This is a very robust and feature packed software package. This helps my small school district manage its endpoints and see what software needs updated. I can use the remote desktop app to help my users and there is great asset information gathering by the easy to install agent. I like that I can remote update and restart an endpoint too.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The image quality any slower response time during a remote desktop is a small issue but overall works great. Some of the wizards to set up animation require input of notes that I don't always feel is needed but they are trying to be helpful in documentation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco S. | Cloud Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 helps with patching on Windows and Linux OS, especially with the new feature for Linux that really helps with cloud VMs maintenance. It's not only good for Linux patching, but I can also remote desktop into a Windows computer to provide end-user support, which is key for some roles. Having all in one solution reduces the headaches of maintaining multiple solutions for each OS and makes it easier for billing purposes, as I pay a single place for everything. I also appreciate the patching automation feature.

  ### 5. Strengthening Endpoint Security Through Automated Patch Compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard R. | VP/Chief Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Our Network Services team uses Action1 daily, and it has become an integral part of our endpoint management and security operations. The platform is intuitive and straightforward to administer, enabling us to automate Windows and third-party patching with confidence and consistency. The real-time visibility into patch status and vulnerabilities, combined with built-in remote management and scripting capabilities, allows the team to respond quickly and proactively. Its cloud-native architecture eliminates unnecessary complexity, and overall, it has proven to be a reliable, efficient solution that our team genuinely values and trusts.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

From our Network Services team’s perspective, Action1 delivers strong patch management and endpoint visibility, but there are areas where we would like to see continued evolution. We currently leverage a robust RMM platform from another provider, and while Action1 meets our patching needs very effectively, some of the broader RMM capabilities are still maturing. The remote access and advanced management features, in particular, would need to deepen further for us to fully consolidate tools. That said, we see meaningful progress and would welcome the opportunity to displace our existing solution as Action1’s functionality continues to expand.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From our Network Services team’s perspective, Action1 is solving the critical challenge of keeping all of our workstations and servers consistently patched across a hybrid work environment. With endpoints operating both on-premises and remotely, maintaining timely patch compliance is extremely important to our overall security posture. Action1 provides centralized visibility into missing updates and vulnerabilities and allows us to automate remediation for both Windows and third-party applications, ensuring systems stay current regardless of location.

Because it is cloud-native, we don’t have to rely on additional infrastructure or complex connectivity requirements to manage remote devices. This has strengthened our patch cadence, improved compliance reporting, and reduced manual effort for the team. Most importantly, it gives us confidence that our distributed environment is being managed proactively rather than reactively, which is essential in today’s threat landscape.

  ### 6. Indispensable for Tracking and Security of Patches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florent F. | DSI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I appreciated that Action1 adapts to the real world, functioning in the real life of an administrator faced with a changing world and a multitude of issues. I also appreciate their collaborative roadmap which is accessible in two clicks. Everyone can comment on it, vote, add their wishes, and see the progress of the roadmap, which ensures that the features developed by Action1 truly meet the expectations of the clients. Another aspect I like is their consideration of security at all levels, because a tool as powerful as Action1 must be perfectly secure, also contributing to the security of the company's machines and servers. Additionally, the setup was quite easy thanks to the tutorials, and I felt no friction in developing the use of the tool with my team.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The risk that the rate will increase significantly afterwards.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to monitor and automate patches and deployments, security is well considered. The collaborative roadmap ensures evolution focused on customer needs.

  ### 7. User-Friendly Patch Management with Fast, Accessible Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desiree M. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Beyond the user-friendly interface, I really like Action1’s patch management. It makes it easy to deploy updates and patches, install or uninstall software, and remotely connect to a computer when needed. I also appreciate the easy and quick deployment of automations which we greatly implement in our organization. As a free user, I also appreciate that customer support is easy to reach and responds quickly. Just to add, the webinars also help a lot while navigating through the system.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Based on our usage, the only real downside I’ve noticed is that remote chat isn’t available while you’re remotely connected to an endpoint. That said, as they mentioned in one of their webinars, this doesn’t seem to be a priority for them since they’re more focused on patch management than on being a remote connection tool.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 helps me manage Windows updates more effectively, including controlling and deploying them, and it also makes it easy to roll out automations across all endpoints. On top of that, I can quickly check for vulnerabilities and manage them across our endpoints without much effort.

  ### 8. Action1: Simple, Cloud-Native Endpoint Security with Fast, Automated Patching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bharath P. | Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

its simplicity and effectiveness in endpoint security and patch management. It provides real-time visibility of vulnerabilities across endpoints and enables fast remediation without complex infrastructure. The cloud-native architecture eliminates the need for on-prem servers, which makes deployment and scaling straightforward.

From a security operations perspective, I appreciate how Action1 combines vulnerability detection, automated patching, and remote access capabilities in a single lightweight platform. This reduces tool sprawl and helps security teams respond quickly to emerging threats.

I also value its focus on proactive risk reduction — especially automated patch deployment for third-party applications, which are often the biggest attack surface. The ability to prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity aligns well with modern risk-based security practices.

