and handle the payment. I find the initial setup very intuitive; all we had to do was upload a CSV list. We're sending emails through Ambassador as well, which has been super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ambassador Software?**

The onboarding experience was a little bit too much. We didn't need as many meetings as they initially had scheduled. But they were able to be flexible with us and cut down those meetings to only three meetings.

**What problems is Ambassador Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ambassador Software provides us with a unique URL for tracking successful referrals and facilitates paying referral bounties. This setup is crucial for managing our referral program effectively.

**What do you like best about Ambassador Software?**

I use Ambassador Software for my affiliate program, and I find it to be a fantastic tool in that regard. It offers a wide range of cool features, particularly the customizable and organized pages which I really appreciate. Each affiliate can access their custom page, view all their conversions, and utilize materials provided for their platforms. This customization enhances user experience and helps in building strong partnerships. The transparency of the program is a standout feature, offering clear data that is crucial for the success of affiliate programs. The setup was smooth and straightforward, with a highly skilled and supportive team making the process easy and efficient. Their assistance and expertise are invaluable. I also value their impressive content support and help whenever required, provided by their amazing team.

**What do you dislike about Ambassador Software?**

I am frustrated that Ambassador Software only allows payouts through PayPal. This requirement can be inconvenient as it necessitates affiliates having a PayPal account. For those who don't have one, this could require them to go through extra steps to set it up, which might be burdensome. Furthermore, it could potentially be a complete roadblock for affiliates who either cannot create a PayPal account or are unwilling to do so, limiting my ability to work with a diverse range of partners.

I use Ambassador Software to manage my affiliate program efficiently. It provides transparent data tracking and customizable pages, boosting my team's ability to support affiliates with tailored resources, enhancing both convenience and partnership strength.

The UI for the widget builder felt less robust and flexible than I would have liked, which made it harder to customize things the way I wanted. The team did do their best to help, but I generally prefer to be able to self serve.

We needed referral software that was easy to integrate with Hubspot and that would work with our specific business setup. We had used a different referral tool in the past, but we weren’t happy with it, so we started looking for something that fit our needs better.

I love how simple and intuitive Ambassador is to use. Setting up our referral campaigns was quick, and the customization options let us match everything to our brand. The reporting tools make it easy to see what's working, and their support team has been super helpful whenever we had questions.

It can be a bit pricey, especially for smaller teams, and the setup took a bit of time to get just right. But once you're past that, it’s smooth sailing.

There is nothing to dislike about the Ambassador Software.  Every team that I worked with is outstanding in its field.

In August 2025, I will launch a worldwide, interactive online course focused on spirituality. The program "7 Steps to Renew Your Life After a Tragedy" is an emotionally impactful product.  People who refer the course have a genuine concern for helping others improve the quality of their lives.  I set up an Ambassador Referral Program to reward those who refer others.

Honestly, just how easy it was to get set up. I'm not super techy, but still managed to figure most of it out without needing a ton of support. The dashboard's pretty straight forward, tracking works well, and we’ve already seen a solid boost in referrals since we started using it.

Would be nice if it had a couple more integrations built in, but it’s not a huge issue really.

We were looking for a simple way to run a referral program without building it all from scratch or managing a bunch of spreadsheets. Ambassador pretty much handles all the tracking, payouts, and link generation for us, which saves a ton of time. The entire implementation process was very streamlined. Arthur and Blake were a huge help in assisting with the entire integration with weekly follow ups and walk-through meetings.

Would love to be able to modify and restyle the design of the Tango email that comes through. It would be highly beneficial to have company branding versus the tango branding.

There is only one registration page for all your programs. It would be good to able to customise the registration page for different programs.

**What do you like best about Ambassador Software?**

The pricing structure is different from some other popular tools on the market, which usually charge a percentage of payments made to affiliates and sell packages based on the amount of commissions paid per month, while Ambassador has packages defined for the number of Affiliates, which I consider more suitable for those who do not know how much traction the program will gain in the beginning, it is more predictable to control costs. To be completely fair, we are just starting our partnership with Ambassador, so until we reach a certain maturity in the program, what I can evaluate is more the offer vs. the price vs. the features offered and not so much their functionality. But I consider it a good attempt considering other competitors.

