**What do you like best about YouCanBookMe?**

What I find most useful is how it reduces the need for repeated back and forth when coordinating meeting times. In my day to day use, instead of suggesting multiple time slots manually, I rely on a single booking link that reflects my real-time availability based on my connected calendar, which was straightforward to integrate and worked reliably without additional configuration. This makes the scheduling process more predictable and removes unnecessary coordination steps. I use it regularly as part of my weekly scheduling workflow, especially when coordinating one on one meetings. During setup, I configured working hours, buffer time between meetings and basic availability rules. Once this was in place, the system handled most of the scheduling logic automatically by blocking unavailable slots and confirming bookings directly into my calendar. This has been particularly helpful in maintaining a consistent structure without needing to manually track availability.

Over time, I also found the booking form to be practically useful. Collecting a few details before the meeting helps establish context in advance, which reduces the need for initial clarification during the call. From a workflow perspective, this creates a more prepared and structured interaction. While I haven’t needed extensive interaction with customer support, the available help resources and guidance during setup were clear enough to resolve initial configuration questions.

Overall, the platform fits well into a simple scheduling workflow and remains reliable for managing one on one meetings without requiring ongoing adjustments.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

The main limitations I’ve noticed are tied to the free plan. While it covers basic scheduling needs, customization options for the booking page remain fairly limited, particularly in terms of branding and layout flexibility. This becomes more noticeable when trying to maintain a more consistent or personalized external presentation.

Another constraint is the restriction to a single booking page and one connected calendar. For straightforward use cases this works well, but it can become limiting when trying to manage different types of meetings or workflows separately over time.

The initial setup also requires some attention to detail, especially when configuring availability rules, time zones and buffer settings. While not overly complex, it does require a bit of careful setup to ensure the scheduling behaves as expected in all scenarios.

Overall, these are manageable tradeoffs, but they become more relevant as usage grows beyond basic scheduling needs.

Before using it, scheduling meetings involved multiple steps such as suggesting time slots, waiting for responses and adjusting availability based on back and forth communication. While manageable, this process introduced small inefficiencies, especially when coordinating with new contacts or across different schedules. With YouCanBookMe, this process becomes more centralized. My availability is already aligned with my calendar and sharing a booking link allows others to select a suitable time without additional coordination. Confirmations are handled automatically, which reduces the chances of overlap or missed updates. From a workflow standpoint, this shifts scheduling from a manual coordination task to a more structured and self service process. It simplifies how meetings are arranged and makes the overall experience more consistent without requiring constant involvement.

I mostly use YouCanBookMe for booking meetings without doing all back‑forth messaging. It’s easier to send someone my link and they pick whatever time works for them, it saves me  lot of time. I use it to keep my calendar organized it syncs everything automatically, I don’t end up double booking myself like before.

the syncing feel slow / doesn’t update right away, so end up double checking my calendar . Some the customization options are kinda hidden  take to long too figure out, and interface feels bit outdated in some places. a few features that should be simple

mainly solved whole back‑forth of trying to find  time that works for everyone. Before this was always messaging people asking “are you free ” and then they sayhours later and the slot is gone. Now I just send link and they pick whatever works them, so it saves a lot of time

YouCanBookMe is very easy to use and fits perfectly into my clinic routine. As a clinic manager and certified dietician, I use it daily to manage diet consultations and homeopathy follow ups. Setting it up was quick, and I didn’t need any technical help. The automatic reminders and confirmations save me from missed appointments, and I like how easily I can adjust my availability or block time between patients. It also helps reduce scheduling confusion among patients, which saves a lot of time. Overall, it keeps my clinic workflow smooth and organized. It syncs smoothly with Google Calendar, making daily appointment tracking simple and reliable.

The best I love about the platform is the simplicity and easy access of this platform. This platform specializes in fixing appointments and does an excellent job in execution of the appointment. I love this platform for its ability to choose on how and which application the meeting will be done as clients as well as different individuals have different choice of meeting platforms. This really enhances the comfortability on the other end. The overall productivity of using the platform is high despite is concentrated application.

The rebooking feature allows you to rebook an appointment with another team member. However, it does not remove the rebooked appointment - you have to cancel that separately. I would like to built-in reports.