Overall, Action1 supports a practical, efficient, and security-first approach, which strongly resonates with how I approach cybersecurity operations.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Here’s a balanced, professional response you can use (positive but honest — good for interviews or applications):

While Action1 is very strong in patch management and vulnerability remediation, one area that could be improved is advanced customization and deep reporting capabilities for larger enterprise environments. Compared to some traditional enterprise tools, reporting flexibility and granular policy tuning can feel somewhat limited.

Additionally, organizations with highly complex infrastructure or hybrid/on-prem legacy environments may require additional integrations or complementary tools to achieve full coverage beyond endpoint management.

That said, these trade-offs are often the result of Action1’s strength — its simplicity and ease of deployment. For many organizations, especially those prioritizing speed, visibility, and efficient patching, the streamlined design is actually a major advantage.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 solves the critical problem of delayed patching and limited visibility across endpoints, which are two of the biggest contributors to security breaches. Many organizations struggle with knowing which devices are vulnerable, whether patches are successfully deployed, and how quickly they can remediate emerging threats. Action1 centralizes vulnerability detection, patch management, and remote endpoint control into a single cloud-based platform.

For me as a Security Engineer, this directly benefits daily operations by providing real-time visibility into endpoint risk posture. Instead of manually tracking vulnerabilities or relying on multiple disconnected tools, I can quickly identify high-risk systems and remediate them through automated patch deployment. This significantly reduces our exposure window to known exploits.

It also improves operational efficiency — less time spent on manual patch coordination means more time focusing on proactive security improvements, threat monitoring, and compliance initiatives (such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness). Overall, Action1 helps shift the security approach from reactive to proactive, which strengthens the organization’s overall security posture.

  ### 9. Seamless Endpoint Management with Action1

**Reviewed by:** Tim H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I appreciate the good interface and customizability of Action1. It is very easy to personalize the platform according to the organization, for example by uploading a different logo and adding or customizing scripts. I also find it particularly helpful to have the ability to manage updates dynamically through groups to ensure they always arrive when needed. Additionally, the initial setup of Action1 was very easy; I was able to set it up quickly and get started right away.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It would be very nice to be able to connect my own OIDC service as a login source. I use Authentik and would be happy to be able to log in through it. There is a script for restarting Linux devices, but if I want to perform the restart via the GUI, it doesn't work. An integration with Docker would be very helpful.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage devices at various locations and keep track of security vulnerabilities and patch status.

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I really appreciate Action1 for its automated patch management and vulnerability management. As a one man IT department in a small organization of about 100 people, having this kind of automation is a game changer. I love the ability to completely customize deployments, automations, and notifications. The remote desktop connections are great, and I find the online support library to be very impressive. It saves me a huge amount of time and effort since I can create custom deployments once and automate the process permanently. Setting it up was incredibly easy as well, allowing me to create a deployment package and automate the rollout effortlessly. Action1's affordability is a blessing for us, and I'm grateful for how accessible it makes these resources.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

So far, nothing. Great support, great product, incredibly reliable. Zero complaints.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a one man IT department for about 100 staff, so having Action1 automate patch and vulnerability management is a game changer. It allows me to create custom deployments once, saving a great amount of time and effort. It's affordable and crucial for us.

  ### 13. Action1 Makes Vulnerability Tracking and Remote Control Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristopher R. | IT Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I realy like the way how Action1 shows a list of my devices (endpoints) to track all the vulnerabilities and fix them. It's very simple to use and the remote control is another integration that I use all the time. Great perfomance, my devices aren't slow.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

All is great for me in this moment, even the security to login into my account in geat.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can track all my devices for vulnerabilities and I can give remote support form all them.

  ### 14. best solution I found for small businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** rob d. | it admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Action1 gives me real confidence that endpoints are truly patched—not just scheduled, attempted, or reported as compliant.

What stands out to me is how the patching is automated in a way that actually works, especially for third-party apps, which is where most real-world vulnerabilities tend to show up. I also like the near-real-time visibility into what’s missing, what failed, and the reasons behind it, so I’m not left guessing.

The reporting feels clear and honest, without “green checkmarks” that gloss over broken installs. On top of that, it’s cloud-native and essentially zero maintenance, so there’s no WSUS/SCCM/RMM babysitting. Overall, it strikes a good balance between control and simplicity: automation when I want it, and manual precision when I need it.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Remote login is sometimes slow and can lag.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 addresses unreliable patching and limited endpoint visibility by making updates fast, verifiable, and straightforward to manage.

For me, it removes the guesswork—especially around third-party patches—by providing real-time insight into what’s actually been fixed, without requiring me to maintain servers or deal with complex infrastructure.

  ### 15. Seamless Device Management with Invisible Costs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yusuf S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love the fact that Action1 offers 200 endpoints for free and the free part of it is actually true—there are no hidden fees. I feel like 200 devices is a lot for really getting the full usage out of an application. The setup was super easy; I just had to put a bunch of people in a group on Intune, download the MSI package, and add a few options like no restart and quiet, and it just works. It's great.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

One of the things that I don't like is that we need to deploy custom scripts for letting users know that we are connected, as well as when we disconnect. It would be nice if we had some type of banner or some sort of remote management indicator that we are connected.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for role, patch, and inventory management across various devices, including external ones. It lets me manage devices remotely and handle custom and Windows app installations easily.

