## Action1 Reviews
 ### 1. Cloud-Native Automation: Set it, Forget it, Stay Secure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It has transformed our deployment process. Instead of downloading and "packaging" apps myself, I simply select the app from Action1’s verified library. This automated packaging saves me at least 4–5 hours of manual research and testing every week. I didn't expect to use Action1 for asset management, but the Real-Time Inventory is so granular that I can instantly see which laptops have failing batteries or which workstations are running out of disk space. It turned a patching tool into a proactive hardware monitoring system.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It does not have an integrated ticketing system, billing module, or professional services automation. The interface primarily uses a "flat" grouping structure. It lacks the ability to create nested subgroups (e.g., Department > Floor > Team). 3rd party RDP integration would be great, prefer RustDesk.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

e relied on traditional tools (like WSUS) or manual checks. This meant patching only worked if users were on the VPN, third-party apps (Chrome, Zoom, Adobe) were ignored, and "successful" updates were a guessing game.

 ### 2. Efficient Patch Management Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher P. | Senior Systems Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I appreciate how Action1 handles vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and patch management more effectively than most remote monitoring and management tools' built-in patching. I like the compatibility with both PC and Mac, which ensures that I can manage a diverse range of systems seamlessly. The expansive and continually growing list of supported software is another aspect I enjoy because it simplifies my workflow by automatically detecting and managing the software without the need for manual input. I have shifted from other patch management tools, including those integrated with RMM systems, as this just works better overall. Setup is easy. It only took about five minutes, from account creation to deploying agents and starting patching operations. Finally, I will recommend Action1 to others, rating it as a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I don't like that an email account changes require a new account to be made and cannot be updated from the same account.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 enhances our patch management by seamlessly handling vulnerability scanning and mitigation, supports a vast range of software, and works well on both PC and Mac. It eliminates manual software entry and significantly outperforms other patching tools we have used.

 ### 3. Effortless Remote Management with Minor Connectivity Hitches

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like the remote access and the ability to run scripts without disrupting users' sessions. This is super useful because I work at a service company where users are often busy with their tasks or the technicians, so doing things behind the scenes is very helpful. I also find that the initial setup of Action1 was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I wish there was a way to connect to the user's computer through a backdoor application and drag and drop files. Also, the connectivity through the web browser remote sessions could be improved.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Action1 useful for automatic patching and remote access, running scripts without disrupting users' sessions. This helps me at a service company as users are usually working, so doing things behind the scenes is very helpful.

 ### 4. Action1 Makes Endpoint Management Quick, Intuitive, and Easy to Start

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Action1 helps people who need endpoint management get started quickly and easily. The user interface is intuitive, and the first 200 endpoints are always free.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

So far I haven't run across anything that I dislike about Action1.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 is providing us with scripting that we can run on our machines. We cannot use group policy because the machines are not joined to any domain. Action1 also acts as a backup to our remote connection software, which has come in handy on multiple occasions.

 ### 5. Patch management at its best, with ultra-complete documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yann B. | Administrateur système, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

the management of patches, accompanied by its super comprehensive documentation, and its free availability

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

it's a shame that there is no native report on the monthly backups for each endpoint

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it replaced my WSUS, and thanks to its native P2P, it solves the problem of bandwidth overload on our firewall.

 ### 6. Easy and Intuitive for Remote Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sistemas J. | Administrador de TI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 is light and quiet. I especially enjoy the scripts that I can execute easily, which improves my remote team management. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Action1 easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The RDP remote control must have a silent theme and more compatibility to view the GUI of remote desktops.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for remote administration, deployment, and task automation on Windows devices. It helps me manage devices, install software, run scripts, and automate support tasks.

 ### 7. Great Value: Free Up to 200

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric P. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

For a product that advertises itself as free (for up to 200) devices, it's a great tool for smaller organizations looking at getting a single pane view of the fleet of devices. With the recent inclusion of MacOS and Linux, it truly is a great tool to roll out patches, run automation across devices, and get quick information about your devices, have reports generated automatically (low disk space, etc.). There's an API that allows you to connect 3rd party items with Action1 (ie: Snipe-IT) to have a really robust 'source of truth'. Set up was painless, account create, and first end point added in less than 5 minutes. It's my go-to tool, having a permanent location on my bookmark bar as I access it multiple time a day.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There's not much to dislike about Action1, for what I use it for, it fits the bill.