YCBM is a great scheduling tool when it works, but needs more 'basic' functionality.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

1. I am extremely disappointed with YCBM support, as despite implementing the system for scheduling, the support team appears unfamiliar with managing time zones, struggled to book in GMT, provided incorrect guidance, and lacked a crucial function, leaving a simple issue—where my team couldn’t view round-robin appointments—unresolved for over a week, resulting in two missed appointments and financial loss, while the support representative wrongly implied the error was mine and advised changing a time zone setting that didn’t exist.

2. YCBM should allow for individual personalization of notifications rather than applying the same settings to all appointments.  

3. There needs to be a function for diary owners to label appointments differently, such as "Second Appointment" or "Personal Appointment," to support accurate data analysis.  

4. The export data function is overly detailed and complex, making it difficult to extract and use the information efficiently.  

5. Individual adviser availability should work across multiple diaries, including personal and linked diaries, rather than being restricted to a single personal calendar.

The platform made it easy to book and schedule clients for headshots for a large project. I will continue to use the platform in the future, as it is a very intuitive platform. Used it for a large scale headshot session and was given nothing but positive feedback!

I overall think the scheduling could be better structured to work outside of a calendar system. It would be great to further embed calendars to help with scheduling.

I was a YCBM employee and I've carried YCBM with me ever since. Because I worked there I know how much they care about the customers and that they'll always be working on making it better for both users: the paying customers and their bookers.

I'm a marketing coach and I coach several women and I always recommend YCBM. I love how easy it is to use and customize.
My absolute favorite feature is the form - this always helps me prepare for the calls with my leads and clients.

You Can Book Me is a great scheduling tool which integrates with other systems. I love how customizable it can be to suit your needs. If the interface does work for you, they also have an API interface which allows you to use much of the same functionality.  Customer support is also fantastic and very responsive.  They are always friendly and open to product suggestions.

It would be great if they had an audit feature which shows you who made what changes.

Ease of use and integration, and how easy it is for customers to book through our appointment system.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

The past few years of us using YouCanBook.Me has gone well rather smoothly. But for the past month we have encountered a major glitch in their system that resulted to us losing sales. Our page has shown that we're "unavailable" to book even though our calendar says otherwise. And our calendar in YouCanBook.Me kept multiplying - to a degree that it has reached 36 calendars. And I had to go through each of those calendars just to see which one would work - only for it to stop working a couple of hours later.

For two whole weeks now their customer service has told me that their devs have been working on it but there is no sense of urgency from their side, and as a paying client, I am extremely dissatisfied.

It is our primary appointment system for us as well as our clients.

YCBM has great features that make setting up a meeting painless. I am such a fan of the feature that allows me to share one link with many people so I can set up a conversation with them at an event. Even complex processes such as automated messaging after a meeting is booked can be customized by the user. The best thing about YouCanBookMe is how easy it is to use. It's also easy to integrate with our other applications.

Just up until last year I think, or the last two years, their customer service was spectacular. I used to get immediate responses from their live chat but now their chat doesn't even work properly anymore. It's always just the bot and even when I leave a message in the chat, I never get a response sent to my email.

There's also been a bug with one of our calendars that has been going on for several weeks now. I've been asked for my patience on the matter but we're losing leads because of it and the customer service is taking so long to fix the issue and respond to my query.

That is with multiple follow ups too as a PAID user. Also used to be able to use custom CSS which they removed so styling is much more limited

What I love about YCBM is the ability to customize so many of the bookings. It is easy to update and change the cadence of notifications, use shortcodes to customize the experience and replicate this for other calls. Once set up, the process is practically on autopilot.
Easy to set up, design, and link with existing calendars.

I primarily use it with my Google Calendar and Outlook Integrations.
Works wonderfully for both parties.

There are several add-on services and options that can be added to the platform/solution you chose.
We were excited for the text service and automated e-mail reminders.

Setting up specifically timed reminders also helps reduce missed appointments.

While we are using this during the hiring process, we are contemplating using it for our new business, virtual, quotes, and estimates.

What a better way to get both sides to review applicable and available times, allow the client (or consumer-facing portal) to assist with the administrative and mundane portion of the booking processes.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

There is nothing I would truly consider a downside.
The product works exactly as advertised and makes life easier for both the applicant (in our case) and myself.

