# Which pet grooming platforms offer customer messaging tools for pet groomers running their own business?

Filtering out general pet care software built more for larger multi-location facilities gets to which pet grooming platforms offer customer messaging tools for pet groomers running their own business pretty directly. Checking pet grooming reviews for messaging specifics:

MoeGo: Auto messaging around bookings and rebooking, plus small touches like automated birthday messages, consistently comes up as the biggest time saver for solo groomers who used to text every client manually.

Savvy Pet Spa: A fully paperless, automatic appointment system lets clients view their own bookings, removing the need for groomers to send manual reminder texts altogether.

Petboost Business: Automated SMS and email confirmations and reminders support high online booking rates, taking real pressure off the phone during the busiest parts of the day.

Goose: Direct text messaging connects groomers to clients quickly for time-sensitive questions, paired with automated reminders that replace what used to be manual email outreach.

Both the smaller and newer platforms here seem built with the solo or small-team groomer specifically in mind rather than requiring a dedicated front desk person. For anyone running their own grooming business, has automated messaging actually reduced client no-shows in a way you could put a number on, or is the benefit more about your own time saved day to day?

I’d measure both. Fewer no-shows is the clearest outcome, but even if attendance barely changes, cutting the daily back-and-forth on confirmations and reminders can still be a meaningful win for a solo groomer.