The dashboard could use a little love (customization) to perhaps take data from the Data Sources/Reports to provide a quick view of key metrics that you care about (ie: disk space) without having to run the Reports. The Remote screen share is great (web based, vs UDP or TCP, so no firewall manipulations required), however I find the performance sluggish. But in a pinch, it works great.

Some missing features are actively being considered, and are visible in their roadmap (ie: Self-Service Software Portal/Catalogue).

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single pane view of all devices in my fleet. The remote desktop capability work well enough, and I can easily deploy my tools onto the endpoints (and do some rudimentary remote support). By far the best feature is the patching/deployment of updates.

 ### 8. Optimized Platform with Fast, Responsive Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge T. | computer engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

the optimization of the platform and the response

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Nothing really, I feel like everything is perfect as it is.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me solve the problem with the device viewer and helps me maintain a constant inventory of both devices and apps

 ### 9. Effortless Security with Action1's Fast Scanning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas d. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I find Action1's easy scanning to be incredible, it's the most astonishing scanning response I've ever seen in any market tool. I love how fast it updates an endpoint, with the status dashboard updated in less than 3 minutes. The minimal overhead or resource footprint on the endpoint machines is a very distinguishing aspect. The clear reports and easy-to-use interface made the choice a no-brainer for me. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, with a zero-effort process, and a very friendly and helpful UI.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I noticed it lacks a little more support for log dispatching or custom notifications. Also, notification and log sending support would be great. There are environments where air-gapped solutions are mandatory, so a server approach for centralized deployment would be great, although that's not our case.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 provides a clear path to compliance and enhanced security. It offers easy scanning with minimal resource footprint and clear reports, which simplifies vulnerability management and improves our security posture.

 ### 10. Saves Time with Seamless Device Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sierra B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 to monitor our devices and push out updates, which saves me a ton of time because I don’t have to physically go to each computer. It makes multitasking easy during big projects. I can access all necessary device information like the asset tag, device name, and Windows version effortlessly. While filling out forms, I can also deploy updates and address vulnerabilities simultaneously. The initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It has some compatibility issues with different software. There was awhile there where we would have to uninstall Action1 first before we could do what we needed to, then install Action1 again. But recently I noticed that specific issue had been resolved.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to monitor devices, push updates, and address security issues without going to each computer, saving me time. It lists device info for multitasking during projects, allowing me to deploy updates and manage vulnerabilities efficiently.

 ### 11. Seamless Transition to Action1, Boosts Control & Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel E.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love how Action1 has made a huge difference in providing internal visibility and control, allowing me to know exactly what's going on immediately. Pulling updates and rebooting are so much better and have saved me a lot of time. It's quick, simple, and easy to use, and I was able to pick it up fairly quickly after moving from Datto. The layout is one of the easiest to run. Everything has been beneficial and positive compared to my previous system. The initial setup was super easy, or as I would say, night and day easy.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I have a lot of updates that don't get pushed through because end users didn't do updates, and I'm learning the hard way that my old system either had a delay or tooling issues, resulting in incorrect and outdated information on my computers.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I replaced Datto RMM with Action1, which hugely improved internal control and visibility. Action1 saves me time by making updates and reboots ten times better, provides full visibility and control over computers, and ensures software installs properly.

 ### 12. Cost-Effective Solution with Great Patching Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johan J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like Action1 for its pricing, which stands out as a positive aspect for me. Additionally, I find the ability to run scripts beneficial. We can do our own scripts and run them against different endpoints like Windows or Mac, which adds valuable flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I find that it still lacks some features for macOS.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Action1 to update third-party software and complement Microsoft Intune by providing remote control capabilities.

