It is user friendly as well as easily customizable based on the customers requriement. Viedoc is easy for basic implementation and also capable to handle lot of customer requriement for the Clinical Trials. At last, Viedoc team (support team) helps a lot if there is any updates or bug is identified during critical times. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** As a developer, there are few things that can be updated to make job more convieneint. We can discuss about the updates that can be done in the revision version of any version, since it is limited to some minor updates. Along with this, i will suggest to increase the logout time from 20 minutes to 30 minutes or more as per convenience. This is really an user friendly, self exploratory and a constantly improving EDC which definitely are the best of its upsides. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** I can see a lot of improvements in terms of performance recently, yet I still feel it can be made a lot better. Handling post live changes for 2 years now, getting a design saved and validated for a complex study is actually time consuming. Requirement in handling studies with more than 70visits and adding allocations for more than 600activities increasing the load in designer which is difficult to handle. It can also include a feature to identify the design impact of different design versions to the subject data. Since it is not always easy to replicate something in the training server on any issue/bug reported by the client. The requirement for adding dummy visits in the older design versions to prevent the unwanted re-triggering of closed visit window queries can be addressed soon. Since, this approach of adding new visits only in latest design are followed for most studies now, it would be really tiresome to implement the workaround of adding numerous dummy visits for all of live revisions. Having JavaScript - considerably simple programming language to enable edit checks and functions are good, yet the bugs and limitations in it are not easy to anticipate/test in the training scenario. e-Learning can include few of common bugs from JS. It would be better to minimize and maximize all the visits at once, as adding a new visits at the bottom and dragging to place it somewhere on top is not easy for study with lot of visits. For updating the Field label, it should be able to drag and expand (like Instructions for user, data checks are available now). It is difficult in terms of copying huge text like any criteria and update something in it. For static texts, OIDs can be made editable to prevent it from being same with other form ID and having _Copy1 multiple number of times. Also received a comment from a client that "Private notes" feature is not private at all in terms of site user perspective. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Designer page being really simple and enabling the designer to setup a study with minimal requirement on any programming language. - Having JavaScript expression editor helping the user to identify the variables and codelists, make the designing and review more efficient. - Getting the "Roles" page to be updated in live revision is such a nice addition, as a person who handles post live changes, any update preventing us to enable a new design version is really good. - Having the Viedoc Support team to acknowledge and address any issue being raised at any point of time show the EDCs strive for constant improvement. ### 17. Integrating this would be benefical for trail teams definetely. It is easy to navigate all the features for a site user on the clinic page. All the functionalities are available on separate tabs, be it SDV, Sign, Clinical Review or Data Review, and can be easily noticed in the UI. Also, having the feature of proposing dates for scheduled events makes the sites plan the events more precisely. Having separate and recognizable parts for Scheduled, Unscheduled and Common Events makes the user interface more organized and constructed. The preview setup and Study workflow on the designer page are very convenient; the design errors are easily identified. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** Even though Javascript is a simple coding language that enables the designer to code edit checks easily, due to some limitations in floating point arithmetics, sometimes undesired outcomes may arise. Also, there is a bug when an edit check is programmed in a checkbox field with dependent fields from other forms. This bug will make the dependent items consider their control type as a checkbox (When the form containing the dependent items is not initiated) irrespective of its control type. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Viedoc solves most of the data entry errors during a clinical trial. It enables various edit checks and data entry limiting features (Eg: restricting the number of decimals in a numeric field) that reduce errors. It also facilitates the clinical trial's data management and analysis parts. Accessing Global library is the simplest and makes designing easier across studies. Have used and benefitted out of global library the Maxxxx. Make oid if static text updatable. This will help to duplicate field where the oid will not have multiple copy in it.Overwrite the same version and retest updates will be helpful We could add a few critical standard reports that would make dm work easy. As a person who is using the Viedoc daily, I would like to appreciate Viedoc for its colorful and user-friendly interface. It makes this EDC more accessible. Also, Viedoc is easy to handle and navigate. It makes our design implemetation more simpler. e-Learning feature is contributing a better understanding of the EDC functionalities and usages. Apart form this a main point that I noticed is about Viedoc Support team. They are very inhesitant to solveour problems. Also they will figure out the problem in less time. It is much appreciatable. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** Apart from the upsides, I would like to point out few downsides of the EDC. 1. When utilizing the split group feature, it appears that the fields on the left side won't be included in the configuration report. 