Wooclap is a particularly intuitive and easy-to-use tool, both for designers and trainers. Event creation is smooth, and the ability to share them among multiple collaborators greatly facilitates teamwork.

The diversity of proposed interactions (quizzes, polls, word clouds, open questions, etc.) allows for varied educational formats and maintains participant engagement throughout a session. Several of our trainers also point out that Wooclap effectively paces training sessions and keeps learners' attention, especially during long or intensive courses.

Some features could still be improved to facilitate large-scale animation. For example, it is currently not possible to use the same event simultaneously in multiple parallel sessions. It is necessary to duplicate events, which adds manipulations and sometimes complicates content management.

Regarding animation, we would also like more possibilities to make activities more immersive and playful. The management of background music could be smoother, with, for example, automatic launching when a question is displayed. I love the engagement that I get from students, they aren't focused on scrolling the socials or shopping online, they are focused in the content and the next Wooclap question. I love that there is no additional cost for students. Being able to have the slides show up on student devices is also great in the event the projectors stop working. As a psychologist conducting workshops and group sessions online (particularly around mindfulness and stress management), Wooclap has become a cornerstone of my practice. The variety of formats (word clouds, open questions, rating scales) allows me to gauge the group's pulse in real-time. What I particularly appreciate is the ability to offer guaranteed anonymity to participants. This immediately removes psychological barriers: people dare to express their emotions, blockages, or feelings without fear of judgment. The word cloud is great for starting a meditation or debriefing an introspection exercise, as it materializes the collective experience at a glance. What I like most about Wooclap is how easy it is to use. As an instructional designer, I look for technological tools that instructors can use effectively and independently, with minimal training, and Wooclap is definitely one of them because its interface is simple and intuitive. The fact that neither instructors nor students need to download anything in order to participate is a major advantage.

Additionally, Wooclap offers a wide range of question types, which makes it a versatile tool to implement campus-wide, since it can meet the needs of different disciplinary fields.

When it comes to integrations, the PowerPoint integration is another big plus, as most instructors use it to deliver content. This makes it easier to support learning through interactive presentations. I also appreciate that AI is included in the interface, because it allows instructors to explore the benefits of AI for teaching in a safe way.

Overall, I really like Wooclap. That said, one area that could be improved is how information is displayed. In general, the display works fine and users can share and read information without issues. However, when there’s a large number of participants, the answers can become too small or hard to interpret quickly, especially for the instructor, particularly for questions such as the word cloud or concordance questions. I love the variety of possibilities offered by Wooclap, especially the pedagogical variety and the different types of questions that make participants active and engaged. The ability to easily share a code for an event with others makes this tool very simple and easy to use. The platform is designed to capture attention and provide feedback, which is very enriching according to pedagogical neuroscience work. I find that there might be a need for improvement in collaborative work on Wooclap. It would be nice to have a collaborative whiteboard that allows multiple people to post responses collaboratively, for example, when developing the rules of a training game. I think this would be a great advancement for Wooclap. Also, although Wooclap already uses AI, I think there could be more development in the use of AI to offer even more features. I can no longer imagine conducting a training session without Wooclap. My trainees, future trainers, appreciate it too and show me when I participate in their trainings. It's extremely fluid and participative: Wooclap captures attention and involves my participants. I appreciate its ease of use before or during a session to create interactivity, as well as access to different activities to design an event. The tool's ergonomics are very well thought out and help save on training for handling. If needed, the provided documentation is detailed and of high quality, and the customer support is responsive. All the tool's features serve better interactivity in-person or remotely, and the tool remains efficient regardless of the number of users. The provided PowerPoint and Moodle plugins offer a valued extension of the Wooclap ecosystem to these two tools. The absence of a mobile application and the mandatory use of a web browser can cause connection issues. Pricing based on the actual number of users could also potentially lead to some savings.
