Reliable, scalable, and flexible are the qualities that stand out most to me when describing BLANCCO. In my experience, the remote data erasure feature is particularly valuable, especially when used alongside workflows that enable automation and monitoring throughout the process. Sometimes it gets a little tricky to fix and troubleshoot issues on endpoints intended to be erased by Blancco Erase Media On-Premise, it takes a lot of time to find the issues, in most of the cases you need to get in contact with the support team. I’ve been searching for a reliable and secure way to erase data from the hard drives and SSDs of our company, and I’m so glad I found this software! This software did not disappoint. What I loved the most is how seamlessly it works with both traditional hard drives and newer SSDs. Blancco drive eraser has been in use with us for a long time and we like it. Compared to other programs we have tried, we think Blancco is the best. Some good points: • Possibility of HASP key licensing (offline environments) • Blancco image can be customized according to the company's requirements • Additional information in reports can also be customized in advance • Possibility to choose the level of verification (%) • Most NVMe drives support Blancco SSD erasure method firmware overwrite (note: Western Digital drives do not support) • Possibility of HASP key licensing (offline environments) • Customer service also in Finnish Compared to other erasure products, we have not found many bad points. They regularly release updates they clearly have not properly tested, and they push out changes before properly documenting them. The software will work, then get an update and not work for another two weeks. They also have misleading pricing, so their software will be significantly more expensive than they quote you.
