ACL Learning is definitely moving towards the direction that I mentioned above. The pace should be even more rapid: with the advancements of AI, automation happening outside, the changes should rippled to the simulated labs, exercises faster, to best serve the audiences. What problems is ACI Learning [ITPro] solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is addressing several key challenges in IT education, particularly the need to bridge the gap between academic instruction and practical, industry-aligned skills. As a university professor, I often find that while our curriculum provides strong theoretical foundations, students benefit greatly from supplementary resources that expose them to real-world tools, terminology, and workflows. ACI Learning’s content supports this need by offering up-to-date, professionally guided training aligned with certifications and practical IT roles.

The platform benefits me in two important ways: first, It helps reinforce topics I cover in class, especially in areas like system administration, networking, and cybersecurity. The video tutorials and assessments serve as effective supplemental materials or flipped classroom resources; second, it enhances my students’ job market preparedness by introducing them to tools and scenarios they’re likely to encounter in professional IT environments.

I would like add one more thing here: ACL respondes very swiftly to new technologies. When ChatGPT just came out, for instance, they already developed a suite of practices labs for security applications of ChatGPT. Impressive and very timely! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ACI Learning [ITPro]?

What I find most helpful about ACI Learning IT Pro is how easy it is to access and see the cost and details of each plan. I also appreciate being able to learn IT and cybersecurity through video courses tailored to CompTIA certification, which helps with breaking into the tech industry. Additionally, it s useful that there are other options like AWS, Microsoft, and even Linux available, allowing me to build more in-demand skills. The courses are easy to understand, and implementation and integration are straightforward. Customer support is excellent for answering questions and providing clarification. What do you dislike about ACI Learning [ITPro]?

The least helpful thing about ACI Learning IT Pro is that the ITPro Standard plan doesn’t offer a monthly option and is only available as an annual plan. AuditPro has the same limitation. It can sometimes take a few months for updated content. For example, the CompTIA Linux+ XK0-005 exam retired on January 13, 2026. It almost feels like you're learning from coworkers rather than sitting through a lecture.

The video content is paired with detailed notes, guided labs, and practice tests that make it easier to reinforce what you’ve learned. The platform is well-designed, and the mobile app is smooth—great for squeezing in study time during commutes or lunch breaks.