2. Only one person can use the same ODM at same time. If multiple persons can work at same time, it would be more better. Becuse sometimes the updates are not reflecting in the design if multiple tabs are open. Hope this will help you to work around it. We couldn't take the configuration report or use the work area itsef. We raised Vidoc support for the same. Within the same day they fixed the error. In one more instant we raised for support. In 2 random instances where the some visits do not display the visit name in Viedoc. In reports, the visit name is correctly displayed. We had many discussions. It was very hard to figure out since only live site has this issue. We both study team and support team recreated the same senario in our training site. It was working fine. Later having many discussion, they could figured out the bug and they fixed the same. ### 23. It is also budget friendly for customers. It is also easy to navigate between pages. And for each activity, it has separate modules like Medical coding, lab reference range, Message, Metrics and to view overall data. Also, it has all the information in e-Learning section which is very useful for all the users to refer it whenever required. Coming to design part, it is very easy for designers to learn everything from e-Learning and design the study without any instructor. Regarding the Data Management part, it is very easy and confortable for Data Managers to mark Data review as a whole and to raise and resolve queries easily. It also allows to customize reports which helps in Data Management activties. And, regarding the customer support, the reply are very quick and it saves time. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** Viedoc can bring in "Freeze" option for data to freeze instead of lock. It will be useful during Data review. Usually, Lock will be performed at the end of study. If 'Freeze' option is in Viedoc, it would be much useful for freezing the data in the mid of study or during any milestone. Also, the reports can be in detail for 'Queries' in EDC. Also, while raising the queries in EDC, it can have options like site, Medical Monitor, CRA..etc to address the person for whom the query is raised. Since we are able to export 'Audit trial' in PDF, it would be great if we can export it in Excel format. The e-Learings and help support from viedoc is actually very helpful to understand each one of its functions. The UI of the Reports module is the one thing i love the most about viewing the output. Cost-effective product. Easily accessable without external guidance. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** If reports is not enabled for a study at first and then we enable the reports when the study is having a large number of subject data in it, navigating to the reports module is sometimes impossible as it takes longer time for loading and we need to stay in that page till loading gets 100% but the page will automatically logout if we stay without performing any actions in the same page. This was the one issue we faced in the reports module. This case happened for the internal project area which we use for testing. One more thing to add on is that for custom report creation we need to upload the R-program script in the reports configuration and then go back to the reports module to see the output, this seems to be time consuming when we are trying out to update and check the report code whether it is working fine or not. A suggestion is that in the reports configuration page if we have a preview page to view the output with a maximum of 5-10 it will better. Otherwise if we have the uploading script option directly under the reports module where we view the output will also be a good solution. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using the integrated reports module, it is easier to create custom reports and FSDTM reports by using R-Scripts. If the CRA wants to resolve the queries together with the CRC- there is no such option- the CRA needs to wait until the CRC gets out of the patient (and sometimes from the system), and only then needs to work additional several hours to approve the queries. This is unbearable and adds to the work burden on the sites and the CRA, who are already overloaded. As well the fact that someone from DM form India or US can call my site CRC to ask them to get out of the EDC- who heard of such a thing?! This is totally unacceptable, and this is why I would never reommend this system to a coleague. The fact that the SDV percentage dropped suddenly from 100% to 40% after some updates - these patients were under another protocol amendment and were 100% SDVed, and I wasted additional hours to re-SDV them. Again- unaaceptable. And there is no customer support (maybe it was not paid by the sponsor, so I am not here to raise the lack of a helpdesk). **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** NA for me- apparently you have great salesforce, as the product itself and the quality is below other similar systems on the market. **Official Response from Johannes Molin:** > Hi, Thanks for the honest feedback. It seems like you are suffering from a bad experience working in a study where the platform is not used correctly. Multiple users working in the same patient IS allowed since a release some time back. But this is a setting the study manager will need to enable. It seems to me you are suffering because this was not done, which is very unfortunate of course. Regarding the drop in SDV - this will depend on how you do the CRF update. If you upgrade already filled forms in a way that may change data integrity, review flags will be lost - but the important thing here is that there are other ways to make CRF updates. Seems again that you suffered a bit based on how the system was used in your specific study rather than the system itself. For support we are using a Designer support so that we from our end can support the certified designers and they can support their organizations when questions arise. Adequate support regarding system access and study related questions requires knowledge of the next user level in the support chain and the study protocol. This is also important from a privacy regulation and information security perspective. The Software is designed to eliminate the need for a centralized helpdesk that typically struggles with these important perspectives. It would be great be if a matrix concept can be introduced, for example i have five visits where I need to enter few common visibilityies which I'll be declaring individually. but if I have this matrix, i can enter the common visiblities and club all the forms or datafields into the matrix where all the forms or datafields will get this update simultaneously. Onething that I faced recently is I was not able to publish the design if there were any errors. The scenario is I havent completed the study workflow but completed all my forms and need to review the forms before I move it for my reviewer. I would prefer if it didn't automatically log me out after 20 minutes of inactivity, although I appreciate that it is for security reasons. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Viedoc hosts our trial data and allows sites to register and randomise patients, as well as completing all of their case report forms. This allows us to focus on moving the trial forward without spending time manually randomising patients or processing their forms.