  ### 16. Efficient Patching with Stellar Simplicity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artur R. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 performs its essential functions well without overcomplicating things with unnecessary features. The free tier is fantastic for smaller organizations, and it contributes to making everyone safer, which benefits all of us. I especially like the update rings feature, where updates are progressively rolled out in rings only once a certain number of successful updates have been completed. The installation process was nice and easy, with good documentation to help set everything up.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Overall it's pretty good but it would be nice to have a mobile app for those times when you are away from your desk or office and someone needs assistance. Getting back to your desk and PC may be inconvenient where a remote session via a mobile app may resolve the issue quickly.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for patch management and remote installations. It identifies endpoints missing updates and software vulnerabilities, enhancing our security.

  ### 17. Action1 Nails the Balance: Modern, Fast UI with Powerful Patch & Scan Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Action1 has a virtually perfect balance of features and ease of use. The UI is modern, clean, and importantly VERY quick to find modules and actually know where everything is. The functions it performs (patch updates, vulnerability scans, software deployments) are matched with the UI's speed and clear presentation.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Only minor downside to speak of is the remote desktop feature, mainly it's speed with handling multiple monitors. Very minor and the feature is still reliable and easy to use.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main win with Action1 is its solution to our machine and software patching. It effectively eliminates the need for on-prem update delivery servers, and is more performant and easier to use! The cherry on top; it's all FREE under the 200 endpoint threshold, which is great for our small k-12 organization.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback! We appreciate your feedback on the remote desktop feature and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 18. Action1 has been the most useful tool I have used in my 30 year career!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin O. | Technology director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Action1 has been the most useful tool I have used in my 30 year career of teaching technology in a computer lab and the past 20 as the Technology Director. The ability to remote into an endpoint and resolve an issue quickly, the ability to push out patches and updates has been a lifesaver for me. I only started out using it this past winter - I only wish I had found out about it sooner!!! Thank you for a GREAT product!

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There is no downside as far as I can tell!

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me help our users more efficiently and more quickly. I can quickly and easily patch devices or update software with minimal interaction.

  ### 19. Effortless Compliance and Update Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agostino L. | Specialista IT, Networking e Cyber Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like Action1 because it is very easy to set up and use, and it offers a ton of useful features. It gives us a centralized way to manage all updates for operating systems and third-party software, which is a big improvement over manually managing Windows updates and other software. Action1 is fully compliant with ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR, and SOC 2, helping us maintain high security standards essential for our requirements. It also provides a centralized dashboard for vulnerabilities and updates, which helps us support our company's regulations compliance like GDPR and NIS2.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It would be nice to have an option to group the vulnerabilities by software in the endpoint description instead of having all the CVEs. It's kind of cumbersome to see them all listed individually. A summary that highlights '1 software with critical vulnerabilities and 3 software with non-critical vulnerabilities' would be more helpful.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for automatic updates and vulnerability management, which centralizes control over OS and software updates, solving issues with outdated devices.

  ### 20. Easy to Setup with Excellent Automation Features, Needs Faster Console Refresh

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rene B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like the ease of use; the console is very easy to navigate. It's easy to set up, and the automations are great. I can see what software is installed and easily remove software. Adding items to the repository is pretty easy. Also, I appreciate the remote desktop assistance feature.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Some of the things that could be improved are the console itself and the speed at which it refreshes from the clients. It's not always accurate and takes a while to display the right telemetry. It might be helpful for the console to alert users that it may take up to five to ten minutes, so there's no confusion about what's reported. Also, the reporting could improve. The navigation of the help desk site could be more streamlined for finding resources.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for inventory applications, remote desktop, and support. It simplifies software installation and removal, and the console is easy to navigate. Action1 replaced our remote assistance vendor, SolarWinds, and facilitates easy automation and remote desktop assistance.

  ### 21. Effortless Patch Management and Windows Updates in Just a Few Clicks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

The ability to patch third-party software and update Windows with just a few clicks has easily made this my go-to tool for getting machines into compliance. It works right away, unlike Intune. I also like that I can run scripts, review the automation history, and watch automations run in real time, which makes it easier to see what’s happening as it happens. On top of that, being free for life for up to 200 machines is a huge plus and makes it the best RMM I’ve ever used.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The remote desktop features leave a lot to be desired. Latency is noticeable, and screen updates don’t feel as smooth or responsive as they should. Overall, the RDP experience could really use improvement.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating my entire fleet, including 3rd party apps, through patch rings really makes my life easier. It’s also straightforward to see which vulnerabilities each machine has, along with the total count. Now I spend about five minutes on Monday instead of endless hours trying to get installation scripts working in Intune. Deploying Action1 through Intune was simple to set up initially as well. Another nice benefit is that it’s free for the first 200 machines, and I can revoke licenses to stay under that limit.

