Flexible, Easy to Use, Cloud LIMS System **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** James C. | Senior Data Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023 **What do you like best about Alchemy Cloud?** Unlike most LIMS system, Alchemy is exceptionally easy to use and intuative. The user interface is modern and most users pick up how to do things with little to no training. Additionally, I have found that the administation and managment of records and processes to be easy to implement. Every LIMS system is customized to fit each organization, and Alchemy has a very clever framework to make this customization easy and fast. This is well supported by their excellent customer support team who have been very helpful in implmentation, integration, and training. **What do you dislike about Alchemy Cloud?** The biggest downside to using Alchemy cloud is that many of the 'out-of-the-box' features that other LIMS provders have don't exist in Alchemy. This is mitigated by the fact that it is so easy to configure theses features to meet your exact needs; however, each of features does take some development effort to build. **What problems is Alchemy Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Alchemy is alklowing our R&D department to build a network of customized records that are all tracked in an organized database. These interconnected records correspond to materials, formulations, batches, samples, tests, etc. related to R&D activities. Out of all of the LIMS systems that we comapred we found that Alchemy had the flexibility and usbility to build exactly what we wanted. This has (and will) allow us to digitalize all of our of our lab activites and eliminate all lab notebooks and replace them with filling in structure data into this organized network of records. ### 2. Their customer support is friendly and supportive, they helped us and my colleagues with some queries at first, and since then we have been easily using every day without stress or doubts. **What do you dislike about Alchemy Cloud?** Not all the features are available like other platforms, so that may require some more effort from us, hope they add them soon, but nothing else :) **What problems is Alchemy Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently building a network using Alchemy Cloud that has records based on a database.