Play around with the trial, or the free version; there are a few options I fell in love with, such as the texting option, and e-mail follow-ups, even a customized workflow. 
It integrates wonderfully with my calendars and push notifications. 


I would also recommend testing the system as both parties when setting up the workflow, to test, and experience both sides of the booking process.

We are using this solution in part of our hiring process and virtual interviews.

As this is a paid service, I would have hoped that customers would be treated with more care. I'm unlikely to renew my subscription to this service which seems a shame.

I love YouCanBook.me for its ability to allow me to customise my meeting in so many ways - giving it a name, description and duration are just some of the options. The ease with which I can reschedule or cancel meetings gives me more control over my time, and having notifications tailored to participants is also incredibly useful. And the integration with Google Calendar makes everything even more streamlined. One of the other great features is that you can set your availability by the hour before sharing the necessary links - everyone then has access to check when it's best for them to schedule a meeting without disrupting our day-to-day lives.

I do not like the fact that it can be difficult to access the integration interface and I think improving the layout of the booking page would make things easier. It should also be easier to add company logos. It's incredibly straightforward to control when I am bookable and is seamlessly integrated with my Google calendar. It's like an electronic secretary that can be extended by plugging it into whatever I want it to (via Zapier). Easy to design a beautiful branded interface and it works really well for managing the team's availability. Wonderful customer support. It's so obvious that this is a company hiring people with a good work ethic and good values. One of their UX guys even chatted with me about aspects of design and configuration of the interface. I found that amazing. They seem to be very focused on customer success and building a really loyal customer base founded on exceptional experience. I don't give that many reviews (even though I have deep knowledge of a ton of B2B SaaS apps), but I'm moved to give this one.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

There's nothing I dislike about it (I've checked all the main ones and this is the best at time of writing), but it would be cool if the Zoom integration was more automated.

So easy to try it for free - and the free version is super-useful. If you upgrade to the paid version, you can turn it into a beautifully branded interface for anyone looking to book time with you. It is not expensive at all for what you get.

Customers find it visually attractive, easy to understand and use and aren't pushed away in confusion.  We have access to several free options, even parts of all-in-one solutions, included in programs like Kartra, and it's STILL worth it to use youcanbookme instead.  The new zoom integration is amazing, but could use one improvement noted below.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

A bit unfortunate it stopped integrating with apple calendars - that sometimes causes problems on rare occasion.  Timezone management options are still a touch squirrely.  The zoom integration could use a few more optional controls, like enabling asking a customer if they want to have a zoom or phone call and have the system react with a link depending on that answer.  It would also be nice to have more controls to define the if-then assignment flow with team accounts.

It's more inviting to use than any other calendar booking solution we've seen, and as a result, we see a 5%-10% improvement in booking through youcanbook.me over any other system we have available.  It's very easy to setup and when we needed to scale with a growing sales team, it was fairly easy to establish that.

I love that I can just share a booking link and avoid the back-and-forth of emails or texts to set a time with someone. I also appreciate the automactic padding between meetings to ensure I have breaks between my calls and avoid 3 hour blocks of solid meetings.

I wish that the invites I am sent had the person added as an invitee to the calendar invite. That would allow me to move the meeting or add details without the extra step of adding in their email. I also wish that there was a way to simply book times via text - that would be a nifty feature!

I spent a very long time looking for a software that would link multiple booking forms to one calendar. This does the trick. I have my google calendar on my phone and pc. Which is my go to for both business and personal use. I can create multiple booking forms for different businesses/locations that all need to go to the one calendar. This is great, it means if I'm booked for 1 thing at a certain time, the other booking forms will sync and show this time as unavailable.

It can be tricky booking out whole days e.g. I'm on holiday all day, but I have to set the calendar as though it's just the working times.

I really like the ability to create multiple types of events that can be scheduled. Each event can have its own unique scheduling characteristics and descriptions so it is simple to send out a proper link to the type of meeting you want to schedule.

I found the platform a little bit difficult to set up and learn initially. There were specific nuances to it that needed to be learned which took some time, the first couple of meeting invites I sent out were missing info due to not realizing how it worked on the back end.

While YCBM has many of the features that the competition has, it also has two key features that I could not find elsewhere:

1. Tentative bookings - allowing customers to *request* a booking that I can later confirm.
2. Customer-defined booking length - allowing customers to determine how much time they would like for their booking.

