I like that it supports more than 20 sanitization standards (including the newest IEEE 2883) and its ease of use. Active@ KillDisk's customization is also worth mentioning, particularly in terms of the sanitization certificates and labels, as well as the ability to run scripts on the accompanying boot disk. This feature enables users to automatically start a drive wipe by simply inserting a USB drive into a PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not a fan of the licensing system, as I feel it could have been explained more clearly. When you purchase KillDisk software, you receive a license that allows you to erase two drives at the same time. If you need to handle more drives simultaneously, you have to buy an additional license for each extra slot. While I think this approach is acceptable, I do wish the website had provided a clearer explanation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