 ### 13. Effortless Agent & Patch Deployment with Scalable SMB Pricing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon Y. | ITO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Ease of use and deployment of agents and patches. Pricing is attractive for SMBs and it looks to scale well as you grow.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Customization for reporting can be expanded to strengthen visibility.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved plugging the RRM hole with a small IT team & resources

 ### 14. Perfect for Patch Management and Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee P. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love the fact that you can write custom scripts that can then run against the agent. It also has a lot of apps built in that you can deploy and update. There is quite a wide variety of predefined scripts, and I like the fact that it has vulnerability checks that give you the CVEs for those vulnerabilities.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

No Dislikes, amazing product and Free for under 200 Agents forever!

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for reliable patch management reporting and remote access to resolve issues. It helps check vulnerabilities in OS's and applications. I love the custom script capability and built-in apps for easy deployment and updates, along with CVE information for vulnerabilities.

 ### 15. Intuitive Interface That Makes Endpoint Management Fast and Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I find the interface very intuitive, and it’s easy to get up and running with minimal effort. Adding endpoints and groupings is easy, fast and effective.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It’s a patch manager, so I understand that remote assist isn’t the main focus. Still, I’d love to see some performance improvements if possible. At times it can feel a bit laggy compared to other RMM solutions, but again, I realize that isn’t what it’s primarily designed for.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping endpoints current with updates is huge. Being able to schedule and run the updates we want, while also locking end users out so they don’t run updates we haven’t tested, is crucial.

 ### 16. Clear Patch Overview and Time-Saving Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave B. | Lord of the Files (IT Manager), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It gives a clear overview of what needs patching, and automates the whole process. This saves me a huge amount of time every week.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Although overall an excellent piece of software, It would benefit from a few useful additions, such as WOL. This would make 'out of work hours patching' much more effective.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our inventory has a large number of laptops, and Action1 has improved monitoring of these devices for both patching status and general health.

 ### 17. Action 1 Makes Tenant-Wide Patching and Updates a Breeze -- It just works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It just plain works! It really does. Action 1 makes patching and updating my whole tenant an absolute breeze. Automations start on time, manual patches start instantly, it just works.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I wish when setting up automations and selecting update filters, such as severity and vendor, I was able to "Preview" what updates those filters would catch.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vulnerabilities! Patching these machines manually would take an unfathomable amount of time.

 ### 18. Easy to Operate, Reliable, and Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin P. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Very easy to operate and maintain. It just works which makes our job easier and able to focus our time where best.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Not a great deal. I know its difficult but would love the forced reboot to be a bit more robust and non optionable.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have faith in our patching software, we set the parameters and it works.

 ### 19. Effortless Deployment and Reporting with Action1

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter H. | System Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Honestly, a great tool. Super easy to navigate, and decent reporting.
Super easy to deploy software and upload your own. They have a large repository to select from, and do updates!
Similarly easy to deploy out scripts and update script libraries.
With the new Linux integrations, I only see good things in the future for this tool.

I use it extensively in my home lab and home machines, as well as at my day jobs on enterprise devices.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Not much, and definitely no deal-breakers. Reaching a bit on these, but just the headaches/thoughts I/we've had:
There are a few downsides to the vulnerability tracking, but this is comparing it to something like Tenable. However, Action1 is not a vulnerability mitigation/response tool. For the software and OS vulnerabilities it tracks, it does a fantastic job.
I think if the Windows server OS patching were more separated from the Windows endpoint OS patches, it would have better cohesiveness. -- ie, having Windows Server 2022 updates different than Windows 22h2 update just for clarity.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a gap in our patch management, and coming from an outdated, on-prem solution, Action1 is a breath of fresh air. Being able to track and patch each tenant separately, while sharing overall policies and having the option to drill down to tenant/group only configurations and reporting, is a great function.

 ### 20. Effortlessly Manages Our IT Needs, Perfect Score!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

The ability to automate script deployments, either scheduled or on-demand, adds immense flexibility and power to my workflow. I get comprehensive reports, which makes the monitoring process straightforward and efficient. The fact that Action1 integrates most of the tools I need to manage my fleet into a single solution is incredibly convenient, eliminating the need for multiple platforms and simplifying my management tasks. Additionally, the initial setup of Action1 was super easy, which saved me a lot of time and trouble, allowing me to focus more on my core tasks. I have faced no issues with Action1; it perfectly fulfills my requirements. Such reliability and ease of use make it a product I would confidently recommend to others.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Nothing

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Action1 consolidates tools for managing my fleet, offering software deployment, patching, and script deployment. It automates tasks, provides reports, and works flawlessly, fulfilling all my requirements.