  ### 22. Effortless Compliance and Update Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 to keep all my systems' third-party apps up to date for SOC2 compliance. It's a super easy quick software deployment tool that works well as a supplement for Intune. I love that it handles frequent browser updates because many users don't hit the "update" button or reboot often, saving me a lot of short calls to users. The ability to pick and choose who to update and when is fantastic as it allows me to stagger updates around big meetings, based on user feedback. I also use the remote desktop control feature a lot and appreciate that it connects with Intune for auto deployment. Starting for free was a big plus, and the initial setup was very easy as I just followed the instructions. I can confidently say I'd recommend it to a friend or colleague, rating it a 10 on the likelihood scale.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Maybe a little better way to see systems that are consistently failing on updates. Sort of like a red flag would be nice.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to keep all my 3rd party apps up to date for SOC2 compliance. It saves me from frequent short calls to users by handling browser updates and allows me to manage updates around users' schedules, avoiding conflicts with important meetings.

  ### 23. Perfect Fit for Small Business Patch Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inam M. | IT Manager, Security and Investigations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 provides a platform for keeping almost all apps up to date, which is crucial for compliance and security. The pricing is a big plus for me, as it's free for 100 endpoints, making it perfect for a small business that can't afford all the IT tools larger companies use. I also appreciate the Patch Management feature, which allows me to automate updates for approved software on specific weekdays. The initial setup was very easy; I just deployed the Action1 agent from Intune to all endpoints and it has worked smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Sometimes manual approval of updates gets too repetitive. While I do want control for most updates, some such as Chrome and Edge are safe enough to have an auto-approval. An auto approval feature would be a nice to have.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for patch management, ensuring all software is up to date for compliance and security. It provides an interface to keep almost all apps updated and helps with remote monitoring.

  ### 24. Highly Effective Endpoint Management with Action1

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 to manage updates and patching for my SMB's endpoints. I like that it provides visibility into what needs updating and what is still vulnerable. It offers a single location for managing all endpoints without having to touch each device manually. I also appreciate that it gives a list of all installed software for our endpoints, allowing me to review and ensure unauthorized software isn't installed. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to GPO, and setting up groups in Action1 was straightforward. I highly recommend Action1 and would rate it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

It would be nice to have a progress bar for the update tasks. It shows what it's working on but doesn't provide an idea of how long each update would take. Especially with larger updates, it would be nice to see the download or update installation progress.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to manage updates and patching for my SMB's endpoints, providing visibility into what needs updating and addressing vulnerabilities. It centralizes endpoint management, negating the need for manual handling and lets me review all installed software for unauthorized installations.

  ### 25. Effortless Deployment, Enhanced Security, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aron K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love Action1 for its ease of deployment, reliability, intuitive dashboard, and seamless third-party patching. It simplifies the complexity of manual patch management and complex setups. With Action1, I just deploy the agent and start improving my security posture. The 3rd-party patching process, which is usually challenging, becomes straightforward and efficient. What makes it very valuable to me is that it gives me a real-time overview of all vulnerabilities in my environment and I was able to set up the environment within just one hour.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Support is limited and responses sometimes are slow.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 for vulnerability and patch management, improving best practices, simplifying deployments, and accelerating patching. Its ease of deployment, reliability, and intuitive dashboard remove complexities, providing a real-time overview of vulnerabilities, making 3rd-party patching straightforward and boosting my security posture.

  ### 26. Comprehensive IT Solution with Free Endpoint Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I really like that Action1 solves several problems for the small business I work with, such as providing updates and patches, remote helpdesk and maintenance, vulnerability monitoring, and inventory management. With Action1, I don't have to search for updates for various software and hardware. Accessing computers while staff are at lunch to fix issues and looking up serial numbers for warranty purposes is direct and easy. I also appreciate that all these uses work very well. One standout feature is that the first 200 endpoints are free, which is incredibly helpful when budgets are tight in IT. This feature allows for more flexibility in budgeting considerations. The initial setup of Action1 was very easy and user-friendly. It's also very fully featured, so I can focus only on the immediate needs without diving deeply into all the capabilities. I've paid for Action1 in the past and will likely do so again because it is so valuable. I want Action1 to succeed and support it since it has provided such valuable services.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Some major and frequent updates are not built in for quick rollout. We've developed scripts to install some Autodesk updates, but it doesn't work for all the Autodesk updates. It would be helpful for Action1 to partner with Autodesk to the extent that all (many and frequent) updates are built-in to the software repository.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to search for updates, can access computers remotely, and manage inventory easily. Action1 is budget-friendly with 200 free endpoints, adding flexibility for small businesses.

  ### 27. Comfort and Solvency in Version Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I primarily use Action1 to manage the application versions on office equipment. The great convenience it offers by not having to go personally to the workstation and the help in showing the defects and vulnerabilities recorded on each device is invaluable. I really like the wide range of possibilities it offers. Additionally, the easy management and the reliability of the graphical environment are aspects I enjoy quite a lot.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The Linux libraries section is an area that doesn't work so well, as it lacks notification of what vulnerabilities exist with the library and application versions of Linux systems. Even if it's just to tell the user that a global update of them is necessary. Additionally, specifying which libraries are obsolete and no longer used would be useful to remove or update them if necessary. It is also initially difficult to adapt, but through videos and tutorials, it becomes easier.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to manage application versions, avoiding going personally to the workstations. Additionally, it helps me identify defects and vulnerabilities in the equipment.

