What do you like best about Altair HyperView?

The dynamic features available while post processing your simulation results is what makes Hyperview better than the others. Comparing different graph plots and studing animations side by side makes studying simulations very easy. Implementing macros eliminates repetitive tasks that the user has to perform on daily basis. Altair one is home to all the problems one faces while post processing eliminating the need for customer support. Exporting the results is also very easy with the help of the reports generated with hyperview which converts simulation results into pdf or ppt format as per user requirment. What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?

The start up time or the time required to switch from one Hyperworks software to another could be reduced to help save time. A new layout for the tabs and buttons would help improve user interface for better and faster post processing of simulatio data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Altair HyperView?

The overview and interface of hyperview hepls users to easily post process simulations. It allows us to use different solvers of our choice (Optistruct , ls-dyna, Radioss, Nastran, etc) for post processing of simulation data. The graphical and pictorial comparison of the results helps us for further improvement to help in optimization of the model. We can compare simulation results from different models parallely to help map and compare data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?

Using hyperview on a daily basis sometimes becomes tedious due to repetetive tasks we need to perform while analyzing results and studying similar data. Customization of ribbons and tabs would help uses to make the process faster. Help tab for tutorials while modeling would be an added advantages for everyone. The altair one help provides excellent customer support whenever one is in doubt where and how to proceed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time to display results for 3rd party solvers (like odb from Abaqus) is quite long, especially if the files are big. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
