**What do you like best about Altair HyperView?**

It’s easy to use and integrates well with other Altair tools, so most of the same shortcuts and workflows carry over. The support is fast and knowledgeable, which is a real plus. Lately added AI capabilities are helping quite well.

**What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?**

Sometimes, especially with large models, the software creates chunks, hangs, or even disappears completely. It also keeps asking me to save the session when I’m trying to exit, even if I saved it just a second ago. Some fields are too small, and the font size can’t be adjusted. The online help isn’t always up to date, and it’s often not detailed enough.

**What problems is Altair HyperView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Postprocessing of the calculation results.

**What do you like best about Altair HyperView?**

Hyperview provides multiple options for post-processing result files, along with customization through Tcl and Python. It also handles large result animations very well.

**What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?**

Sometimes my session crashes during post-processing, and there’s no option to recover the progress I’ve already made.

**What problems is Altair HyperView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me post-process result files from different solvers. It also makes it easier to identify critical areas in parts during FEA analysis.

**What do you like best about Altair HyperView?**

I liked option collision detection located in tools which is quite useful for roll forming simulation. Another option I liked is section cut through which we can analyze result at every pass for roll forming simulation.

**What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?**

Sometime tool bars disappears and you have to turn on it back that is something I don't like.

**What problems is Altair HyperView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling with roll forming tooling recuts. After using hyperview we are able to see edge strains, cross sections and stresses that helped us to reach 90% of correlation with physical parts.

1. We cannot thocknen the shell models in hyperview as in hyperview.

1. Linear static.
2. Non linear static.

**What do you like best about Altair HyperView?**

The dynamic features available while post processing your simulation results is what makes Hyperview better than the others. Comparing different graph plots and studing animations side by side makes studying simulations very easy. Implementing macros eliminates repetitive tasks that the user has to perform on daily basis. Altair one is home to all the problems one faces while post processing eliminating the need for customer support. Exporting the results is also very easy with the help of the reports generated with hyperview which converts simulation results into pdf or ppt format as per user requirment.

**What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?**

The start up time or the time required to switch from one Hyperworks software to another could be reduced to help save time. A new layout for the tabs and buttons would help improve user interface for better and faster post processing of simulatio data.

**What problems is Altair HyperView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Study post processing data for crash analysis of automobiles.

**What do you like best about Altair HyperView?**

The overview and interface of hyperview hepls users to easily post process simulations. It allows us to  use different solvers of our choice (Optistruct , ls-dyna, Radioss, Nastran, etc) for post processing of simulation data. The graphical and pictorial comparison of the results helps us for further improvement to help in optimization of the model. We can compare simulation results from different models parallely to help map and compare data.

**What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?**

Using hyperview on a daily basis sometimes becomes tedious due to repetetive tasks we need to perform while analyzing results and studying similar data. Customization of ribbons and tabs would help uses to make the process faster. Help tab for tutorials while modeling would be an added advantages for everyone. The altair one help provides excellent customer support whenever one is in doubt where and how to proceed.

**What problems is Altair HyperView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Post process simulation data for CAE/FEA.

**What do you like best about Altair HyperView?**

Simplicity and visual clearance in usage, multidisciplinary support of results from 3rd party solvers.

**What do you dislike about Altair HyperView?**

The time to display results for 3rd party solvers (like odb from Abaqus) is quite long, especially if the files are big.

**What problems is Altair HyperView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you own Hyperworks tokens, it is natural you are going to use HyperView as a postprocessor. It can easily substitute other postprocessors if you have many solvers in your company (like Ansys, CAE Viewer, Patran).