  ### 28. Efficient Vulnerability and Patch Management with Minor Remote Support Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit P. | Senior Manager IT , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I started using Action1 a few months ago, and I am happy with its capabilities. The tool can be managed by the IT team without requiring highly skilled personnel, and the user interface is very user-friendly. Once you install the agent on any endpoint, it starts to sync and push data to the console efficiently. I like the comprehensive device controls available for applying patches and the overall effectiveness of the UI. Action1 helps identify vulnerabilities quickly and allows me to fix them by applying patches. Features like taking endpoint remote access, managing scheduled reboots, auto remediation, and obtaining valuable reports for compliance are really helpful. Additionally, the initial setup was good and quick.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I find it lagging in Remote support, especially since the screen doesn't refresh quickly when taking remote access. There is also a lack of filters on the vulnerabilities and patches screen to filter with device groups and export the filtered data in CSV. Additionally, Action1 is not helping to remediate or manage Linux-based workloads.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to identify vulnerabilities and missing patches across endpoints, apply patches, and manage device inventory. It provides endpoint remote access, schedule management, auto-remediation, and valuable compliance reports. Its user-friendly UI and ease of management without needing a highly skilled team are great benefits.

  ### 30. Great Patch Management Tool with Room to Improve on Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Humam A. | System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 offers full functionality for the first 200 endpoints at no cost, making it very practical for MSP use and smaller environments. The platform is straightforward to use, especially for patch management and remote scripting, which saves us time in daily operations. I appreciate how responsive the development team is to community feedback, with frequent updates that are clearly aligned with real user needs. The patch management feature is great as it allows us to automate updates across multiple customer environments, providing clear visibility into missing patches. The remote scripting feature is valuable for quick fixes and repetitive tasks, allowing me to run scripts across multiple endpoints without the need for full remote sessions. The initial setup of Action1 was very straightforward, with quick deployment and simple agent installation, enabling us to manage endpoints almost immediately without complications.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The remote desktop feature can be slow and laggy at times, especially compared to dedicated remote access tools, which can impact troubleshooting efficiency. It would also be beneficial to have connection options beyond the web interface, as a standalone client or alternative access method could improve performance and usability.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 automates patch management, keeping endpoints consistently updated without manual effort. It provides clear visibility into missing patches and speeds troubleshooting with remote scripting, saving time. It's straightforward to use, offers essential features for small environments, and has a responsive development team.

  ### 31. Dashboard Visibility, Network Software Insights, and Easy Remote Desktop Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Best features for me are the Dashboard that allows me to quickly see the vulnerabilities at a glance, the ability to see installed software across the network and the remote desktop that is easily accessible. The initial setup was easy and the documentation was really helpful

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The software removal doesn’t always work, but I’ve found a few ways to use scripting to work around those issues. The fact that it is an online service it can be a little slow when moving between menu items, but nothing that bothers me too much. The installation and integration with AD took a little bit of fiddling to get right but once setup i could forget it completely

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The latest release has made it possible for me to use it across more Linux distros, which makes it much easier to keep track of my entire network. Also, the free tier being increased to 200 endpoints has really helped me test the product in a larger-scale deployment.

  ### 32. Effortless Setup, Enhanced Deployment Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom W. | It and Accounting Clerk, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 to update our Windows and Mac workstations and Windows servers. It makes it much easier to be aware of vulnerabilities and patch them quicker, and I also appreciate how much easier it is to reconfigure workstations in groups. The auto deployment combined with the update ring has been really lovely. Having an easy way to add new devices saves a lot of hassle, and being able to test the updates before they go out to the whole organization has saved headaches. It was very easy to deploy the agents, which enhances its usability.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The only issue I have, it sometimes reasons for failed deployments can be hard to understand. An update can fail and the error message is very simple, which isn't necessarily the most helpful.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to update our Windows and Mac workstations and servers. It simplifies detecting vulnerabilities and patching them quickly. It also makes it easier to reconfigure workstations in groups and saves hassle by allowing easy device addition and update testing.

  ### 33. Straightforward Deployment, Clean Portal, and Great GitHub Scripts + API Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** andre l. | IT consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

It does what it says on the tin. The software is very straightforward to install on endpoints, and it can also be easily deployed via Intune, so it’s a real no-brainer.

Once it’s in place, there are plenty of actions you can take through the portal, which I find easy and straightforward to use. Overall, it feels clean and simple.

The biggest bonus, if I may say so, is the GitHub repository, with plenty of script samples in PS and other options you can use. And don’t forget the API access if you need to tailor small apps for the IT department.

Lastly, you can really use the product to its full potential before committing yourself or your business to it, which is pretty rare these days.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

TBH, I do not know.
Right know there is nothing I dislike about.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reboot pending, updates, security.
Basically making IT life easier since it is easy to check the status of the Business estate in one simple portal.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Andre,

It's great to hear that Action1 is making IT management easier for you and your business. Thank you for your positive feedback!