 ### 21. Effortless Patch Management, Unmatched Versatility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I find Action1 incredibly useful for its ease of management across multiple devices from multiple operating systems. The ability to schedule updates or deploy them immediately as needed is a big plus. As part of a small IT team, the challenge of managing multiple operating systems simultaneously can lead to systems becoming outdated, but Action1 stops this by providing management through one clean and easy-to-use interface. I also appreciate that it was easy to set up, taking less than 20 minutes from initial account creation to managing the first device. Additionally, the 200 endpoints free for life offer was a huge attraction, along with the ease of setup and configuration. Overall, Action1 does everything I need it to do!

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Nothing!

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 removes the need to check machines individually for updates, informs of CVE issues, and offers easy resolution paths. It helps manage multiple OS updates easily for a small IT team, preventing systems from becoming outdated.

 ### 22. Very complete, feature rich. Efficient.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melvyn R. | System Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like how easy and streamlined Action1 is to use. The GUI is easy to understand, and the structure of the sections is well thought out, allowing anyone to navigate the admin center without much prior knowledge. The initial setup was also very easy to follow. I use it for OS and vulnerability patching, which keeps our servers up to date, as well as for third-party apps/software updates.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Nothing to dislike about it, just yet.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for OS and vulnerability patching, keeping our servers up to date. The GUI is easy to understand, and the well-organized sections make it simple for anyone to navigate. I also use it for updating third-party apps.

 ### 24. Excellent Free License for Centralized Control of Client Machines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno A. | Information Technology Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

The free licence is one of the best parts for managing my small business. After it’s installed on each piece of equipment, I have control and information about all the machines my clients use.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Sometimes it won’t connect to a specific machine for no clear reason, and after I restart it using another remote app, it still doesn’t work again.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monthly reports, management of the equipment inventory for two different companies, and the option to use servers without needing monitors.

 ### 25. Effortless Patch Management with Robust Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek T. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like using Action1's software repository to deploy packages, and I enjoy the ability to monitor my endpoint's vulnerabilities, which helps me feel secure in my network. I'm able to automate updates for certain systems by deploying them via the repository. The initial setup of Action1 was super easy!

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I wish that there was the ability to do a real file transfer without the software repository. I also wish that Windows FEATURE updates such as 24h2 to 25h2 were listed as needed rather than having to discover that on my own.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 helps me maintain updates on my workstations, assess vulnerabilities, and deploy packages. I can automate updates, monitor vulnerabilities, and feel secure in my network.

 ### 26. Effortless Setup, Perfect for Device Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S. | IS Support II

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love that Action1 simplifies tracking down devices to make sure they reboot and stay updated. I really like how it instantly updates endpoint IPs if they change and how I can search with a MAC address. It's super helpful for me to search for devices in Action1, grab the MAC, and paste it into Aruba ClearPass for troubleshooting. Plus, the initial setup of Action1 was really easy—anyone could do it. Overall, it's a perfect platform in my eyes.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Nothing I can think of.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setup is simple: deploy the agent and you get risk-based OS and third-party patching, inventory, compliance reporting, and browser-based remote desktop (attended/unattended). The standout is its free forever tier for up to 200 endpoints with full features—great for small orgs or pilots. Recent Intune integration fills Microsoft’s third-party patching gaps, and the vendor backs things with SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.Bottom line: if patching and visibility are your top priorities—especially in Microsoft-centric environments—Action1 is an easy recommend, and the free tier makes it a low-risk trial. I use this tool daily and the customer support is phenomenal.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Pricing above 200 endpoints isn’t public, and while remote access is convenient, heavy helpdesk users may still want a specialist tool.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 closed our third-party patching gap, automated our rings, and gave us audit-ready visibility—fewer tools, faster remediation, and far fewer ‘out-of-date’ tickets

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Robert,

We're delighted to hear that you have found success with Action1 and that our customer support has been phenomenal to you. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing to support your organization!

