"Flexible Platform That is Always Changing"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

Flexibility of the platform. Im able to customize it around our business processes instead of having to change our processes to fit the system. I also like that we can automate a lot of our day-to-day work using Flow and bring different systems and data together in one place. As our needs change, we can continue to build on what we already have rather than starting over with a new solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The number of changes and new features can sometimes be overwhelming. Salesforce is constantly evolving, which is great, but it also means there is always something new to learn, test, or adjust. As someone responsible for managing the platform, it can be challenging to keep up with all of the releases and understand which changes will actually impact our organization. "Salesforce Platform’s Flexibility Makes It Easy to Build and Scale Solutions"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

I like Salesforce Platform’s flexibility and extensibility. It brings data, automation, integrations, and application development into one ecosystem, making it relatively easy to build solutions around real business processes and scale them as requirements evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The platform can feel overly complex, especially as implementations grow and accumulate customizations. Configuration, permissions, and integrations can become difficult to manage, and the learning curve is fairly steep. I also find that licensing costs and platform limitations can make seemingly simple changes more expensive or cumbersome than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Customization and Automation Enhance Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

I really like the flexibility and customization options in Salesforce Platform, which allow us to adapt it to our different business needs. The automation tools are a standout for me because they help reduce manual work and enhance efficiency, enabling our team to streamline business processes with minimal effort. We frequently use workflow automation, custom applications, dashboards, and reporting tools, which improve our efficiency and provide real-time visibility into key metrics. This helps our team work more efficiently and make better decisions. I appreciate how Salesforce Platform integrates well with other enterprise tools and applications, streamlining data sharing and business processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The platform can have a deep learning curve for new users. And some customization requires significant set of an administration effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Scalable Platform for Building and Customizing Business Apps"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

What I like best about Salesforce Platform is its flexibility and extensibility. It provides a strong foundation for building and customizing business applications while integrating data, processes, and different Salesforce products within a common ecosystem.

The combination of low-code capabilities, automation, APIs, and a broad ecosystem makes it possible to address complex business requirements without always starting from scratch. I also value its scalability, which allows solutions to evolve as business needs and processes change over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The main drawback is the complexity that comes with the platform’s flexibility. While Salesforce Platform can support a wide range of use cases, designing and maintaining highly customized solutions can require significant technical expertise and governance.

As implementations grow, managing customizations, integrations, and platform limits can also become challenging. A simpler development and administration experience, particularly for complex enterprise environments, would help reduce maintenance effort and improve overall efficiency. "A cloud connected CRM that gives 360 degree views of customets"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

The salesforce platform helps our organization keep our constituents in order so that we can fundraise more money, and more money means more programs and the community is getting more help.

All our data is kept in one source of truth instead of having siloed systems.

Salesforce helps us keep all our data clean so we are able to slice and dice it as needed in an easy way, which is all done with clicks, not code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The only issue with the platform was the integration being a huge barrier to entry. As a large organization we needed to hire a Salesforce partner in order to help us onboard and build out our integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable, Secure, and Scalable Platform with a Strong AppExchange Ecosystem"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

The extensive customization and extensibility through Lightning, Apex, and flows—allowing solutions to fit unique business needs. Strong security and compliance features (user management, MFA, audit trails) give confidence in data governance. The AppExchange ecosystem provides ready-made solutions, and the scalability handles growth without infrastructure headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The steep learning curve for advanced development—Apex, Lightning components, and APIs require significant expertise. Governor limits in Apex can be restrictive for complex implementations. Security compliance management (MFA, phishing-resistant authentication) is becoming increasingly demanding. Platform updates and API changes sometimes cause breaking changes requiring rework. Cost scales quickly with additional features and higher user volumes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

Rewarding overall, but it can take a long time to fully understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, All-in-One Platform for Building Powerful Enterprise Apps"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

What I like best about Salesforce Platform is its flexibility and the breadth of capabilities available for building and customizing enterprise applications. It brings CRM data, automation, security, integrations, reporting, and AI capabilities together on a single platform.

From a development perspective, I particularly like the ability to combine declarative tools such as Flow and Lightning App Builder with Apex, LWC, and APIs when more complex requirements arise. This makes it possible to build solutions quickly while still having the flexibility to handle complex business processes and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

There can be a steep learning curve for both developers and administrators, and certain platform and governor limits require careful architecture and ongoing optimization. In addition, upgrades and frequent changes across the platform may demand continuous testing and maintenance to ensure that existing customizations keep working as expected. What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

What I dislike about the Salesforce Platform is that it can sometimes be complex to configure and manage, especially for users who are new to the platform.
