Been reading on which Gmail settings keep legitimate email out of spam for Google Workspace users. Gmail offers two in its own settings: marking a message as Not spam, which moves it out and helps the filter learn, and creating a filter for a trusted sender with Never send it to Spam selected. Going by G2 reviews, the occasional important email caught by the filter is the situation people raise, and a regular look at the spam folder alongside those settings is the habit they recommend.
For office suites buyers, a strong spam filter is part of the value, especially for organisations receiving a lot of external mail, and a short list of trusted-sender filters keeps it from catching the messages that matter. The wider suite is what people rate most: Gmail, Drive, Docs and Meet working together, with Gemini drafting emails and summarising threads.