I also love how customizable the notification system is, using both email and SMS.

While I love that I can connect my calendars to my booking page to have my availability updated automatically, I dislike how I would need to pay for each individual calendar connection. I understand why they need to do this, and an easy workaround for me was to just use one separate calendar to put my availability into each month. Otherwise, it's great!

I love that I can easily change the appointment within my outlook calendar and don't have to log in to another browser or window to adjust something already right in front of me. And, when I cancel or reschedule that appointment, the student is automatically emailed. I also love that I can customize so many of the features, including the emails students receive before or after an appointment.

I wish that making a 45 min appointment was a bit easier to do in chunks. The way the chunking of scheduling works is a little finicky at first, but completely manageable.

I love how YCBM allows users to customise every part of the scheduling process. Even particular cases are possible to set up and are reasonably cheap. For the booker, it's easy to use, and we never had any issues or questions. Setting up the booking pages takes a bit of practice.

Since the tool is so powerful, it takes some time to find all the features you need. I had to contact support for a few questions and they replied very fast and helped me resolve my issues.

Instead of the time-consuming back-and-forth to find meeting slots with external parties, you can send out a link, and people select a slot that works for them. YCBM is integrated with your and your team's calendar to check availability on several calendars.

I love how simple it is to set up and share with my students and families. It keeps me organized and has helped increase the amount of student meetings.

I'm not sure if there is a way to block of random times as I go. For instance, I can set a time each day to block off, such as lunch, but if I want to block of just today from 1pm-2pm, I have to go into my google calendar and "schedule" the time rather than just creating that in Youcanbook me directly. There might be a way to do it, however. I just haven't found it yet.

I have been using YouCanBookMe for over a year now and it is a quick and easy way to create a booking page. It allows me to sync the booking page to my Google Calendar, which then allows very easy access to manage the bookings and my week! Thank you YouCanBookMe for everything you do.

The free option doesn't offer as much as the paid, which is why I switched (like putting in blocks between bookings and things like that). But they still have a lot to offer on the free option and even more features on the paid solution.

It really helps me with sorting out my calendar with the clients that I am working with on a weekly basis. It allows them to easily schedule meetings and provides multiple meeting length options.

Love that it syncs with my calendar and that I can designate times when I am willing to meet and then other people can just choose from those times what works for them!  Removes the tedious practice of emailing back and forth or checking calendars while trying to find a mutually good time to meet with someone.

Absolutely love the texting reminder feature, but wish that it wasn't a paid feature or that there were educational discounts.  I use for meeting with a high volume college students so am constantly having to refilll my text allocation.

Having to constantly check my calendar to find a common time that works for both parties to meet or dealing with a high volume of emails dedicated to just scheduling meetings.

I love that I can restrict the timespan between the meeting and scheduling dates. In the past, I used to share my calendar and allow people to schedule whenever. This approach was problematic because meetings would inconveniently appear in the middle of the week. Now, I set my scheduler only to allow meetings to be scheduled a week from the date of scheduling.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

The learning curve can be steep if you're not moderately tech-savvy. However, there are a lot of resources and support, and the company is incredibly responsive via email. I've encountered several issues with my calendar not syncing with the system. There were issues with how I entered commitments on my linked Google calendar---not with YouCanBook.me. But it was incredibly frustrating to spend so much time trying to troubleshoot to figure out why my calendar wasn't showing up accurately within YCBM, only to find out that it was a user error outside of YCBM. I wish there was an easier way to detect the origin of such problems...

YCBM takes the guesswork out of scheduling. I've saved many emails by allowing people (especially students) to schedule directly through YCBM. I also think it helps students feel comfortable and empowered to schedule with me, knowing they have a wide range of options and time slot lengths.

I absolutely love the fact that YouCanBook.me integrates with Google Calendar. The ability of the site to read my calendar and set up appointments based on my calendar availability is crucial for me to schedule meetings effectively.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

I wish there was more integration of youcanbook.me into google (widget/app). What I dislike is having to go to a separate site to manage my bookings. Another drawback is the fact I need a paid subscription for multiple booking types. However, I understand the necessity. It is the only premium feature I paid for.