 ### 29. Simple, Fast Vulnerability Detection and Quick Fixes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilio N. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It’s simple and easy to find vulnerabilities and missing updates, and it’s quick to correct them.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The dashboard shows missing updates for computers that have been offline for more than a month. It would be helpful to have an option to exclude those devices so they aren’t counted as missing updates or vulnerabilities.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Computer updates and vulnerability scans have helped us a lot. They speed up our update deployments and make it easier to address vulnerabilities more quickly.

 ### 30. All-in-One Endpoint Management for Vulnerability Tracking and Software Deployment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M. Nassir A. | Teacher and IT Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It helps me manage endpoints, track vulnerabilities, and deploy new software—all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It could really use a wider software library, with better support for more third-party apps.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an MSP, and I use Action 1 as the RMM tool for my clients.

 ### 31. Simplicity at its best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher M. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

he platform offers 200 free endpoints with full features, allowing us to thoroughly test and utilize all capabilities without worrying about monthly fees. This makes rapid adoption and expansion easier due to its simplicity and ease of use.

Because there is no initial cost, I can confidently propose this endpoint management tool to management and fully validate its functionality without needing to justify a budget upfront. Once we reach the 200-endpoint limit, securing approval for expansion will be much easier since the value has already been proven.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There is no graphical interface for tools such as Task Manager, and automatic reporting for CPU and resource utilization is not yet available.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 addresses most of our current challenges, particularly with Remote Desktop access. Our reliance on free tools from the internet has proven difficult, as many have limitations and pose security risks. Additionally, the process of requesting and granting access is often complicated, creating unnecessary friction for both users and the IT team.
With Action1, remote access becomes secure, streamlined, and easier to manage, significantly improving efficiency and user experience.

Inventory management is clearer and more comprehensive, providing complete and detailed information for every device. This eliminates the need for IT to physically inspect devices or initiate remote sessions just to retrieve essential details.

Patching is simpler and faster, reducing manual effort and saving approximately 70% of the time previously spent managing each device. This allows the IT team to focus on higher-value tasks while improving overall efficiency and consistency.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Christopher,

Thank you for your review! Your comments about the lack of graphical interface for tools and automatic reporting are duly noted, and we will consider these for future updates. It's great to hear that Action1 is helping to improve efficiency and consistency for your IT team, and we're committed to continuously enhancing our platform to meet your needs.

 ### 32. Effortless Laptop Management with Action1

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucio Henrique F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I appreciate that Action1 is fast and offers a centralized view that really simplifies managing laptops. The remote access feature and third-party patch management are standout highlights for me, as they perfectly meet the needs of the environment, no matter its size. It's a simple tool to use, yet it's full of features for managing environments. I found the initial setup to be very easy, which was a pleasant surprise.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The remote access can be faster because there's a delay. There is a delay of approximately 10 seconds between the computer providing the information and the computer accessing it, and this hinders remote management.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 provides a fast, centralized view, remote access, and third-party patch management for laptops.

 ### 33. One Dashboard for OS Updates and Third-Party Patching

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

: It bridges the gap between traditional OS updates (Windows and macOS) and third-party software patching within a single dashboard

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There is limited room for advanced customisation or tailored workflows. Organisations with multiple business divisions (or MSPs with multiple tenants) cannot view a unified "all orgs" master risk dashboard, forcing them to manually toggle between organisational layers.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now I can control PC updates

 ### 34. Effortless Remote Management, Needs Mobile App Boost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roland F.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love Action1 for deploying software and updates. I find the RDP, updating, and custom log options highly usable in countless ways. The RDP feature is really great for a website, and I'm impressed with its support for Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. It makes maintaining my family's endpoints so easy, especially for someone like me. Also, switching to Action1 provided a collective frame for operations, which I really enjoy.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I think the mobile app could be a great improvement or easier file transfer to endpoints. With a mobile, it could be easier to maintain urgent situations on production and family situations too. The setup was easy; on a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it 0.5.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for deploying software and updates. It helps maintain my family's endpoints easily with features like RDP and supports multiple operating systems.