  ### 34. Fast, Reliable Software Distribution with Action1

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | Company Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love the speed of the action at Action1. When I click 'deploy', the client starts the installation within seconds, without waiting times or unclear ETAs, it just starts immediately. I also appreciate the free option for 200 devices, which provides an ideal way to get acquainted with the product. It really offers the chance to get to know Action1. It makes my work much easier. The initial installation was super easy; you deploy an MSI and it automatically comes into our tenant at Action1, after which you can do everything with the client. We switched from Intune because the speed there was unpredictable, and Action1 is strong in this regard.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

If the Entra integration can work natively, that would be nice. We currently have a workaround because it was a big wish for us to install software based on employee rights. Yes, there is still some poor sorting in the reports, which causes incorrect sorting, resulting in the order 1, 20, 3, 31.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to gain control over vulnerabilities and have access to an easy platform to resolve them. I greatly appreciate the quick action without waiting times and the ability to start installations within seconds.

  ### 35. Streamlined Device Management with Action1's Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 as an RMM for our Windows devices, about 600 of them, and I really love the ease of deployment to our devices and the initial setup. Action1 replaced two very manual and outdated products we used before. It's great because it greatly simplified management of Windows updates and deploying apps and scripts with their automation. Setting up Action1 to take control of our Windows and third-party updates was a very simple process, and I finished it in less than an afternoon. Deploying the agent is simple and quick, and Action1 offers multiple options for deployment. I particularly enjoy the automated updates and the remote access functionality, which we use the most. Action1 provides the deep info and reporting that I really wanted to monitor deployment and device health. I also used Intune to push it out, but you could also use a group policy for Windows. I am really excited about some of the things on their roadmap like the self-service store. I demoed five different RMMs and Action1 was the only one that was easily approachable and had all the features I wanted, and then some.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There are a few customizable options that I would like to have. By default, when pushing out apps/updates, there is a checkbox to turn off manual Windows updates. This is a feature I would like to leave on for my users, so it would be nice if I could turn off the option that is there entirely. My technicians don't always notice the checkbox and so may accidentally block manual updates for a user, which can cause confusion.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 simplified management of Windows updates and app deployment with automation, offering deep reporting for device health. It replaced outdated systems, improved remote access, and eased deployment, making it easy to manage around 600 devices.

  ### 36. Efficient Patch Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ad A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like Action1's easy-to-use interface and quick onboarding process. We onboarded in a couple of days for macOS and Windows machines and added Linux when it was available. The detailed information it provides is valuable, and the easy search function makes data easily fetchable. I also appreciate the ability to track vulnerabilities daily and create automatic patch deployments that run weekly. The integration with our other systems, like EDR and directory services, using the API to fetch and organize data is quite helpful.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

We had to find an alternative to fetch macOS encryption status, which we get from our EDR. It would be good to have status on browser extensions, though I'm not sure if it's missing as I haven't checked it yet. The reporting could be easier to use. Also, some tables aren't exportable, like the main endpoints table, which is a bit of a hassle. It was also a bit challenging to have a risk score per endpoint to quickly determine which endpoints are vulnerable and need immediate patching. Connecting to HR and directory systems to easily correlate endpoints with their owners would be a good addition.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to manage endpoint posture, track vulnerabilities, and automate patch deployments, all with easy onboarding and detailed information. It quickly helps us control updates and deploy tools, providing visibility into our endpoints without needing MDM.

  ### 37. Effortless Remote Management, Phenomenal Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Technology Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 is a great remote tool for keeping track of about 150 computers and helps keep our computers secure by notifying us of needed updates. It's great that the first 200 computers are free. I find the automations nice and helpful for keeping computers up to date as needed. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I do wish that Action1 had a dashboard to show which computers haven't been restarted in a while. I know you can do it one at a time in telling but not all together. It would just be nice to see a dashboard to see if a computer hasn't been restarted in a long time because we all know that recent restart makes the computer run better.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to track about 150 computers, keeping them updated and remote into them as needed. It helps keep our computers secure by notifying us of needed updates. The automations make it easier to keep computers up to date.

  ### 38. Easy to Use, Clean UI/UX, and Solid Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin C. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

What I like most is how easy it is to use and how quick the learning curve feels. The UI/UX is clean and pleasant, and overall performance has been solid.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

There should be more integrations with other solutions and an easier, more straightforward way to integrate them.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action1 helps solve patch management, software installation, and onboarding for new computers and users. It also makes mass deployment of applications much easier.

  ### 39. Incredible Value, Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I really appreciate that Action1 offers the first 200 devices for free for a small business like mine. That's an incredible value and made the decision much easier because security threats don't care about company size, and Action1 clearly understands and supports that reality. Also, the initial setup was the easiest of any tool I've ever used in my twenty-year IT career.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

The screen sharing piece can be a little laggy sometimes, but that's not the primary use case we have for the tool.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I handle third-party and Windows patching through Action1 and use its screen-sharing feature, which helps manage security efficiently.