**What problems is YouCanBookMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My schedule during the day is full and can change daily. Part of my job includes scheduling meetings with students while working out my schedule and theirs as well. This is a convoluted process to work through over email (especially when students are not using Google Calendar). YouCanBook.me removes the cumbersome task of matching schedules by doing the work for me. This frees up my time to be better informed/prepared for these meetings, keeps my mailbox free of scheduling clutter and seamlessly finds workable meeting times!

I like that with the paid version, you don't need to worry about editing your calendar each week. It is fantastic that you can adapt to the needs of the business. I also love that I can easily manage bookings - for example, a no-show and adjust the template to suit how I would say things. It means that my review can be personable and sound like me rather than a robotic version. I recommend people start with the free version but then transfer as soon as possible, as there are so many invaluable extras in the paid version that make life easier for me.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

It could be tricky to find where I need to go to mark my bookings as a no-show, so it would be fantastic if there were a clear button to do this. I also find it challenging to find the login button, so an easier way to find it would be great.

YouCanBookMe is saving me time. No longer do I need to worry about updating my calendar or needing to reschedule any appointments that are booked at the wrong time.

I like that reminder messgaes are sent and clients can respond to them and/or change their booking. The calendar is also really easy for me to use and sync with my business calendar to make sure I am not double booked.

I wish the messages I received from clients would come to me as a text message instead of an email so I can easily text back to them. It is a small inconvenience that is probably hard to work around.

Website is quick, responsive, and easy to use. Haven't had any issues with any of the features so far. Delivers what it promises and does it well. Quick learning curve and it is easy to make changes.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

I wish bookers had the option of selecting a duration prior to selecting a time to book, otherwise people will not know that they have the option to select longer periods of time before booking a slot. I also wish I could set preferred time slots and more easily manage one-off availability changes (I'm going to be 2 hours late today due to an emergency) without having to remember to switch the availability back. Also, I wish you could add other invitees to events more easily.

**What problems is YouCanBookMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do some executive assistant work. Trying to set up meetings between too very busy CEOs is very difficult. Don't even get me started with lawyers and accountants. This has cut down drastically on the amount of time I am spending going back and forth over email trying to book time with people as busy as my boss and I are.

I appreciate the way YCBM integrates with Google cal, making event invites/bookings easy to manage and track on the spot as they happen in real-time. The user interface is clean and the automations are well thought out which helps us provide an easy booking experience for our event invitees.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

Setting up the calendar is not as intuitive as it could be, so there's definitely room to improve -- for example, competitors make it easier to understand how you set the general rules around bookings. Example - "times and availability" and "calendar & teams" should probably be parsed out so there's not so many options under each bucket -- sometimes it feels like settings are hidden and hard to find. I also don't like that you can't go back and look at an entire event or mess around with settings until a calendar is integrated. That shouldn't be a requirement. Finally, I'd love to see more settings to add buffer time around each event.

**What problems is YouCanBookMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting large office hours events. I think it's the easiest tool to use that allows us to manage over 400 virtual meetings in one week without getting wires crossed.

I love that YCBM allows you to make custom pages for different types of events. Within each event, the options are endless: group bookings, custom time slots, awesome notifications (text message, email, & calendar). Not to mention it's EASY for the customer to book. 20 seconds or less, and they're done. YCBM has significantly transformed my business.

I wish it allowed Zoom personal meeting ID's for each team member, rather than generating a new meeting ID for each event. Otherwise, it's an amazing tool.

I have found YouCanBook.Me to be incredibly versatile. My company has used it to support several different projects, all of which have been made much simpler and more profitable because of this service. The interface is easy to use, the feature set is really rich, and the support offered by the team is great. Any questions I have had have been answered quickly and with ease. I also love that it's so easy to scale up and scale down your paid membership. Makes it great for a business that shifts projects a lot.

**What do you dislike about YouCanBookMe?**

My only complaint is that the calendar linking isn't always intuitive. Getting new users registered and the account updated is a little opaque. Still, once I got the hang of it, the process made sense. It was just a little hard to explain to our billing dept. at first.

We have to schedule multiple interviews with members of our staff and YouCanBook.Me has saved us a ton of time in that process. Instead of multiple emails back and forth to coordinate schedules, we just send folks the link and are done. It's been a game-changer and has saved us dozens of project hours.