 ### 35. Effortless Patching and Robust Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I primarily use Action1 for its patching, automation, and remote desktop tools. I find patching so much easier with Action1, being able to see all outdated software and push their newest updates immediately. I like that it's simple to use and works without issues or troubleshooting needed. The customer support is very good, very responsive and helpful. The initial setup was super easy, just an MSI that was pushed out via Intune. Action1 has much better patching features compared to what we used before.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Some customizations for groups can be a little tedious or limited.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 made patching so much easier by allowing me to see all out-of-date software and push their newest updates immediately.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> It's great to hear that you've found value and success with Action1! We appreciate your feedback regarding the limited repository size for apps with updates and are committed to enhancing our platform.

 ### 36. Easy Audits and Smooth Update Deployments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey U. | Network & Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Ease of audit and deployment of needed updates. The ability of macOS and Linux is still being build but its exciting to see how this will soon be as good as Windows.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I guess I am wanting my cake and to eat it too. I wish macOS and Linux would catch up in features. This will truly be the ultimate patch product when everything is working.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to update an entire lab with the click of a button.

 ### 37. Action1 from a Sys Admin PoV

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It is free for the first 200 hosts and it works great.
The vulnerability assessment is great - and mitigation of vulnerabilities also great.
The built-in and custom reports are also a great way of monitoring software.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

None that I have found yet. Maybe the web browser remote desktop could use improvements.
At certain hours it works great - and other times very slow.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for remote desktop support and for checking vulnerabilities to help improve security.

 ### 38. Easy to use RMM tools, suitable for beggineer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HAZMI A. | Senior IT Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Easy to navigate the menu. Very intuitive for a user who has no experience managing RMM tools. Very easy to deploy custom software to push to the end user. Having a remote desktop built in is also a nice thing.

Used it every day to deploya shared folder to a user.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Deploying a bulk update may take some time to deploy. Remote desktop to end user performance is laggy, but not that bad.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Software deployment and update.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Hazmi,

It's great to hear that Action1 is helping you with software development and updates! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing our partnership with you.

 ### 39. Web-Based, Easy to Use, and Strong Out-of-the-Box Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary S. | Information Technology Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

apart from obvious its web based even straight out of the box its so easy to use and reporting covers most things you need from the box.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I think the deployment of your own software could be a lot better, found it very convuluted to set up your own deployment packages

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its an all in 1 solution that we use in correlation with others solutions we use like PDQ

 ### 40. Clear Visibility into Vulnerabilities and Missing Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

This gives me a way to see vulnerabilities and what my customers are missing in their updates.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

sometimes the tool does not give you a way to fix the vulnerabilities. the only way to fix it is by doing it manually or trying to updates one of the apps.. but if there is not updates... then you need to get to the computer and do a manual update

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we were going slow trying to update and see where a pc could be improved to make it more secure. with this tools is faster and we can do lots of pc at the same time.

 ### 41. Effortless Monitoring, Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mason B. | Owner & Operator

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 is available and proves to be consistent, especially in real-time actions. It allows me to monitor machines that are in production, like a server, in real time, which is invaluable. It shows me when they're offline and allows me to finalize patching, ensuring it happens every week. The initial setup is absolutely easy, and installing agents on all the machines is not only straightforward but also continuously effective and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Occasional agent check in issues that creates manual responses to network monitoring

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to monitor client machines, seeing when they're offline and tracking their patching status. It's valuable for managing production servers in real-time and ensuring weekly patching is finalized.

 ### 42. Makes Multi-Server Updates Fast and Manageable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It makes managing updates across multiple servers much easier and more manageable, and it takes a lot less time out of my day.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I’d love to see more interactivity with Linux, as that would make the overall experience feel more complete.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automates upgrades and lets me research known issues with the current OS version.