  ### 40. Amazing Full-Featured Product with 200 Endpoints and an Easy-to-Manage Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin C. | Local admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

The fact that they give 200 endpoints with a full featured product, amazing, the interface is easy to manage, granted i have only touched on most of it but looking forward to learning more.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I wish it supported more types of endpoints. It already has a decent list, but I’d feel more confident if I could be sure it’s properly updating my LXC containers, etc. ARM-based updates would also be handy. And, of course, it doesn’t support auto-reboot for Linux systems just yet.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time and reduces guesswork. The environment is clean, and it’s almost a one-stop shop for listing vulnerabilities and helping keep systems clean and up to date.

  ### 41. Patching and App Installs That Just Work—Nothing Beats Action1

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenny B. | Company Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Patching and application installation just works. We've used other patching platforms in the past and NOTHING beats Action1. We HIGHLY recommend. Installation is easy using the provided curl commands. Customer Support responds super quick and is quite helpful. The weekly webinars are a must.

We perform patching at least once a week and push out software frequently. It integrates easily into new environments.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Some issues we've seen are feature updates aren't installed through a patching cycle, but requires different configuration.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had issues with patching solutions not patching properly. Action1 patches on time and every time. Some customers aren't happy to reboot their computers during business hours, but we're getting computers updated now.

  ### 42. A great product for free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

This product has allowed us to terminate other services that were having year-over-year price increases. This does 90% of what we need it to do and more. It's very easy to use, the customer support via Discord and email has been acceptable, and the number of features for a free product is impressive.
We've submitted improvement suggestions and voted on existing ones, and they've already been implemented. It was very easy to impliment and we use it nearly daily.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I would like to see the Remote Support function either integrated with something like RustDesk or AnyDesk or rebuilt with more functions. It works as it is, but it is very crude.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using a combination of products to manage our endpoints. With WSUS for Windows updates, and Lansweeper for package deployments and updates.
This has eliminated both and does a way better job at package deployment than lansweeper.

  ### 43. All-in-One Solution for Efficient Computer Estate Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul L. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Action1?**

Everything you need from an agent is conveniently gathered in one place, making it much easier to manage, support, and stay in control of your estate. This setup also helps you keep on top of tasks that would otherwise take up a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Report subscriptions only permit a single recipient, which means that if you want to send the same report to multiple people, you have to create separate subscriptions and schedules for each recipient.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

action1 addresses several ISO27001 and CE+ requirements by automating Windows updates, as well as deploying software and software updates. It also provides me with an overview of my systems and potentially enables proactive maintenance.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Paul,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Action! We appreciate your feedback on the report subscriptions and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 44. Effortless Windows Patching with Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete S. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I use Action1 for Windows patching, updates, and identifying vulnerabilities, and it saves us a lot of time compared to WSUS. I really appreciate the centralized Windows patch management that lets me deploy Windows security, cumulative, and driver updates all from one place, with the ability to schedule installs during off-hours. I also like the automation for software deployment, which pushes software installs to many endpoints at once and retries installs automatically for systems that are offline. This provides a consistent way to deploy tools across staff PCs and servers. Additionally, I value the endpoint visibility and update status tracking, which shows which endpoints are checking in and helps identify machines that are missing updates or haven't reported in, supporting vulnerability awareness across the environment. Setting it up was very easy, taking only about 4 hours to deploy the client to all staff workstations via Windows Group Policy.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I think there could be more support for automated software deployment. Specifically, the number of software pre-packaged deployments that are available is lacking...not bad...but just a bit. For example, we use Exacqvision Client software and Action1 does not have a pre-packaged 'out-of-the-box' solution for this, so we have to either script it manually or install it on each computer.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Action1 saves us a lot of time compared to WSUS, centralizes Windows patch management, automates software deployment, and offers endpoint visibility with update status tracking, all within an easy setup. Thet product has also helped us with customer support, in that when a staff member appears to be having a security issue we can easily identify the vulnerabilities with the staff members system using Action1. Also we use the product every day and it was very easy to integrate into our daily routine.

  ### 45. Effortless Cloud-Based Solution with Extensive Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love that Action1 is so easy to use and is a cloud-based solution, which makes it much more comprehensive compared to WSUS. I appreciate that it helps keep everything current and updated and provides good insights into my desktop inventory. It's great that Action1 allows me to identify needs within the organization, like who needs more memory or whose anti-virus is outdated, and I can deploy software packages to a fleet of computers. The initial setup was very easy, as it just required me to update my antivirus rules and DNS whitelist. I also like that it scales well, even with a company of about 50 people.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Can't think of anything.... I am more pleased than I anticipated. I should have ditched WSUS years ago

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to keep everything current and updated, gain insights into desktop inventory, and deploy software packages. It's a cloud-based solution that's easy to use, with more features and tools than WSUS.