**What do you dislike about Ambassador Software?**

I do not have anything to add at this point. We are still building our program and getting started with Ambassador, so to be fair I would rather not mention anything related to the functionality of the platform. Perhaps what I can mention is having more ways to customize the registration portal and the affiliate access portal, however, it is nothing critical and the platform is constantly improving from what I have seen.

Using Ambassador's technology, we are building a more transparent, reliable, and scalable affiliate program to boost our subscriptions in our SaaS business. This partnership marks a major step forward in making our referral channel a key driver of customer acquisition and revenue growth. We used to have a similar program in the past and it did not work well because of poor integration, so with Ambassador and its support team we are building a more robust integration and consequently a more reliable and scalable program.

I loved that it integrates with multiple POS systems which allowed our business - which has both brick & mortar as well as ecommerce to use the platform. This was the only platform I found that worked for both POS systems which was incredibly valuable.

It took FOREVER to set up. I spent at least one month & several days on calls with tech support & the set up team. It was incredibly inefficient & the tech seemed clunky - not user friendly at all. Later in the year, we were asked to do updates in order to continue the functionality of the product. The updates would have taken several hours out of my day & were not simple to complete - it seemed complely counterintuitive to have the customers perform these updates. The customer support on this aspect was very poor & ultimately we left the platform because of it.

It helped us get in front of more customers by utilizing the affliate software. It also helped us bridge the gap between our brick & mortar stores and our ecommerce arm of the business since each part uses a different POS system - we needed something that could work with both Square & Shopify - this was the only platform I found that could do both which was incredibly valuable.

Ambassador's software requires minimal set up if you have an out of the box e-commerce site like Magento or Shopify. Their customer support team when it comes to anything technical or integration wise is really helpful. Their sales team also reviews your activity and performance regularly.

Our CSM Dylan Brown has always been incredibly helpful and friendly.

Ambassador works well for B2C and out-of-the-box e-commerce supported websites like Magento or Shopify. I do not recommend this for a homemade website or checkout process.

Handles promo code creation which is unusual in the space from what I've seen.

Ability to make commission payments right out of the tool instead of having to log into multiple platforms. This saves hours of work in a week.

Analytics capabilities could use some work. I think that's the single most important update needed. Once what can be exported into a spreadsheet is updated, I would love to see the ability to build reports and pivot tables directly in the platform.

There's two things I love best about the Ambassador platform.

First is how easy it is to use. We had a very simple referral program before Ambassador, but once we seamlessly integrated their software onto our site our referral program took off. There are also so many additional tools that we feel we've only just scratched the surface with the platform and our referral program.

The second thing is the support. The have a great team that has gone over and above for us and answered every one of my questions. Despite us throwing many curveballs at them, they've shown to be super flexible.

Can't think of anything! Any idea for additional tools I have they already have in the pipeline – so a great product is only getting better!

Ambassador has helped us turn our referral program into an ROI-positive marketing channel that has grown exponentially since we began with them. I think setting expectations about onboarding upfront is great, but I would like to see Ambassador invest in a better, more intuitive (and branded) onboarding solution.  Google Sheets have their purpose, but for the client experience they fall short and may be confusing.  Opening tabs upon tabs is just not user friendly even with someone walking you through it.  There are a ton of solutions available for onboarding clients that would make the experience go from good to great.

I like that it is flexible and can be designed to fit your organization's specific setup. It provides all of the out of the box functionality you'd want to have for a referral marketing software, and is easy to report on success and ROI.

Setup of the tool was more complex than we were initially expecting (required involvement from our SFDC admin team as opposed to being able to implement whole thing within Marketing/Marketing Ops)

Ambassador has given us the tools we need to greatly scale our referral program in a way we could not previously. Everything was manual, reporting was difficult, and wasn't a good user for our marketing users or our clients referring us business. Ambassador provides a great UX for our internal teams and our clients. This will ultimately lead to more revenue for our company!

The customizable customer portal is great - we have some pretty specific requirements when it comes to branded assets.

The backend portal is occasionally slightly confusing - the way emails are controlled per campaign whilst global emails exist is slightly odd. Once you know how to use the platform it's actually not an issue.

**What problems is Ambassador Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had specific requirements and ideas surrounding a loyalty program. Ambassador's software is exactly what we required for out campaign.
Advocates can share shopify URLs (with discount codes) to their clients and are given cashback on successful referrals.