 ### 43. Excellent for Remediation, But Needs Linux Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jareena S. | SRE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Action 1 best for vulnerability remediation

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Action 1 is not supporting linux devices

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

patch management , updates windows up to date & protected

 ### 44. Simplified Patch Management Across Platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 is easy to use and acts as a whole enterprise solution for all of my endpoints across my service level agreement (SLA) customers. The ease of use is a significant factor for me.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I think the ability to automate the approval of patches could be improved. Right now, when patches are released, I need to approve them manually. I would like to have the option to automatically approve them or schedule an automatic approval, much like how patches are rolled out.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 lets me manage patches and security updates for Microsoft Windows and third-party apps, which I couldn't do before. It’s easy to use over all my endpoints for SLA customers.

 ### 45. Effective Patching but Slow Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Léo D. | Infogérant - conseil et maintenance informatique, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love the simplicity and comprehensiveness of Action1's functions, which saves me time. Everything is automatable, meaning updates are done automatically without the need for manual intervention. This allows me to efficiently manage the updates of my clients' PCs while generating accurate deployment reports. Moreover, the initial setup of Action1 was easy.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

remote access is slow, sessions are slow, they lag

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to manage the updates of my clients' PCs. This allows me to finely manage updates and obtain precise deployment reports. Automation helps me save time.

 ### 46. Action1 Makes Inventory and Software Deployment Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wanderlei H. | Analista de Suporte, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I really appreciate that I can maintain an inventory of various company machines, and also keep them updated using the software deployment function.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

One thing I miss in Action1 is that it's not possible to add/change columns on the endpoint management screen. Users should be able to choose their own columns as they see fit.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 is perfect for keeping your machine inventory up-to-date, as well as your operating system and software installations.

 ### 47. Easy handling, clear reports, and CVSS score for a quick patch overview

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilian G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Easy handling: You don't have to spend a long time getting familiar with it and can quickly deploy patches. The reports are clear, and with the help of the CVSS score, you can also keep an eye on software that is not immediately in focus. For me, that was, for example, 7-Zip.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There is a lack of the ability to create repositories that download patches for the devices from the internet and then provide them.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Action1, patches can be rolled out on devices much faster; with the previous solution, this was not possible in this form.

 ### 48. Intuitive and Cost-Effective Security Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like how Action1 is intuitive and easy to use for neophytes. The fact that it's free under 200 endpoints adds superb value, with all these features helping me strengthen my security posture. The initial setup was super easy, and I really appreciate how it solves the lack of visibility in our blind corners.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Remote control is hit or miss. A native client would work better than in a web browser.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for automation, endpoint patching, and gaining visibility on vulnerabilities, solving our lack of visibility in blind spots. It's intuitive, easy for beginners, and offers superb value by being free for up to 200 endpoints, strengthening our security posture.

 ### 49. Effortless Endpoint Management, Great Value for MSPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel E.

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 to manage endpoints for my clients as it makes it easy to see all of our clients' endpoints in one platform. I can easily identify how many vulnerabilities there are and deploy scripts with ease on a regular schedule. My favorite thing about Action1 is the ability to easily install agents on our clients' computers by just signing in and ensuring I'm under the correct client organization. It handles all the complicated stuff behind the scenes and ensures the new endpoint is in our system. This feature is valuable because when visiting a client site for the first time, we can install the agents and do additional work remotely. The initial setup of Action1 was very straightforward, without needing to jump through hoops.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Cannot think of anything I dislike about Action1

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to manage endpoints easily for my MSP clients. It shows all client endpoints on one platform, simplifies vulnerability checks, and allows effortless script deployments.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Emmanuel,

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Action1. It's great to know that the platform's features have been beneficial for your MSP business. Thank you for choosing Action1!

 ### 50. Effortless Patching with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like how Action1 solves our security vulnerabilities, improves system performance, and makes our jobs easier. I appreciate how intuitive and user-friendly it is to get started with Action1, with no steep learning curve—it's just click, patch, done. I find the clean UI, clear tabs, and straightforward connectivity make a big difference. Watching the status of the servers updating in the UI was huge. The initial setup was super easy, and I'd rate my likelihood to recommend it at an 11 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I would like if Action1 integrated with Rapid7.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 solves our security vulnerabilities, improves system performance, and makes our jobs easier. It's intuitive with a clean UI, clear tabs, and straightforward setup, enhancing our workflow.