  ### 46. Efficient Management, Remote Access Needs Improvement

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like Action1 because it helps us manage the clients' machine park, which is essential for our IT support company. Organized management is something I really appreciate, along with automations, as they make it easier to perform the routine services we provide. Additionally, these automations run in the background on the clients' computers, which is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I don't like that remote access in Action1 doesn't transmit keyboard commands like copy and paste or Control + R. I also miss a file transfer box during the remote session. Due to these small issues, we often need to use third-party remote access software to make the connection, such as AnyDesk or RustDesk.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to remotely manage clients' machine parks, control hardware inventory, and automate scripts, which organizes our management well.

  ### 47. Action1 does EXACTLY what it says and more. Beyond my expectations.

**What do you like best about Action1?**

The "Free" aspect. It REALLY does provide EVERYTHING even for users with only around 50 endpoints. It's VERY easy to use. It also replaces the remote desktop application I used!

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Maybe a wider variety of baked in sofltware repository apps.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better than WSUS and/or Intune. Easy automation. At-a-glance fleet health. One stop patching for Windows AND Linux. Software & script deployment. Remote Assistance app.

  ### 48. Effortless Third-Party Patching with a Clean, “Just Works” Interface

**What do you like best about Action1?**

The biggest thing for us at Enriquez MSP is just how simple the whole platform is to navigate. I’ve used plenty of tools that feel like they were built in the 90s, but this one is actually snappy and doesn't require a manual to find what you need. Getting it set up was a breeze, too, we had the agent out on our first batch of endpoints in minutes without any "hoops" to jump through.

I’m logged into the dashboard pretty much every single day just to keep an eye on things. It’s packed with a lot more than just basic patching; having the built-in vulnerability stats and the remote access tools all in one place saves us from jumping between three different apps. It also slots right into our existing stack without causing any weird conflicts or headaches.

Honestly, even their team has been great. Any time we’ve had a quick question, they’ve been super responsive, which is a relief because normally you're waiting days for a "help desk" to get back to you. It just makes my life a lot easier when the tool does what it says it's going to do.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

If I had to nitpick, the remote desktop tool is a little basic. It works fine for a quick fix, but it's missing some of the "quality of life" features you see in dedicated tools, like a more intuitive way to drag and drop files or a better multi-monitor view.

Also, the reporting is decent for internal use, but I wish I could customize the layout a bit more when I'm trying to send a polished "security health" PDF over to a client. Right now, it's a bit more "data-heavy" than "client-friendly." Nothing that stops us from using it, but those are the two areas where I think they could polish things up a bit.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest headache it solved for us was the constant "manual" feel of keeping our clients secure. Before, we were basically playing whack-a-mole with third-party updates, one client would be on an old version of Zoom, another would have an unpatched browser, and it was a mess to track. Action1 basically took that off our plate. It’s saved us a ton of time on the help desk because we aren't manually pushing basic updates anymore; the platform just handles it.

It also gives us a way better "security story" to tell our clients. Instead of just saying "we keep you updated," we can actually see the real-time vulnerability data and fix things before they turn into a ticket. For a smaller team like ours, it honestly feels like having an extra technician on staff who just handles the tedious patching 24/7. It lets us focus on the bigger consulting projects and growing the business instead of getting bogged down in the "small stuff" that usually eats up our mornings.

**Official Response from Kimberly Gonzales:**

> Hi Francisco,

We're thrilled to hear that you find Action1's platform simple and efficient to navigate. We strive to provide a user-friendly experience and are glad to hear that it has been a breeze to set up and integrate into your existing stack. We appreciate your feedback on the remote desktop tool and reporting, and we'll take it into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 49. Effortless Deployment and Versatile Management

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I love the super simple setup and deployment of Action1. Managing updates for products beyond just Microsoft is a big plus for me. The visibility and remote desktop capabilities are fantastic. It's really easy for me to deploy to endpoints, which saves a lot of time compared to other solutions. The remote desktop feature is convenient because it skips having to use another product, making quick help desk situations more efficient and easier for end-users.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

I wish that there was more visibility into whether endpoints were online or offline on more of the different screens. It's easy to see which ones are connected or disconnected on the main screen endpoint screen, but it would be nice when trying to deploy updates or seeing what's missing, if it would show whether or not they were on or offline.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Action1 easier to use than WSUS, and it simplifies setup and deployment, saving time. It allows me to manage updates for various products and offers fantastic visibility and remote desktop capabilities, making help desk tasks quicker and easier for end users.

  ### 50. Efficient Patching with Great Remote Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy O. | Manager Information Systems, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Action1?**

I like that Action1 is free for the first 200 endpoints, which is fantastic for my needs since we only have about 25 endpoints. I also appreciate its remote access feature that allows me to log in from anywhere and perform tasks even for purposes other than patching. Its ability to run almost any task on the clients from the web console is a great functionality. Although the initial setup took some time to understand, the AI assistance made it easily manageable in a day.

**What do you dislike about Action1?**

Even though it has a ton of customizable options, not everything is customizable. A few extra options to customize would be nice. I would like to be able to customize the interface a little more, like being able to edit screens by removing unnecessary column headers, etc.

**What problems is Action1 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Action1 to deploy patches efficiently and keep software updates stable. Its free access, remote capabilities, and task execution from the web console are fantastic, especially for our 25 endpoints.
