It doesn't sync what you watched on it with with the website and is very clunky to use. It not clear which episode you left off on and you have to go back through and scroll to try and find where you were. Cutting over from video to audio is also a terrible experience. I know that I can see the most up-to-date information and the newest certificate knowledge. I think that the wide range of topics is also instrumental since Information Technology jobs are not always specialized to one field and can cover many topics this is extremely helpful. IT pro tv also offers introductions to the courses that achieve an overview while not bombarding the user with too much information. **What do you dislike about ACI Learning [ITPro]?** I think it would be helpful to provide older resources and materials for past certifications. There are many times that older information is still in use by companies and clients, so having that reference all in one place would be nice. They have the most diverse course offering by far, which makes the subscription so valuable. The search feature is really excellent. For example, there isn't a Microsoft Intune course or certification, but just by typing 'Intune' into the search box, I was able to locate several lessons that taught things about this skill. The other area where ITProTV shines above all others is their willingness to create a video series based on teaching a skill rather than just certification-based training. They have videos on configuring firewalls, virtualization, and other skills. Many vendors only release video series geared at certifications, which, while valuable, misses the whole point of learning to learn. I cannot recommend this service enough. **What do you dislike about ACI Learning [ITPro]?** The only downsides, in my opinion, are the lesson intros for each video. If you watch a 30 video series, you will see the same show host introduce themselves 30 separate times. In their TV episode-type format, I guess that's unavoidable, but a smart skip feature would be nice. They offer accelerated courses for some certs like Net+ and Sec+, and I wish all courses had this to watch as a refresher after you finish the main course. Other than that, not much to complain about. **What problems is ACI Learning [ITPro] solving and how is that benefiting you?** I completed my Network+ certification a few months ago and plan on testing for Security+ in the next two weeks, thanks to the skills I have learned through ITProTV. I also can jump on and learn something any time a technical need arises at my workplace. The videos are a great format being hosted in a presenter TV Show type fashion rather than a narrated PowerPoint. The included labs and practice tests (Premium Members) are also a great addition and really round off the platform and allow you to practice and get the full experience. **What do you dislike about ACI Learning [ITPro]?** Sometimes the iOS App can be a bit temperamental and can sometimes mean that the app crashes and needs a restart so you can start to watch the videos. Also the practice tests are sometimes out of date, although it must be noted this is out of ITPro.TVs control. **Recommendations to others considering ACI Learning [ITPro]:** Check out the different licensing levels available and see if one of the licensing levels suits you best. Check out the competition to see if they offer more for the money. All training platforms suit different people. Personally I find this great as the hosting style makes you feel like your in a classroom. If buying for business, I highly recommend seeing what learning style works best for the staff members. If you need an all in platform that includes practices tests and virtual labs then do some shopping around, there are others available but make sure you check them all out. It would be worth getting a trial period or as an individual try some of the free weekends that they have a available so that you can explore the platform even further. All in all do your research and work out what works best for your team! The access to virtual labs, and the ability to take the practice tests (formally called Transender) is a great feature, both educationally and financially. ITProTV has both certification courses and hands-on real-world videos as well. **What do you dislike about ACI Learning [ITPro]?** Some of the numberings of episode videos are confusing/annoying. They may go from 1.5 to 1.999,199991,1.99992, etc. Sometimes they are shown in a different order than recorded, which can lead to the host referring back to something they said to a topic that hasn't been posted yet or gotten to (if following in order). **What problems is ACI Learning [ITPro] solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used ITProTV, the labs, and Practice tests to obtain my CCNA R &S certification.
